Caleb Wiles

We had a vintage circus themed wedding (think Water for Elephants meets The Great Gatsby). We wanted some fun entertainment to go with this theme. It's hard to find this kind of thing! My dad found Indy Magic Monthly (a small venue performance with 3 different magicians each month), and we went to a few of these shows. Caleb was our favorite because he did a lot of card tricks/slight of hand, which is the kind of trick we like best, and he was very casual and comfortable. We talked to him after the show and arranged the rest by email. Everyone - kids and adults - was impressed by the tricks and thought it was a fun, unique thing to have a magician at a wedding. He wandered around and did card tricks during cocktail hour and dinner. He was just as comfortable to watch at the wedding as at the show. I would definitely recommend Caleb. You get a lot more bang for your buck than you would with a small band or other traditional cocktail hour entertainment. We skipped the DJ and just had a song list play on its own, so even with Caleb (and the tarot card reader/numerologist/palm reader we also hired), we still saved money on entertainment from the standard band or DJ.
