Callie is an incredibly gifted photographer, and she is an amazing human being who not only loves what she does, but she truly loves her clients too! My wife and daughter have followed Callie Riesling’s photography for several years, so we were all excited to connect with her when our daughter got engaged and began planning a wedding of her own. I couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to hire her for engagement and wedding photos! Callie is clearly a very talented photographer, but her passion and commitment to her work, as well as the personal connection she has formed with our family are really what makes her so extraordinary. Like so many people, our daughter and son-in-law love exploring the mountains of Colorado. As they were preparing for engagement photos, they talked with Callie about wanting to have engagement photos that captured their love of the outdoors. She suggested a perfect spot and met them before dawn one May morning to take their photos as the sun was rising over the nearby mountains. The resulting photos were incredible! As the wedding itself approached, we were in regular touch with Callie, and she used this time to get to know each member of our family and what we hoped for on our special day. On the day of the wedding, she spent more than 8 hours with our family, capturing everything from pre-ceremony preparations to the grand send-off at the end of the night. Because she had established such a wonderful relationship with all of us, we felt completely at ease that she would bring out our best in each photo. It was wonderful working with her. Bottom line: For us, Callie is much more than just a wedding photographer. She has become a good friend, and we are so, so happy for all that she contributed to our daughter’s wedding day! I'm a wedding coordinator who jumps for joy each time I get to work with Callie. She is a breath of fresh air in everything she does. And she is so very talented. Her galleries are some of my favorites to look at because of her creativity and love of going above and beyond. If there were more than 5 stars, Callie would get every single one of them. She took our expectations and blew them out of the water. On our wedding day, not only was she our photographer, but she was more like a best friend. She was with us the whole day, guiding our timeline, being our hype gal, helping bustle my dress, and fixing my hair… all while capturing the most magical day in the best way possible. We knew having a good photographer was important for helping us relive the day for years to come - but we also found a forever friend in the process. Callie is an amazing photographer and person! She is super creative and let's you have your input as well. She is great at editing after the engagement session and wedding and very quick at getting you sneak peek photos. I started following her years before my wedding and new for a very long time that she would be the first person I would call when I knew I was getting married. My husband and I felt incredibly confident being ourselves with her. She captured us 100% and you can actually hear us laughing through the photos is what our family and friends say. Our engagement session was a blast and our wedding was more than I could have imagined. When I think back to our wedding day, the couple of hours with Callie up in the mountains taking photos with the 3 of us plus our videographer was the highlight of my day. She really exceeded my expectations for a wedding photographer. We now have epic engagement and wedding photos that I am putting all over my house and will be something we keep forever. Callie is extremely professional as well; she kept track of timing, she took photos of a lot of our guests, and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. She is also an amazing person; her heart is huge and she truly cares for her couples and I think that is what makes it so special; that you get to know each other and really get your personality captured in the photos. Callie made me feel so confident that day and the most beautiful I have ever felt which is exactly how are you supposed to feel on your wedding day. Callie is AMAZING! She is very professional and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, not to mention her photos are STUNNING. I've followed Callie's work since the very beginning, waiting for my own opportunity to book her as my wedding photographer. When my husband and I got engaged, Callie was the first person I told. We booked our date and worked our entire wedding budget around having Callie as our photographer. Yes, she's worth all of that and more!! Callie's style and genuine love for her clients and is just unlike any other photographer I've ever come across, taking the time to truly see and understand you as a couple. She drove 8 hours round trip to our favorite camping spot in Crested Butte in the peak of wildflower season to shoot our engagement photos simply because it's where I had always dreamed of taking them. Not only did she endure insane Colorado weather (rain, sleet, hail, sun, repeat) for several hours, but our photos truly convey the goofy and adventurous personalities of me and my husband. We had a BLAST, and our memory of that day is filled with so much joy, laughter, and love. Being a 2020 bride was straight up stressful and heartbreaking, but Callie was worth more than her weight in gold for just how helpful and supportive she was throughout everything that was thrown at us. She checked in on me consistently and always asked if there were ways she could help. She encouraged me when I just didn't feel like I could handle one more COVID related wrench thrown at me, including bridesmaids suddenly not being able to attend at the last minute. Callie took time out of her very busy days to just listen to the hurt that COVID was sending our way that no one else could understand. She even helped me figure out my day of timeline for our wedding since I didn’t have a wedding planner and was found attaching our altar arrangement after it had been forgotten about. She trudged in and out of ravines with very slippery, wet leaves to get the perfect shot she had in mind, endured the freezing cold Tennessee weather without complaint, and even got out the mud from my train before our ceremony. Callie also edited candle flames back into our photos because she knew I had been bummed that the weather kept us from being able to light them for our reception. She blew my expectations out of the water with our wedding day photos, and I already had high expectations for them. Callie’s attention to the details that make beautiful photos is incredible, and her editing skills are unmatched. I love her eye for color. The forest we were married in on family property simply looks magical in our photos, which is exactly the way I have always seen it. Our photos are unlike any other wedding photos I’ve ever seen, our joy and our love for each other clearly evident in every single one. Callie’s goal was to make sure we had actual fun taking them, which meant lots of laughs and possibly a good couple of candid shots of us sticking out our tongues at each other. Ya, we are those people… Our engagement and wedding day photos are ones we will cherish forever, proudly and prominently displaying them everywhere in our home for the rest of our lives. I truly believe that Callie’s work is incredible because she wholeheartedly believes in the beauty of marriage and looks at her job as a photographer as the storyteller of the beginning of your marriage. I will always treasure the stunning photos and cherished memories we have because of Callie. Her work is perfection; her friendship absolutely priceless.

Callie is extraordinary in so many ways and you cannot go wrong with choosing her for your big day, event, or even family photos!! You name it she will make it happen. She is outstanding! First off, I don’t ever write reviews and second, I’m mad that it has taken me a literal month to write ours for the wedding because our team of vendors were the greatest!! We loved Callie so much and I’ve been a little in denial that it is all over!! Callie has changed our life! During our engagement session, I knew she was the perfect fit for us because we did snow angels together and she made my big burly man not look so awkward with photos and instead we all just had fun.This is huge because the bond we created with her from the beginning was phenomenal. She 100% supported us through all the chaos and planning moments leading up to the wedding and the day of. She always listened, offered to help or gave great suggestions, and gave us nonstop reassurance when things fell apart due to COVID and planning. Callie even helped me find a hair and makeup team after I had unsuccessful trials!! She even put her husband to work at helping us with small video clips since we couldn't have my Hubby's family there at the last minute; he was great too! She knows this business inside and out and will do her best to tailor whatever she can and give you that special day you've always dreamed of :) Callie is there for you --> the bride and the groom <-- she is there to make your day perfect and she without a doubt accomplished that for us. The day of the wedding we had a few major wrenches thrown our way and she handled them/me like a champ. Just to give you an example of how astounding she truly is, somehow she managed to capture play by play photos of red wine being spilled on my wedding dress; Callie had the bar and my girls already running for all the soda water so that by the time I walked off the dancefloor in complete laughter and shock everything we needed to get the wine out of the dress was there.....The best part is that it worked and Callie herself was on her knees pouring and blotting just like all my bridesmaids!! Honestly, she was my right hand man and my rock the day of the wedding. She filtered people to and from us if needed and put us at ease with any worries we had. Callie constantly asked what we needed or what she could do for us and truly made us both feel like we were all that mattered. She undoubtedly is priceless and worth every penny :) Now our photos, WOW, they are a whole other topic!!! I may be a little biased but they are BREATHTAKINGLY GORGEOUS, we both feel like we belong in a magazine! We cannot wait for all the others because the sneak peeks are fantastic. Callie had the timeline perfect for our outdoor winter wedding. We love how she captured all aspects of us and all the things that we love and what makes us who we are. And that makes the pictures even more perfect. We will forever cherish our new friendship with such an amazing human. We are also forever grateful for her and making all our wedding dreams a reality! As a fellow vendor, I can't say enough great things about Callie and the level of integrity she brings to her business. She truly cares about her couples and goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and taken care of, even if it means getting detail shots in 3 degree weather because that's where the lighting was best! Covid clearly has been hard on so many small businesses, as well as couples and Callie has worked hard to accommodate her couple's last minute changes, postponements, as well as new couples looing to book. She also has really great connections with other vendors who offer the same caliber of service to help you move through the process. Go ahead and stop your search, because Callie is the best of the best!

We recently did our engagement photos with Callie and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Callie goes the extra mile to capture YOU and YOUR energy, joy, love, laughter, silliness and sense of adventure that comes with this exciting time in life. Callie has a work ethic that my fiance and I find so inspiring and a creative mind that enables her to bring out the individuality in all of her clients. Callie drove several hours in the middle of winter to meet us at a rustic family cabin to take pictures in the snow. We did several different frames that ranged from messing around in our ski gear and running in the snow in our nice clothes to cozying up by the fire place in the cabin. Callie did such an incredible job capturing the raw and beautiful emotions and we had so much fun while doing it. Callie was also really great at telling us what to do in a way that made us feel confident and relaxed. Callie captured not only us and our sense of adventure in the snow, but also all of the little moments in between that really tell the story.

Callie was our photographer for our engagement photos, wedding ceremony in 2020, and upcoming wedding reception in 2021, and we could not be more impressed by her talent and professionalism. Planning and executing a wedding in 2020 during a pandemic was not easy, but Callie was honestly the bright spot of what was otherwise a stressful and confusing planning period! She was extremely flexible and understanding, and made navigating the 2020 ceremony/2021 reception seamless and as painless as it could be. She helped me map out photos I definitely wanted in 2020 versus ones I wanted to do only in 2021 during the reception portion, is an expert on the locations we chose to shoot our photos (both engagement and wedding) in Vail County and Summit County , and is an excellent communicator throughout the planning process. Callie has an intimate knowledge of Colorado and the most beautiful and pristine locations our gorgeous state has to offer. This is honestly SO valuable! She will provide recommendations, feedback/examples from past locations, and help you pick the perfect spot for your photos. She also will make you and your fiancé/spouse feel so comfortable and beautiful – we honestly had a BLAST during our sessions with Callie and still talk about how much fun we had. I could go on and on about how wonderful Callie is – but you really need to select her and find out for yourself – it will be the best wedding planning decision you make, I promise!

I don’t need to tell you what an amazing photographer Callie is – her photos speak for themselves. What brides really want to know is about the experience and let me assure you, Callie puts maximum effort into ensuring that your special day is a fantastic experience, even if it falls outside of her scope of duties. When my bridesmaids approached me to say they had some “bad news” about the best man’s attire (he ordered the wrong color tie), I watched Callie literally go into Mama Bear mode, physically putting herself between me and the girls to help provide a barrier should I fall into full-on meltdown. She was prepared to handle the situation and talk me off the ledge if need be. Fortunately for her, and everyone else, I was marrying my soulmate that day and wasn’t going to let an incorrect shade of blue interfere with that. I greatly appreciated in that moment that she was willing to do whatever it took to help me keep my eye on the prize. Later, when it came time for our First Look photos and I was set to go – hair, makeup, and dress on point, Callie went to collect my groom to head to the site. She came back to tell me that my darling soon-to-be husband was just now showering and wasn’t ready yet. I became irked at his typical tardiness and started to get concerned about time, not wanting our photos to get cut short. Callie eased my worries instantly, assuring me that she built in extra time to the schedule so we had plenty of opportunity to get all the photos we desired before the ceremony started. She played timekeeper on the groom, not rushing him, but making sure that there were no distractions that caused him to be further delayed (for the record, his groomsmen failed to keep him on schedule, despite all 5 of them having a printed copy. Ladies, choose someone RESPONSIBLE to keep your groom on time ;) ). Callie was right – we had more than enough time for her to capture beautiful mountainside photos of our first look and all the uncontained emotions that we had in that moment…..and for the rest of the day. When it was the end of her allotted time, she checked in with us to let us know that she was about to take off and wanted to be sure that we had gotten every photo that we asked for. We are grateful she did as there was one specific one that we had forgotten about that we wanted to include in our thank you cards. She didn’t have to do this. She could have left like the other vendors, without saying a word, but she didn’t. Our day was just as important to her as it was to us and it showed. The experience plays a factor into how your photos come out: if you’re stressed out ensuring you’re going to get all the ones you asked for or if time is of the essence, it will show in your photos and those aren’t the memories you want to have. You can let that go of all of that with Callie; she makes it her personal mission to do everything she can to contribute to this magical milestone. Your hopes, comfort, and happiness mean a lot to her and there’s no doubt that you won’t see how evident this is on your special day.

If you don’t read my whole review just know this, Callie is AMAZING! She’s the reason our wedding was able to happen, and I do not say that lightly! We couldn’t have asked for better photos, she captured the moment so perfectly!! Every time I look at our pictures I can feel the emotions and how special each moment was! She knows what she is doing and is worth every penny!! Not only did our wedding pictures come out stunning but Callie is one of the most sweet and caring people I have ever met! She was really flexible on date changes and possible venue changes. I encourage you to read what I’m about to post because it will give you a great idea of how wonderful she is and how she is so much more than just our photographer. I’m one of many covid brides which was a nightmare in itself but the hurdles that came with it were extra stressful! We were originally supposed to get married in July 2020 but come May we made the decision to postpone to September 2020. About six weeks before the wedding, we ALMOST postponed to 2021 mainly because our wedding planner was telling me if they saw anything they didn’t like or people breaking the “rules”, I.E people not social distancing or not wearing masks, that they may walk out on us, ON OUR WEDDING DAY. We were told that most of our current vendors at the time would do the same.. even though our wedding was almost entirely outdoors. (PS Callie was NOT one of these vendors)They were not really willing to budge much on anything. As a bride you can imagine that was a nightmare knowing I had a wedding team who could potentially ruin our entire day. Ironically, Callie had reached out to me right after I was told all of this and she came to the rescue. When I spoke to Callie about it she asked how she could help, and we went over options together and after everything said and done she was able to help me gather an entirely new team, 6 weeks out from the wedding, who understood our wants and needs to for the wedding, while still being able to do things responsibly and in a safe way! I told her what type of vendors I needed and she gave the best contacts! I was able to cut ties with several of my original vendors and get all new ones! I ended up with the most amazing wedding team, from our wedding planner Tresa Taysom from Always and Forever Weddings, our florist Cheri from Southern Charm Colorado, and our DJ Brian Hepperle from HespsDJ & Porta Party Photo Booth, and it was all thanks to Callie. So when I say she is the reason we were able to get married and have the wedding for our dreams, I mean it. I will forever be grateful for all the hard work she put in for us. She is SO much more than a photographer, she goes above and beyond for her clients in ways she would never be expected to! Obviously, I cannot say enough great things about her!

Callie was amazing. She captured our engagement and wedding photos with a professional and personal touch. I have never seen such love come through in photos before. Also on our wedding day she got photos from every angle like a photographer ninja, I was very impressed and satisfied with her work. I would hire her again in a heart beat, I’m so thankful we chose to have Callie document our special days as these memories are absolutely priceless.

Callie is simply the best, there are no other words for it! Planning a wedding in the midst of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic was stressful to say the least, and Callie was far and above the most accommodating, selfless vendor that we had. If I could give Callie 10 stars I would! She was so helpful, friendly, and understanding all through the disaster of 2020 and she has so many great insights on locations in Colorado, ideas for styles, etc. She really goes above and beyond in her editing too (ex. my hair stylist really messed up my color right before photos and Callie seriously took the time to go back and edit ALL of the beautiful photos to digitally edit my hair back to my natural color.) She made me feel so beautiful and myself, I can't recommend her enough!!

Callie is truly amazing and the most talented photographer. Our pictures are better than we could have ever imagined. She captured who we were as a couple with all the beautiful details around us. Her creativity, artistic spontaneity, and sharp technique are all impressive. She is a quick thinker and was much more than a person taking photos. She made us laugh and eased the wedding day jitters with her contagious positivity and enthusiasm. She did everything from helping me with putting my veil in to holding my hand on rocky parts of the walk to offering me a Gatorade when I was feeling dizzy. I can't describe how fantastic Callie was. As a person, she's spunky, talkative, and so sweet. As a photographer, she is extremely talented, an artist, and has an eye for perfection. Callie is beyond incredible! There could not be a more perfect photographer for Colorado couples. When I found her work years ago, I knew one day I would have to hire her for my wedding -- the pictures that drew me to her were an engagement shoot of a couple camping and I loved that the pictures not only highlighted an engagement, but also showcased what the couple really loved to do. My husband and I spend almost all of our free time dirt biking, that's even how we met! We are not the type of couple to pose for fancy photos, and Callie ran with the roots of who we are to take the most EPIC photos ever for our engagement and wedding. She even had us ride a dirt bike in our wedding clothes (seriously, coolest photos ever). On top of taking the best photos EVER, Callie also takes care of you. Throughout our planning process, she was quick to respond to e-mails or even text messages even if they were not photo related (she was the one to help me review my timeline and provide reassurance around COVID). On my wedding day, Callie was on the ground using dryer sheets to get the static out of my dress, she helped my mom bustle my dress, and she checked on me throughout the night to make sure I was ok. She started as a hire photographer and quickly is now a lifelong friend. Seriously, look no further and hire Callie -- I promise, you will love her and her work as much as I (and all of her other clients do). You won't regret it!

I still remember the first photo I ever saw by Callie Riesling Photography. I was scrolling through Facebook several years ago, when I came across a picture of a bride standing in the loft of a red barn with her veil beautifully flying out of the window. From that moment on I've followed Callie Riesling Photography and been in love with her work. When my (now) husband, Chris, and I got engaged a few years later, I contacted Callie right away. Our situation was a bit unique...we dreamed of eloping in Ireland! When I emailed Callie, she was just about as excited as we were about the idea of eloping in Ireland! She WANTED to come with us! She was as excited about coming to Ireland with us as we were to get married in Ireland! I knew from that first red barn picture that Callie was talented, but through working with her I realized that there was so much more to her than just raw talent. Callie is one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met . She has a way of making you comfortable during the sessions and capturing your personality and love for each other in such an incredibly genuine way. I had never taken professional photos before our engagement shoot and I was very worried that I would look incredibly awkward. That wasn't the case at all! I was blown away by the beautiful moments that Callie was able to capture. Fast forward to Irleand and our elopement and everything was perfection. It was just us, the officiant, and Callie. Callie was a great support on our wedding day...she even helped me get ready and we finished the day having dinner together at a local Irish pub! The day was one we will remember forever and Callie played a pivotal role. The next morning, Chris and I woke up sick and Callie stopped by our Air BnB to drop off some American medicine for us! Talk about truly caring about your clients! I could go on forever (looks like I already have 🤣). Just know this, hiring Callie Riesling Photography was the BEST decision we made for our wedding day (besides marrying each other. Haha). I can confidently say that I would happily pay Callie twice as much as we did to receive the excellent customer service and beautiful photos she provided! I'll start by saying that Callie Riesling Photography far exceeded my expectations in every way. Callie is a true artist, and I never truly appreciated the art of photography until I met her during our engagement photoshoot. She trekked around the mountains carrying all her photography gear and never lost the smile on her face. My wife and I eloped to Ireland for our wedding and Callie flew out to meet us there. I've never met anyone so happy and chipper after such a long flight, but that's just her nature. Being an elopement, we didn't have the luxury of a large wedding party to help get ready, but Callie never hesitated and rolled up her sleeves to contribute in any way she could. She trekked around the hills and lakes all over Eastern Ireland and we all had a blast. Never once did we feel like Callie was just there to take our photo, she was absolutely a part of our wedding. I'm the guy that usually hates getting my picture taken, but her intoxicating personality and sense of humor made it easy to smile for the camera because I couldn't stop laughing. She is a true artist, and her creativity is indescribable. Just look at her photos! She even took a drone out of her backpack and took it up to 600 feet to get the landscape around us too! Unbelievable! Always on time, always well dressed, always having a blast. There are not enough good things I could say about my experiences with Callie.

Callie was completely amazing and our wedding pictures are more than we ever expected. She is very professional but also so personable and friendly. The shots she got were better than the ones I had dreamed of. Our day wouldn't have been the same withour her and we are forever thankful!

Callie made us PHOTOGENIC! 🙌🏽 She was willing to drive hours to meet us while we spent my 25th birthday camping and hiking in Colorado. Even with a dog she was able to capture beautiful pictures that looked so natural and in the moment. She also photographed us on my birthday so it was extra special! My wife has known Callie since she took her senior pictures in high school, and always showed me a picture here or there that she took and saw through social media. I am typically reserved and camera shy, so I was a little nervous when the time came for our engagement pictures. But Callie has a way of making you feel comfortable and the pictures come naturally! At the wedding she did a great job with time management and fitting in all our family shots while also giving us time to enjoy ourselves as well. Callie is such a fun person to have around and I would not have rather had anyone else do our engagement and wedding photos!

Callie is absolutely wonderful! We are getting married in Vail this December, and I'm already dreaming about the pictures she's going to take!!! How many photographers drive 18 hours to the middle of nowhere Mississippi to take engagement photos? ..... yeah only CALLIE! We have received our teasers for our engagement session and I'm head over heels for them!!! I'm super picky when it comes to photos, but Callie is not only patient, but assures me with the amount of photos she takes, there will be enough that I will LOVE! (I don't doubt her for a second- she's that good!) When it comes to your special day and events leading up, it can be hard not to feel like a ball of stress. However, Callie brings light to everything (not just the pictures :D) and does whatever she can to help step in with the big day. If I could give her 6 starts I would... I'll report back after Vail. :)

We are SO happy with Callie. From the beginning, I knew she was the photographer we wanted to work with. But we did due diligence and got quotes from 10+ other photographers. Callie had worked at our venue a lot (Crooked Willow Farms) so that was super helpful too. Our adventure engagement shoot was STUNNING, she was able to incorporate 3 types of pictures into two hours (hunting, fishing, camping) and they were perfect for us. Then comes our wedding day and we have a torrential downpour and 45 minute delay, and Callie stepped UP in all ways possible (way more than just a photographer). She worked as a coordinator, carrying my train & veil, communicating with groom & family, etc. Our coordinator was great, don't get me wrong, but will everything that was going wrong she needed help. And Callie was there to do it! We were super rushed due to the delay so I did step in and rush through family pictures (probably a mistake on my part) but she was super willing to work with us for whatever we needed. We've only received 5 pictures (sneak peek) but are already super happy with them! We are SO excited to get all of the pictures back. We went with the 8 hour package and I'm super happy we did, I think the getting ready pictures then all the reception pictures will be super fun. The entire wedding planning process Callie was helpful with recommendations, emails, etc. Keep in mind she is BUSY AF so she may not respond right away, but that's a good sign! People are hiring her! She is super happy & positive to be around, very talkative & likeable, and took charge when she needed to. Overall we would 100% choose her again.

We were lucky enough to hire Callie for our engagement session and DC wedding (...okay Arlington wedding...). Personally, I was a bit nervous our Catholic wedding in a concrete jungle wouldn't be as adventurous compared to some of Callie's portfolio. Callie travels the world as a wedding photographer and is known for the breathtaking backdrops and glamorous wedding shots. Ours needed a bit of creativity to find something other than sidewalks full of tourists (which she’ll just edit out, cause she’s that good..). Ahead of our engagement sessions Callie (not from the DC area) found and suggested a beautiful location for our session. During our first session together, she made us feel comfortable and relaxed and showed us exactly how to pose. Going into our wedding day, we were basically pros (highly recommend an engagement session if you can!) Heading into our wedding, Callie was responsive, flexible (beyond words…keep reading) and easy going. She knew exactly what she was doing, provided her advice, and encouraged us get the photos WE wanted. Callie’s photos speak for themselves, but what a photo won’t tell you about Callie is that she truly cares about capturing her clients’ special day. When Callie’s flight was canceled due to weather in the Midwest, Callie packed a car and drove the 1,600 miles way to make it in time for our day (bless her heart for not telling me until she made it!!!!!!!). Day of, Callie ran the [photo] show and made things so stress-free for us. We were concerned about how much time we had to take photos before the reception, Callie assured me we’d get the shots even if we only had 10 mins…and that she did!! I literally could not imagine working with anyone else. Her prices are extremely competitive, especially for the area I live in and her work is incomparable. She’ll work around your vision and you will not be disappointed in the photos you get!

Working with Callie was an absolute pleasure! From engagement photos to wedding reception, Callie did the most beautiful job capturing our love story. Callie is incredible and the absolute sweetest! I contacted Callie after researching photographers in the area when I was helping my son plan a surprise marriage proposal this summer. Initially, he only knew that he wanted to do it here in Colorado, his home state- but as he is now resides in Iowa he had to plan it all out remotely with some help from mom! I absolutely loved having Callie as our photographer! She made sure my wedding day was stress free when it came to the pictures, and she's very friendly and professional about her work, and she makes you feel like family when you're with her. She even made my husband who hates being in pictures (I'm sure a lot of brides can relate) look natural and carefree. She was able to make them fun and enjoyable. Callie recently did our engagement photos and we could not be happier! We had initially decided to go with Callie for her artistic style and the packages she offered. She was willing to do an "adventure session" with us that had her driving 4+ hours into the mountains. Then a 3 hour hiking photo session. Callie did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and they are absolutely stunning! One of the best photographers I have worked with, who makes taking pictures a lot of fun (as someone who is not a fan). She comes up with some of the coolest ideas and locations for pictures which was great because we had no idea what to do and she planned it all out for us and all we had to do was show up. During the wedding, Callie did a great job getting all of the family members involved and even got some of the more stubborn people and kids smiling and laughing. I can’t say enough great things about Callie and her devotion to her clients. A couple months ago, Callie met my fiancé and I deep in the Rocky Mountains at 5 a.m. She braved the cold morning air and frigid water temps to get us the PERFECT paddlebord shot. It’s hard to pick a favorite picture because they all turned out so well!!

I booked Callie Riesling Photography because I knew people from high school who had used them and I loved their style of photography! Little did I know Callie actually went to middle school with my older brother and her brother played baseball with my twin brother! Small world. At the beginning, communication lagged. She was going through some personal stuff and we had some issues receiving each others emails. It took a little while to get my engagement session booked partly because of communication but also because I was living 5 hours away. Once we got them scheduled she gave me her cell phone number in case I needed to contact her. From that moment on communication was a lot better. I only used her phone number when it was urgent and once we got our emails on track it went well for sending documents to her. I was able to send her a list of photo combinations and she asked if could add the names of people on the list. She knows what she is doing because getting family photos would have taken a lot longer and been a lot crazier if she didn't ask for that. I also sent her the wedding day timeline and she came prepared with the timeline and the photo combinations list. Callie and her assistant are amazing at what they do! While they are busy people the photographs taken show that they truly care about their clients. I had an outside Colorado wedding in the middle of September and while I was told it wouldn't rain in Sept. it did but thankfully about 5 minutes after the ceremony and the reception was inside. Callie embraced the Colorado fall mountain weather and suggested even though we would get really wet she thought we could get some awesome photos of the bride and groom in the rain if we were up for it. So we did it! It was so worth it and so much fun. From the pictures we have seen so far, they have turned out great! I truly believe that having a photographer that understands the client's personalities and hobbies will make the day and pictures so much better. She is not afraid of adventure and embraces things to get the quality of photographs her and the client expect and want. I highly recommend Callie Riesling Photography!

We loved working with Callie! From our very first conversation she was energetic and got me so excited for our shoot! She took us to the most perfect spot in Colorado Springs overlooking the mountains with a great view of Pikes Peak! She had some super cute poses ready for us! But I also loved how she captured some candids as I did things like touched up my lipstick or while Jordan chopped firewood or when we shared a laugh that we didn’t think she caught! I’ll admit, I was drawn toward Callie for probably the wrong reasons (my dog is named Callie), but it ended up being the best decision of the wedding. Being out of state, I didn’t have the chance to meet Callie until the morning of the wedding… you can imagine how nerve-wracking that can be. The moment I met her, she instantly made me feel comfortable and RELAXED. From start to finish, she was just amazing. She catered to our every need and got us to do shots and ideas we would have never thought of. She went above and beyond with the photos she got for us. They were all sooooooo amazing, far more than we could have ever asked for. It’s been so much fun looking back through the pictures and the day she has captured for us. To top it all off, we truly felt we ended our wedding day with a new friend. We absolutely love Callie and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone.
