iant is free so we took a shot. Our first conversation with Alice (our assigned officiant) was on a video call, where she was brimming with personality, very open, and easy to talk to. Once we signed the contract, we met with Alice at her office, where she had tons of different examples for ceremonies and was eager to try to find something that felt right to us and the ceremony we wanted to create. After our initial meetup, Alice put together a draft script and highlighted areas where we still needed to make decisions, including a few examples for each and time to think it over. She was also very willing to listen to our ideas, and incorporated a “tying the knot” ceremony perfectly when we were looking for something different from the traditional Unity ceremonies we’d seen online. On our wedding day, Alice showed up on time and handled the ceremony beautifully!

My husband and I are not religious, but our families are, so she was able to make a custom ceremony that incorporated everything we wanted. When she talked about us in front of our friends and family it sounded like she had knows us our whole lives. It brought happy tears to almost everyone's eyes. After the ceremony so many of our guests reached out to us to tell us how beautiful the ceremony was, and how they had never heard anything like it. They put emphasis on how perfect it was for us and how she really captured the essence of our relationship. We wanted our ceremony to be original so we did a wine box ceremony, which was Jamie's idea, and it could not have gone better! She made sure that the ceremony was everything we needed from our story to personal readings from family members, to our vows. Jamie was early to our ceremony so she was able to coordinate with the other vendors so everything went smoothly. She promptly filed our marriage license so it was available to us. I cannot say enough great things about Jamie. We are so happy she was the one to marry us, and we would not have imagined it any other way. Ceremony Officiants made it so easy to find the perfect officiant for our wedding and get in contact with them.

Originally we had a different officiant, but when he was unable to perform the ceremony (with about a year's notice, so nothing problematic), Rev. Laura very generously agreed to do it herself. This ultimately was the best thing that could have possibly happened to us. From the moment we met her, we were absolutely over the moon knowing she would be conducting our ceremony, because when we met her we felt completely at ease and confident that she was the best person to marry us. Rev. Laura is the rare combination of an accomplished and organized professional who also makes you feel like you've known her forever, which was perfect. She is warm and genuine, and the ceremony she wrote for us was absolutely beautiful - every time I read it in the months leading up to the wedding, I was moved to tears. She gave us free rein to make changes after writing our ceremony, but her words (based on what she learned about our relationship from the conversations and meetings we had leading up to the wedding) were so perfect we didn't need to make any changes. Rev. Laura made the ceremony all about us and our relationship, and every guest I spoke to raved about how lovely the ceremony was and how special it was to have Rev. Laura, because she made it so humorous and fun, but also maintained the importance and dignity of the occasion and the significance of our commitment to each other in marriage. It was a profoundly beautiful moment already, and Rev. Laura elevated it to an even higher level through her actions and her incredible talent for officiating marriage ceremonies. I recommend that any couple getting married asks Rev. Laura to do them the honor of acting as their officiant, because it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, and it started our marriage off on the most incredible note possible because of Rev. Laura's elegant ceremony and how fantastically she conducted it.

She worked with us going over what we wanted and was open to changes. We sent our ceremony layout back and forth via email multiple times until it was just right. Lynne showed up on time, was friendly and felt like a friend who was truly happy for you by the time that we actually reached our wedding day! Double points for being able to reschedule our ceremony date as we had a change of plans and decided to move our wedding from October up to June.

ke, and what type of personalities you have. After this, Rev. Cherie was assigned to us and from the beginning she exuded a warm and loving aura. She seemed to be someone who is “in love with love.” Basically she is happy to share in anyone’s happy moments in a way that feels genuine and heartfelt and not forced or awkward. She met us once in person and then communicated via email the rest of the time in an effort to get to know us well enough to write a natural and engaging ceremony. Her responses to us were always incredibly fast and clear (always a good sign of an awesome vendor). After this, she sends you a Google Doc which allows you to edit the ceremony she has written and to adjust as you see fit. She had the first draft of our ceremony done very early - I want to say at least 6 months ahead of our wedding which allowed tons of time to think thoughtfully through it and to get it just right. Therefore, we felt our ceremony went off perfectly. It was sentimental, true to us as a couple, and delivered in a beautiful way. Rev. Cherie has a wonderful warmth to her voice, and many of our guests praised our officiant afterwards. The most common compliment we heard was that if they were going to have a wedding, they would want their ceremony to go exactly as ours had: it was loving, it was touching, and it represented us in the best way. For anyone who gets Rev. Cherie as their officiant, you are probably the luckiest couple ever!

We wanted a completely non-religious ceremony, and CK had a ton of ideas and suggestions for fleshing it out a bit and making our ceremony meaningful. We were a little shy about reading vows to each other, and CK had a great suggestion of each of us sending her 5 things we loved about each other, which she kept a secret until our wedding day. She read them aloud during our ceremony and it was such a perfect touch...we were both tearing up and laughing at the sweet things we said about each other, and so were our guests. We had such a lovely ceremony, and so many of my guests came up to me at the reception specifically to compliment CK, to say how wonderful she was and how beautiful the ceremony was. A few dates of my guests whom I hadn't met before even said they were very touched by the ceremony, and they didn't even know us! Ceremony Officiants was really lovely to work with, and very easy to contact, as was CK. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!

Our ceremony was somewhat non-traditional, with no references to religion and a special handfasting ritual. Rev. CK Andrews practiced how to tie the handfasting cord and memorized her lines during that part of the ceremony, making it seamless. She had nice posture, a kind voice, appropriate pacing, and a lovely smile. I high recommend her!
