est loved ones in Joshua Tree. From the get-go, Caleb & Amy were extremely accommodating in getting on a call with us that very day after linking up through email. Priscilla and I felt at ease the moment we hopped on the video call, and just based on our initial email exchange and brief intros, it felt like we were on the same page as far as the vibe and general planning went. The follow ups all really helped to organize the day for us in our minds - this was really important for us as with our elopement (which was an intimate gathering of around 10 people), we didn't have a planner to help us with the ins and outs of the day. The structure and plans that Caleb & Amy helped to paint not only set the tone for the shooting schedule, but also the day itself. This was also right around the time that there were some issues with airports and flight cancellations, and while it didn't come to pass, they mentioned that if we came upon a worst-case scenario with a cancelled flight, they would be driving from Colorado to Southern California - that is some dedication to your professional commitments! Furthermore, it rarely rains out in the desert, but as luck would have it (truly), we were blessed with rain on our special day. Immediately, we got on another video call to discuss contingencies and what to expect, and both of us felt at-ease about our day - come rain or high water. On the day of, it really was an absolute pleasure working with Caleb & Amy. We all at ease from the beginning, and it was an awesome time taking the pictures and spending time throughout the day. In between the two giving us our cues to make sure they were getting the best shots, the conversations & company were great which helped do away with any feelings of anxiety & nothing ever felt forced, even in the slightest. It did rain throughout most of the day, but Caleb & Amy helped us navigate, and we would argue, got more out of the weather than the other way around! No time was wasted when we had moments of stillness whilst not ever feeling rushed about a thing. With both their experience & expertise, we were able to navigate our first look and vows by shuffling the plans to suit the weather. It worked out perfectly, we were always asked whether we were OK with the changes, and honestly, whilst everything may not necessarily have gone according to plan, it went exactly as we would have wanted it! We had a 15 minute window of the rain stopping (Caleb & Amy were tracking the clouds throughout), and we took that chance to go outside, exchange vows, and do our thing, which was always part of the plan. That whole sequence is one of my favorite memories from that day (on a day filled with such). We've only had a chance to look at the sneak peek images so far, but wow! The pictures are stunning, and I daresay the duo's mastery of their craft & versatility is on full display with how the pictures came out given the various unexpected conditions we dealt with. The day would not have been what it was without their presence, and for this, we'll always be grateful. For anyone reading this & in need of an elopement photographer + videographer, do yourself a service and, at the very least, add Caleb & Amy to your (short) list of vendors to reach out to. he knew that they were going to do our elopement photos and video (no quotes and no other shopping around, they were it without a doubt). Then after he proposed he showed me their work and I also immediately agreed, they were exactly what we wanted! During the elopement they were amazing! They know what they are doing and they were very open to all our thoughts and ideas while also knowing how to fill in the blanks and keep capturing every second of the magic. Our venue, the San Juan mountains (one of several sites they recommended), was incredible but even that was outshined by their beautiful personalities! They made our special day so magical and made us feel like we’re were the only thing that mattered, which is exactly what every couple wants. And now, after we’ve gotten our photos and our video, we are absolutely thrilled that we chose Caleb and Amy to capture this incredible day. We could not have asked for anything better. Their work is jaw dropping! Whether you choose them for an elopement or a traditional wedding, they are without a doubt going to blow you away. However it is you’ve come to find them, just stop searching, you’ve found the right place and there is no need to keep looking. They’ve got the stuff and you MUST pick them! Caleb, Amy, we want to thank you both from the bottom of our hearts. It would not have been the magical experience it was without the two of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The day of the wedding, they brought a calming presence (also wore very stylish matching jumpsuits) and we knew we were in good hands. Caleb and Amy are so kind, patient, talented, and professional--you can tell they love what they do.We definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!
