Callan is a tremendous musician and a really good dude. He learned all the songs we asked for and performed them beautifully. He has an amazingly pure, "indie" folk sounding voice ...
and plays guitar very well. Callan also has extensive studio and live-sound experience, which allows him to troubleshoot any technical issues and switch things up on-the-fly as needed. And of course, he was very punctual and prepared day-of. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants a supremely talented and professional musician to bless their wedding or event!

able. He put the “icing” on the wedding cake when a family member asked him to play our song “River” by Leon Bridges. During his intermission he learned it in just minutes and then performed it to perfection. We were incredibly fortunate to have him with us, thank you Callan!

I told Callan of the type of music we wanted for the dinner and for the dancing and he nailed it. One of my cousins even said it was the best dance music he’s experienced at wedding, and I would agree.
Callan made our wedding dinner and dancing special. He knew how to feel out the vibe and keep it flowing, a critical skill.
Many musicians and DJ's can deliver an acceptable music experience for a wedding, but I wanted to ensure the pre-ceremony and ceremony music set the tone and matched the vibe of ou...
r venue (Hotel Emma). On a background of exposed brick and green vines, I pictured moving guitar renditions of our favorite country ballads, with a few non-traditional requests sprinkled in. I have known Callan for years and immediately asked for his help in bringing that vision to life. He was responsive and accommodating, even learning some songs he had not played before just for us! Callan also brought a PA system and microphones for the ceremony sound, which was extremely helpful and convenient! He arrived early to set everything up, looked professional, and beautifully played the music I can still hear in my head when I look at our ceremony photos. Callan has built his career around music, and that quality of experience and thoughtfulness cannot be replicated with cookie-cutter music vendors. As a plus, his rates are extremely fair and competitive. You won't regret booking Callan Brown Music for your wedding!
