This was a great venue for our reception! Our guests loved exploring all the exhibits and loved having cocktail hour in the aquarium. All ages loved it! We got amazing photos on the roof too. But before you book, there are a few things you should keep in mind. They have a strict list of drink service vendors you can work with and wouldn’t budge on this list. There was only one vendor available who charged us an exorbitant amount and delivered sub-par service. Also, the room capacities listed on their website don’t account for a dance floor. Additionally, some rooms could have temporary exhibits that also limit the room capacity, so keep that in mind when you are planning.

The Academy did an amazing job of making our wedding incredible. The space is beautiful and needs very little extra décor. The addition of the live exhibits was appreciated by every guest, but especially the children. They were so flexible and kind through out this whole process and I am so so glad we decided to hold our reception here.
