Our wedding ended up being great. The discovery center is a gorgeous venue. It’s nice to have guests be able to stay onsite and the gardens offer so much for guests to do and see. ...
And everyone who works there was very friendly. However, communication with the venue/events team was really tough. We’d have to send multiple follow up emails, our questions often went unanswered or sort of dismissed, and we had to be proactive about everything. There was a lack of professionalism, which is disappointing when you’re paying so much. The wedding turned out lovely, but the interactions with the venue caused much more stress than there should have been. Would probably give 3.5, but rounding up because the venue is so lovely.
