Calluna Fine Flowers

We used Calluna Fine Flowers for our May 2019 wedding at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm in South Berwick. Heather was wonderful to work with from day one. She had some great recommendations for us during our first meeting at her shop, especially for a couple like us who really didn’t know what we actually wanted for flowers. We went with all her recommendations and everything turned out better than we ever imagined! We were shocked how enormous and full the bride’s bouquet was and we were thrilled with how well the mantel arrangements and centerpieces blended with and accented the venue. Heather’s flower expertise was a huge asset to planning our special day and would highly recommend to other couples in the southern Maine area!

Heather was absolutely amazing to work with. We got married in November and had an outdoor wedding. Heather helped take my vision and make it a reality. She even incorporated burgundy peonies which I had never seen before and they were so beautiful. From our gorgeous arbor florals to the aisle jars and bridal bouquets everything was amazing and beyond my expectations. Beyond amazing is how I would describe Calluna Fine Flowers & Gifts (and Heather). I used Calluna Fine Flowers & Gifts for the flowers (both ceremony and reception), bouquets, boutonniere, and centerpieces for my wedding day in September, 2017. Not only were the flowers, the set up, and the centerpieces beautiful, the customer service is out of this world! A member of our wedding party, our ring bearer, is autistic. This was a concern of mine because he is sensitive to certain smells and textures and I was hoping for an alternative to using a pin that is customary for the boutonniere. As soon as I mentioned my concerns to Heather, Heather immediately threw out a bunch of different ideas to address each and every concern I had; all of them being great solutions. Moreover, I wanted to remember my grandparents who could not be there in person. Again, Heather was extremely accommodating. Throughout the whole process, Heather was in contact with me - touching in when something was needed and responding quickly whenever I had a question. Simply stated - if you want beautiful arrangements, gorgeous bouquets, Calluna Fine Flowers & Gifts is your vendor. I gave Heather my color scheme and she painted the best picture and made it come to life on the day of our wedding. She integrated every one of my requests seamlessly. Set up was done to perfection. I did not have to worry about anything; even with having a first look. I would not hesitate to recommend Heather and Calluna Fine Flowers & Gifts.

My husband and I were married in Kennebunkport in early August. We absolutely loved working with Heather at Calluna. She is super friendly, easy to work with and very knowledgeable. She listened to what I wanted in a color scheme and made flower suggestions at all price points. When it was a bit impractical for me to have peonies in August, she was able to suggest a type of rose as an alternative. We are beyond pleased with Heather's work and highly recommend her to any future bride and grooms. We look forward to stopping in the shop when we visit Ogunquit next!

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous for our wedding!! Heather was so great to work with. I didn't really know what I wanted and she quickly grabbed some flowers in her shop to give me ideas. We could not have been happier with the floral arrangements Heather and her team at Calluna Fine Flowers created for our wedding. We originally went with Calluna because my aunt gets ALL of her arrangements from them, now I can see why!! So many of our guests came up to us to comment on how beautiful the flowers were! Heather captured perfectly the look and feel we were going for - organic, vintage, seasonal, elegant arrangements. We were planning our wedding from Oregon, and Heather took the time to meet with us during the 4th of July weekend when we were in Maine to walk us through some options. She was always available via email and phone throughout the summer to talk as our ideas crystallized, and she was so flexible - incorporating vases that we found online and wanted included and making some last-minute changes based on some ideas we had. (Adding tied arrangements to the aisle chairs for the ceremony - which came out incredible!) Throughout the process, she kept us informed of how our estimate would change so we could track costs. When we dropped off our vases a few days before the wedding, she assured us that everything would be great (which it was!) We had a fantastic experience with Heather from start to finish and would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the area. Our flowers were AMAZING!

I worked with Heather at Calluna just a few weeks before the wedding. She captured my style with the bouquet very well. I'm not a girly girl, so having a girly bouquet would not have been my style. She focused on texture and color and I ended up with a fun and funky bouquet that still managed to look pretty traditional. She had a great plan for keeping costs down, so we managed to spend just about $1000 on flowers, including my bouquet, flowers for the top of the cake, greens and flowers on an arch, and I think about 24 centerpieces. She was very accommodating and willing to work around odd requests (couldn't use real starfish and sand dollars due to a marine biologist & activist coming to the wedding). Would have preferred that she decorate the arch for the ceremony before setting up the reception site (we weren't sure she was going to make it in time), but it was an unnecessary worry as she had the whole thing under control. Her store that she bases her flowers out of is really cute as well - I will return just to shop!

Heather at Calluna did the most amazing job with my flowers. I told her the type of flowers I liked and she just ran with it. The colors were perfect and the flowers so fresh! My centerpieces, bouquets were exactly what I pictured. I had all the bouquets and centerpieces all over my house for almost 4 weeks after the wedding! I still even have one calla lily in a vase, still alive from 2 months ago!!!! She was so easy to work with, easily accessible, and reasonably priced. She truly works so hard to make the day everything you want! I would not hesitate to recommend her to do your wedding! She's the best!
