She steamed the veil with her excellent, high quality steamer and ran back and forth between the wedding venue and the meal venue ensuring the place cards were in place, and the personalized wedding napkins were delivered and in position. Now, this wedding was immediate family only with designated seating for every attendee and a place card for every guest at the nearby wedding dinner. About 45 minutes before the wedding, I was introduced to a very nice person who also happened to be an unexpected and unplanned for extra guest. I slipped away and immediately turned this problem over to Callie, who organized it into oblivion while the rest of us were visiting before the wedding. I’m pretty sure the unexpected guest never realized they were a surprise, which is exactly as it should have been. If you think that your wedding is “too small” or “too simple” to need a DOC, you are wrong. The smaller the event, the more obvious any mistake or misunderstanding is, and the more difficult it is for a family member or a bridesmaid to “be family” or “be a bridesmaid” *and* solve the problem. A problem that can be solved is not a problem, and having that kind, gracious and helpful professional problem solver named Callie at hand is a relatively inexpensive insurance policy that every other more costly decision will be worth it and really enjoyed.

ded to reach to to Callie. She picked up on the first call (didn’t even go to voicemail) and greeted me with a happy hello! I explained to her that I was 3 weeks out from my wedding and was trying to decide if a DOC might be helpful. She was calm, reassuring, checked her calendar right then and said yep, I would love to help you. She went through the details of how she could help right there. And I promise you she was that accessible, prompt and helpful through the entire experience. She took over vendor communications flawlessly. I hadn’t figured out the processional or table configurations for the reception (which included flowers) yet. She had immediate options for both and talked me through them to help me decide. She came to the venue walk through and had every detail timelined. I sent several last min questions week of- what if it rains (I had to cross the street to my first look)? How should we display the groom’s cookies? What if my fiancé’s parents try to kill each other (first time together after a messy divorce)? And she came up with a game plan for them all. On my actual wedding day (6/3/21) one of the guests brought a plus one we didn’t know about. It was a 23 person wedding, so every seat was planned and anice several course dinner reserved. She must have just added a chair to the ceremony and reception and spoken with with right people. I was doing my first look when all of this happened, and I didn’t even know it has been an “issue” temporarily. She just smiled and handled it. You want someone like that on your team. Dependable, sweet, calm and able to create a plan when one needs to be created so you don’t have to worry about a thing. I can’t tell you how many people (including the waiter at our reception) said “wow, I don’t know where you found her, but she was amazing. Worth every penny!” And she absolutely was. There was a AV glitch at the reception I found out about the next day as well- why the next day? Because Callie had handled it. It truly was such a pleasure to work with her, and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

September 8th at The Springs Lodge in Aubrey, TX. Why I Hired Her Callie stood out to me amongst the other planners because she was immediate to answer my calls and made time for me at all hours of the day. I must mention that was an out of state bride so having someone like Callie was imperative to the success of my wedding. She went to my rental company several times to put different things together for me until I was happy (which was not an easy feat, I tend to change my mind a lot). She was always so patient and willing to do anything I wanted. I am so grateful for all her hard work and the dedication she showed to making sure my husband and I had the best day ever. Callie is honest which is another quality I love about her. As I mentioned I was an out of state bride so I actually met Callie when I flew in for the Bridal Garage Sale. She came to the garage sale with me and kept me grounded during the experience. I tend to get pulled into several directions so it was so great to have her there to tell me whether or not my purchases were smart and practical (I didn't want to spend unnecessary money on things that would go completely unnoticed). I had several meltdowns during the course of planning my wedding (I'm not the best at making decisions), the biggest one being 4 days before my wedding a groomsman tried to pull out and would basically screw up A LOT of details. Callie had to of answered 10 of my calls to talk me off the ledge just that 1 day. She always remained cool and collected and came up with solutions to every single bump in the road. She was personable and relatable and I felt less stressed after each phone call. The Day of my Wedding It was purely magical. Aside from my normal anxieties of the day, I didn't have to worry about ONE SINGLE THING. If something went wrong, I didn't know about it. She brought an assistant and together they made magic happen. She was literally everywhere at one time. Anytime I called upon her for something she was there with an answer within 2 minutes. Callie never told me no or that something wasn't really possible- she always found a way. For example I wasn't totally happy with my bouquet and she just knew, I didn't even really have to tell her. She told my florist and together they adjusted my bouquet to better fit my style. She made every single wish come to life and communicated flawlessly with all my vendors and family members to make sure everyone was where they should be. She even packed up a box full of cookies and popsicles from our reception to take with us in our getaway car which was such a nice surprise! I would 1000% recommend Callie as your wedding coordinator. I was the type of bride that didn't really see the point of a planner and didn't open myself up to one until 6 weeks out from the big day. If I could do over I would have hired her from the beginning. My wedding never in a million years would have run as smoothly if Callie wasn't there. I can't even IMAGINE what it would have been like without her.... She was THAT IMPORTANT to my wedding. Hire her and see for yourself!! xoxo, Jesika
