I’m Caleb Thomas, the artist behind Caleb Thomas Art LLC, specializing in live wedding paintings, live guest portraits, and custom oil paintings on canvas. I was raised in Dayton, Ohio, and now call Columbus, Ohio home — though my work takes me all across Ohio and beyond to paint at live events.
In my opinion, I have the best job in the entire world! There have been many times I've had a guest compare my work to the stick figures that they're able to draw or had someone ask to be penciled into the couple's wedding painting, but my laugh is genuine every time. And that's because I can truly say that I'm having the time of my life at every celebration.
I'd also like to mention that I'm so grateful to YOU! Whether you've followed my work for a while now or you're just now considering me to create art for you, I'm absolutely humbled by your support. I wouldn't be able to have this job if it wasn't for you -- so, from the bottom of my heart -- THANK YOU! 🙏

Caleb did a PHENOMENAL job as our live wedding painter! He was very professional and friendly. He arrived at our wedding in a timely manne...
r, set up his stuff and painted throughout the wedding and reception. It was the perfect addition to our day! Everyone loved seeing him bringing the painting to life from the start of the day. He even let his captive audience, my two little flower girls take a turn with the brush, making them feel included in the process, too!
The guests just loved this special touch to the day.
After, he took the painting home to finish and let it curate, framed it and delivered it to us.
I smile everytime I see it on our wall. It’s such a special artistic piece in our home.
Highly recommend adding him to your special day vendor list!
