This was for my 40th birthday. They arrived on-time were very professional and when I tell you California cook out not only met but they exceeded each and every expectation that I could have had the food was amazing. I got so many compliments and everyone is still raving about the food, the servers attentiveness, the hospitality. We enjoyed it all and I will definitely be booking them again for my future engagements they have a client for life.

Nathan and his team did an amazing job catering our wedding. The food was very delicious and our wedding guests loved it. We love a good barbecue so Nathan definitely brought that to the wedding. My favorite was the Santa Barbara salad and Tri-tip. Not only was the food great, but the service and staff were awesome. Thank you California Cookout!

The only thing better than their food is their service. We were 60 days away from our wedding when we postponed due to COVID-19. Nathan and Cal Cookout have exceeded our highest expectations by demonstrating excellent customer service including friendly professionalism, prompt communication, and flexible accommodations. We could rave about their easy booking process, value of affordable pricing, or the outstanding taste of their delicious tri-tip, savory vegetables, refreshing salad, and mouth-watering mashed potatoes; but the primary reason my fiance and I highly recommend Nathan and California Cookout for all of your catering needs; is because they have restored our optimism for our future wedding in 2021.

If you are looking for a caterer for any event, California Cookout is definitely the way to go. We initially reached out to him about catering our wedding and he invited us to one of his tastings. The food was absolutely delicious (uhm... they serve warm bread, how can you not go with them?). I would highly recommended going to one of the tastings. Nathan collaborates with other small business and we even found our wedding cake vendor through the tasting. He even let us come twice... to bring our parents and get the final stamp of approval! Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to postpone our May 2020 wedding, but they have been great about postponing our event. This is a + in my book, because I've heard sooo many stories from other brides about vendors not being communicative or flexible with them. We really appreciate how above and beyond Nathan has gone for us. This is a company we would love to use for events in the future. As far as the food, the menus have a lot of variety which is awesome. They are also very willing to work within your budget. We went with the tri-tip & grilled chicken (which are carved onsite during dinner service) and the upgraded sides. Nathan was very accommodating with food allergies/substitutions. We have a couple guests with nut allergies and he agreed that their salads would be served/dressed separately as the salad contained walnuts. In addition, we have some vegetarians in attendance and ordered a veggie lasagna as an add on. Overall, the value and quality of the food is spot on. It was very easy and straightforward to get a quote and book for the event. Communication has been great, and we truly appreciate the flexibility during this time. :)

My husband and I chose California Cookout to cater our wedding and we were very pleased with the quality of food and their service! Everything was ready on time and tasted delicious! Nathan and his team are very friendly and very helpful! My guest were pleased with the food as well, and told me all through out the night how much they loved it! Nathan even took the time to show my Mom how to use and prepare coffee, with the coffee machine at our venue and provided us with cups last minute when we realized we forgot ours! His customer service and friendliness exceeded our expectations and I would recommend him and his team to anyone!

We had to change our wedding plans due to financial set back and we’re unable to book, but still wanted to get the word out. From the first communication, California Cookout exceeded our expectations in responsiveness. We received an instant quote which was something the other companies just did not provide us and Nathan followed up with us to discuss the menu to come up with the perfect package for our Wedding. Their communication was professional and friendly and out of all of the companies we looked for, they quoted us the best price we could find. We will absolutely recommend them to others and look forward to having them as part of future events for us.
