Cali Stott Hair & Makeup Artistry

Cali and her team were the best! I had the pleasure of working with Cali last year as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, and it was a no-brainer to hire her for my own wedding. From the initial outreach to the trial to the wedding day, Cali and her team made everyone so comfortable and did a great job! We had 3 stylists working on 8 girls + 2 moms, and they were incredibly efficient, fun to be around, and everyone was so happy with their results.

Cali Stott and her team are wonderful! Cali was super organized and easy to communicate with leading up to our wedding and for the trial. Jade and Terry were our hair and makeup artists and they were super accommodating to what I wanted/didn't want at the trial and on the wedding day. I loved my wedding day look, and my whole wedding party looked absolutely stunning. We couldn't have asked for sweeter or more fun gals to get ready with. I would 100% book them again!

Cali is absolutely fantastic and just the best to work with! She was so kind throughout and made the wedding hair and makeup process so easy and fun! As for my hair and makeup day of, it was stunning!!!! It was exactly what I had imagined and more for my wedding day! Cali and Jade did such an amazing job. Each of my bridesmaids and mother of bride and groom looked so beautiful and all the hair and makeup held up so well, even through a full night of dancing! Cali is a true ray of sunshine and brings the best vibes to wedding morning. 12/10 would recommend Cali and her team to any bride in the market for a hair and makeup artist :)

Cali and her team did an incredible job for me and my bridesmaids for my September wedding. All of my girls said that they felt like themselves, but all glammed up - it's the best compliment I can imagine giving a H&M team. We all felt comfortable with the team as they listened to how we wanted to look and replicated it. The hairstyle that I had decided to do for my wedding was tricky with my hair type, so after our first trial run didn't go perfectly, Cali went out of her way to book another trail run with me to be sure that she was ready for the big day and that I would like the style on me. I so appreciated that extra effort. Cali and her team were kind and did beautiful work. Would definitely recommend them!

She was patient with me as I was determining my bridal party headcount, she spent plenty of time with me in my hair & makeup trial, provided me with beauty tips leading up to the big day and ended up making me a beautiful bride for my wedding day! Cali and her team were so kind and professional through the whole experience. We loved working with Cali Stott for our wedding. She was absolutely wonderful in the lead up to the wedding. She was responsive, asked the right questions, and was so helpful for the trial run. She also sent great reminders so that my wedding party was prepared. On the day of the wedding, Cali Stott Artistry was exceptional. We had women from ages 5 to 60 get their hair and make up done. Cali Stott Artistry made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Everyone was also so pleased with the final product and felt confident for the day. In addition, everyone's hair and make up held up so well against the July heat. We cannot recommend Cali Stott enough.

Cali was amazing to work with! She made me feel supported throughout the process and was great with communication. A major reason I went with Cali is because she does an incredible job with making you feel glamorous, but not overdone. Cali and her team rock the soft glam, which was exactly what I was looking for! The trial run was a great experience and Cali really took the time to understand my hair and make up vision, as well as get to know me. I also had no idea how to explain the look I was going for, but somehow she read my mind perfectly. Cali and her team had a detailed schedule for the wedding day and did a fantastic job getting us all ready. Even in the pouring rain, my hair and makeup stayed perfect all night without any touch ups. I cannot say enough good things about Cali and her team! Cali was extremely accommodating to me, making sure I felt my best on my wedding day. She also has the most amazing, fun personality! Cindy totally achieved my soft glam make look and l've never felt more beautiful! Kaitlyn went TOTALLY above and beyond with my hair. During our trial she gave me recommendations for my stylist to make sure my hair would look it's best come wedding day. I had a very long cathedral length vail and Kaitlyn was so amazing and came to the church with us to put it on. She stayed back with me and my dad taking pictures of us and helping with our nerves. When I think of my wedding day I will always cherish those memories!

Cali and her team were an absolute dream to work with and one of my favorite vendors from my wedding. I had myself, 11 bridesmaids, and 2 moms to get though hair and makeup. Cali and her team worked efficiently (we were all ready ahead of schedule!) while still listening so carefully to give each girl what they wanted. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and it withstood June temperatures in Charlotte! I had a few tweaks after my trial and Cali absolutely delivered. I looked how I always hoped I would for my wedding! I would not hesitate to book again and will recommend to all my friends going forward.

Oh my goodness!!! We loooooove Calli and her team. Book her ASAP! Calli is a gifted artist, incredible listener and warm hearted expert. She made the process of H&MU an absolute delight. Calli carefully listened to my daughter's desires for her look and that of her bridesmaids. And of course the result was absolute beauty - but the attribute I love most about Calli, is how she listened and accepted our feedback. My daughter and I each did a trial run before the wedding, and while we were very happy, we each had a few notes that we shared with Calli. Not only did she graciously listen, but she continued working on us until we were absolutely thrilled. We looked gorgeous if I do say!! Everything about Calli - from her skill, her design expertise, her willingness to listen and her team of artists makes her a pleasure to work with. But in the end - it is her heart for her brides on their day that shines through in her work.

Cali and Kristie were absolutely amazing on our wedding day! They planned a stress-free schedule perfectly, and my bridesmaids and mom looked beautiful. For my friends who don't wear much make-up normally, Cali listened to their requests and matched their styles. My bridal hair and make-up was also great. I had a few small tweaks after my trial, and Cali delivered on wedding day. My hair and make-up lasted 12+ hours and survived a lot of tears during our ceremony! I highly recommend Cali and her team. They were a joy to spend our morning with.

I cannot say enough about Cali Stott. I originally hired her to do my HMU for my engagement photos and she did such an incredible job that I begged her to see if she could figure out how to make the timing work for my wedding. She was a complete professional from trial to each of the 4 days of events themselves. I was THRILLED with all of my looks and Cali was such a safe space during a stressful time. We just got our photos back and the evidence of her skill is present all over them. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her for future events and photo shoots!

Cali and her team are such a dream! Cali, Teri, and Kristie were an amazing squad helping myself and 10 others get ready for my wedding day. Leading up to the day, Cali did an amazing job sharing the logistics and I had a complete blast doing the trial run with her. I could not have had a more positive experience with Cali Stott Artistry. My wedding planner recommended Cali to me when I was having trouble finding a fair priced hair and makeup artist who delivered perfect results. I am so happy my planner recommended Cali to me, because she was extremely kind, and responsive throughout the wedding planning process. Cali assigned Teri to do our makeup and Whitney to do our hair, and I am so thankful they were there for myself, mom and six bridesmaids on the wedding day. Not only are they super kind with positive personalities that you want around you the morning of your wedding, but they also care. Teri and Whitney made me feel incredible at my bridal trial and were there through all hiccups the month of the wedding. A few weeks before the wedding, my hairdresser took off WAY too many inches of hair, and Whitney was there to come up with solutions and find a new style that made me feel so beautiful. On the wedding day itself, I was full of (happy) tears, and somehow my makeup lasted through lots of crying at the first look, ceremony, and final private dance - I swear Teri puts a bit of magic in her makeup. They absolutely crushed it for my wedding party of 9 (plus me, plus two moms!!) and were an absolute joy to work with. At one point, my mother started crying (not over my look, over her own) because she was so overwhelmed with how good she looked. Jaleela and Whitney did an amazing job! I rarely ever wear more than mascara, and my bridesmaids wear little to know make-up as well. They made me feel stunning while still feeling like I looked like myself. My bridesmaids all looked beautiful as well, and Whitney executed each bridesmaid's hair flawlessly. I cannot recommend Cali Stott Hair & Makeup enough.

Cali Stott and her team were recommended to me by our wonderful wedding planner. I was nervous about finding a hair and makeup team that could strike the delicate balance I was looking for of having a special, bridal look without feeling like I don’t look like “myself.” Teri was our makeup artist, and Kath was our hair stylist for the wedding. Prior to the wedding, I had Teri do my hair and makeup for our engagement shoot, and then had another trial with both Teri and Kath to build my dream bridal look. I was so happy with my look each time. I wanted glowy, Korean-style makeup a bit more on the natural side. For my hair, I wanted romantic curls to match my romantic wedding dress. I did not want an updo but still needed a style that could hold my comb veil and hold up after wearing a traditional Vietnamese wedding hat. Wow… they really delivered. I felt so beautiful and didn’t really worry about the look falling apart at the end of the night. I didn’t even end up touching up my makeup at all because it still looked fantastic! Due to my tight wedding schedule and number of people needing their hair and makeup done, Cali even decided to have an early 5 am start to her day to help make some of my ladies beautiful before she headed to another wedding. We all had a wonderful time hanging out with Cali, Teri, and Kath, and the timeless looks are forever a part of our photographs and videos. They made everyone look amazing! My mom has always said how much she hated her own hair and makeup on her wedding day, so I was really pleased when she said she loved her look as well. Highly recommend Cali Stott and her team!!

I cannot recommend Cali and her team enough! I heard of Cali Stott Artistry through a friend that used her team back in 2019 for her wedding. I loved my hair & makeup so much then that I started following Cali on social media that day knowing I would want to use her once it was my turn. Fast forward to 2022 and Cali was the first vendor I booked. Everyone is professional, fun, and so personable! They are great at keeping everyone on schedule and truly listening to what you want for your look. At my bridal trial, I felt like I was talking to friends I had known forever between Cali, Kaitlyn, and Teri-Lyn. They made my bridal vision come to life with my hair & makeup and helped me feel my absolutely best on my wedding day! Kristie was our 3rd artist for the day and was such a good additional. They fit right in with your group and really try to get to know everyone on a personal level. All of them are extremely talented. I cannot thank you all enough for making myself, and all of my girls, feel so beautiful and comfortable for my wedding day. Truly the best team!

On my wedding day we had a group of 10, myself, my bridal party and Mothers Cali and Mira made sure each of us felt beautiful and confident with our hair and makeup before leaving. I appreciate that Cali takes the time to get to know each person and their individual styles.

I was very happy to find Cali Stott Hair & Makeup Artistry for my wedding day. Cali was super responsive, had great reviews/photos, and I considered her prices reasonable. I did a bridal hair and makeup trial about a month and a half before the wedding. Cali was super flexible about working around my schedule. The trial experience was great - she used my inspiration photos to come up with a beautiful look for my wedding day. I know natural glam is kind of the rage right now, but I really wanted something more bold glam/old Hollywood. I probably would've been okay with her kicking up the glam another couple notches, but Cali created a beautiful balance of glam and natural. Cali and Kaitlyn DeClerck did a great job on wedding day - they arrived on time, set up quickly, and packed up quickly. We ended up running about a half-hour behind. It wasn't the end of the world since we had built in extra time, but I do wish we had started a little earlier so we weren't as rushed when it came time to get dressed and leave. Not quite sure why we fell behind, but most of my bridesmaids had very long and thick hair, so that could've certainly been part of it and something I should've told the team upfront. Everyone looked beautiful - they did a great job on hair and makeup for everyone - me, the bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Overall I was extremely satisfied. Even though we got married in December, our wedding day ended up being 70 degrees and rainy. Likely due to a combination of humidity, sweat, and tears, my hair and makeup didn't last the whole day. Granted, these are things no one really had any control over (the weather, and the fact that I'm a crier). I had chosen a half-up, half-down curled hairstyle and my hair had gone pretty much totally flat by the time we got to the reception. Towards the end of the night I ended up pulling it back into a low ponytail. My makeup did an admirable job holding up against the elements as well (my eyes especially held up great), but my airbrush foundation was pretty much gone by dinner. Again, not really anything to be blamed on anyone but the weather. Thank you to Cali and Kaitlyn for helping make me and my friends and family feel beautiful on my wedding day!

I am so happy I chose Cali Stott Artistry for my wedding day glam team! Cali was so responsive to all of my emails and just a pure light to be around when I met her during my trial! She had assigned Kaitlyn and Jaleela as my wedding day hair & makeup artists, and they were an absolutely INCREDIBLE duo to have as our glam team this past October! Kaitlyn’s hairstyling skills are SO solid, mine and my ladies hair stayed the entire night! The curls, the volume, the hair pieces, EVERYTHING stayed so well! Jaleela’s makeup skills are astonishing, she was the best makeup artist I’ve EVER had to do my makeup. Even my girls all felt so beautiful with the ways she enhanced everybody’s natural beauty! Overall, I have seriously never felt more beautiful than the work Kaitlyn and Jaleela did on my dream wedding day! They are such uplifting women and so incredibly talented.

Kristie NAILED IT!!! I had a very complicated hair style I wanted for my wedding (and am VERY particular about my hair) and Kristie did an amazing job! Also loved my makeup! Kristie is not only amazing at her job but also is soooo much fun! Can’t imagine having a better person around for the day of! Kath did an awesome job as well on the bridesmaids hair and makeup! Highly recommend these ladies especially if you are a picky girl like me!

Call and her team are awesome! They did all of the hair and make up for my minimony in 2020 and for my reception in 2021! Was so impressed both times. The second time it poured all night but everyone’s hair and make up held up beautifully. Cali and her team are so easy to work with. She puts together a timeline for the day of and sends it to you well in advance, so everyone knows where to be and when which was super helpful for me because we had a lot of people having services done. Not everyone needed to be there super early to get ready, so it was great that we were able to plan around individual people’s time slots. They’re also so fun! I felt like I had three more friends getting ready with us because Cali, Danielle, and Erika fit into the group so well! I would definitely recommend hiring Cali Stott Hair & Makeup Artistry for your event!

There are not enough good things to say about Cali and her staff! I was referred to her by one of my bridesmaids and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I do not wear makeup often and do not style my hair regularly, so I felt intimidated about selecting these things for my wedding. Cali walked me through the process, personably and professionally. Cali and her team were great! They brought lots of fun energy and were very efficient. Everyone looked wonderful - they did a really great job with makeup and hair. (They didn't charge extra for lashes, which I guess some other artists do?). Bridesmaids who have gotten then hair & makeup done for many other weddings said that Cali & Co. was definitely top-notch! My one hurdle was that I felt like there wasn't much flexibility when developing our day-of schedule. That said, the timing worked out really well anyway, so it was fine in the end :)
