Cameron Carson and her team are such fun and talented humans! I am SO glad they were recommended to me because the whole experience was so amazing from start to finish. Cameron is such an amazing person to work with because she's so bubbly and she infuses happiness and light and color into every interaction. She's also incredibly knowledgeable and confident with her work. On top of that, she has worked hard to surround herself with a team that has the same energy and work ethic. I had 7 bridesmaids and 2 moms that were having hair and makeup done the day of the wedding. It was a long day getting ready, but the whole team didn't bat an eye - they maintained smiles and high energy throughout everything. I have gotten compliments from every bridesmaid and mom about how efficient Cameron and her team were. They listened to what each individual wanted and catered to everyone's needs flawlessly. As for me, I was a complete basket case with nerves the day of. Cameron and her hairstylist, Amanda, were INCREDIBLE at both distracting me and calming me down. I really cannot say enough good about this team. Our pictures speak for themselves. My bridesmaids and the moms were complete smoke shows. And it all lasted the whole night! It was a humid June day with an outdoor ceremony and a pretty sweaty indoor dance floor. Everyone looked amazing all the way through the bubble exit at 11 PM. Their work and personalities speak for themselves - we were all so in love with our experience. If you're on the fence and reading this review, pull the trigger - you won't regret it! And let’s just say I booked Cameron Carson to do our makeup BEFORE I booked our venue because I would of changed my date if she wasn’t available because she is THAT GOOD!! Cameron was so great, she asked me what I like most (bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, etc.) and then took it from there. She confirmed that I liked everything at the trial and asked if I wanted to change anything so she knew what to do on the wedding day. She helped me figure out what the best look for me was and all of my bridesmaids and mom loved their makeup as well!

Wow, working with Cameron was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself and my wedding party. She was so funny and bubbly, that it really took away all of our nervousness for the upcoming moments. Cameron was perfect in every way! My makeup looked absolutely flawless. She listened to what I wanted (natural looking makeup that made my eyes pop) and it was better than I could’ve imagined. f you are looking for wedding makeup for you and your gals look no further! Cameron is the best of the best when it comes to wedding makeup in the VA area! Before the wedding, my videographer was going over the timeline with me and told me to be prepared the hair and makeup always run later than they are supposed to. When I told him I had Cameron doing our makeup, he said, "Oh, you booked Cameron?! Well never mind, she will definitely have you all done in time. She's the best of the best!" And that she was! Cameron pays such attention to detail and makes sure that every bridesmaid and myself got our makeup done exactly how we wanted it! She made us feel absolutely beautiful! Cameron brings the vibes when it comes to getting ready! Shes so positive and just fits right in. She honestly felt like an additional bridesmaid!

My wedding makeup was absolutely beautiful. Cameron saw a picture of my dress and instantly had a vision for my makeup, which was exactly what I was imagining. Amanda styled my hair in a low bun with some amazing details (twist, curls, hair pin) which could NOT have been more perfect. Cameron is a ray of sunshine! I’m not sure I’ve ever met a sweeter, bubbly and friendly person than her! She is super professional but a whole lot of fun while you are getting all glammed up! She did my engagement picture make up, a bridal trial (also used for bridal portraits pictures) and my wedding day make up along with 4 bridesmaids! Every time my make up looked amazing and stayed on ALL day without any problems! I’ll always recommend Cameron to any friends and family, I can’t wait to go back to her someday! ☺️

If you’re looking for the best then you’ve found the one! Cameron is absolutely amazing and I cannot say enough positive things about her and her work. I booked our wedding venue based on when SHE was available because she was the most important person to me on my wedding day! The spray tan with her was very natural and mine and the bridesmaids makeup was perfect. It stayed on for 15+ hours and I have never felt so beautiful!

Working with Cameron was absolutely amazing! For my first wedding date she was booked and I was so upset, but we had to move the wedding because of Covid and she was available and I was so excited- and rightfully so! From working with her on my trial for my rehearsal dinner to working with her the day of the wedding- she was so professional and FUN! My bridesmaids and I all got makeup done and we looked fabulous! I absolutely would work with her again and highly recommend that you use her too!

Cameron was one of the best decisions "we" made for our wedding day. Having your makeup done professionally is a must (IMHO) especially if you want your makeup to pop in your photos. If you are spending any money on a photographer you will want to factor in an amazing makeup artist. Cameron is your GO TO. She is the full package. She will make you look like you, but more you. The January 1st you! The glam you (if you want glam.) On top of that, she is so down to earth and works well with your other vendors. Cameron made my girls (including my mom and MIL) look and feel amazing. My mom was so worried about having foundation on her face (she thinks it's "cakey.") Anyway, of course I tried to assure her and show her pictures but nothing worked until Cameron explained it to her. She was so patient and kind. My mom looked amazing and loved having her makeup done. Having a "COVID" wedding was so stressful but Cameron put everyone at ease and did it in style. I can't say enough about her professionalism, kindness, and sheer talent!

I used Cameron for our wedding for makeup and spray tans for all the girls! I never even looked at other makeup artists in the area because I knew what Cameron was about and just had to have her! I’ve had professional makeup done many times and I was never satisfied. You can fully trust Cameron to do her thing and she kills it every time! My bridal party sent me selfies of their makeup the next day because they were all so obsessed! She makes you feel perfect and it’s so flawless! It will last through a hurricane! I’ve never had makeup show up so well in photos! She is also the only person who spray tans me now! I’ve tried every tanning product and salon and hers are the most natural! She was incredibly flexible in scheduling our make-up trial and spray tan appointments (given COVID). She is very responsive to questions and adjustments. One of the best things about Cameron, other than her amazing natural talent and eye for what looks good, is that she is a fantastic listener. She understands that you wedding day is about you and only wants you to be happy with your final look. She does not push her opinions on you and really listens to what you want and are looking for. If there was another star to offer I would give it to Cameron & her team! Cameron did my makeup for my bridal shower, boudoir session, and my wedding. Her makeup stays on point the entire event. When looking for a makeup artist it was important to find someone who can do Kardashian Glam or the soft and natural look. Cameron can do it all!! Amanda also is amazing and did my hair for the shower, boudoir, & rehearsal dinner. I can’t express enough how much you need these girls on your wedding team! I also had my wedding party get spray tans from her which were perfect! No orange skin issues in our photos. You can’t find anyone better to add to your team!

I originally met Cameron when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and the one thing I knew when I started wedding planning was that she was the first person I needed to call! My makeup was FLAWLESS. I don’t wear much makeup so she made sure I had a natural look and really listened to what I wanted. I also got my spray tan from her and now only go to HER for spray tans. They look perfect every time, have never had an orange look and never splotchy. She was so much fun to work with the day of (even offered a packet of ranch dressing for the chicken nuggets I brought- always prepared 😂). Long story short, book Cameron, she is the BEST.

Cameron was AMAZING! She is kind, bubbly, and PROFESSIONAL! I was married in August and she was right on time to get my bridesmaids and I all ready! Cameron is amazing! Can’t say enough good things about her! She is super talented, super sweet, and great to work with. She did makeup for my bridal portraits and for me and bridal party on my wedding day. I had airbrush makeup with lashes for both and she did an amazing job! My makeup and lashes stayed put until I went to wash my face that night, my face never got shiny and makeup stayed put even after a few tears during the ceremony. She also does spray tans. I had never had anyone spray me before, always did mystic tan when I did get a spray tan and I was never happy with them-tan was always “orangey” and streaky. I got three spray tans from Cameron and they all looked amazing, nowhere near orange and never streaky. I am so happy that I found her! She definitely will not disappoint!

After the trail, she noticed that some of the products that she used weren't working the way she was hoping for my skin and she had me come back for another trial after doing some research to ensure that we didn't have those issues on wedding day. I felt absolutely radiant on my wedding day and could not be more grateful to Cameron not only for that, but making the whole process (and wedding morning!) so much fun!

Cameron was recommended to me by my sister-in-law/MOH and I am SO thankful she was. Cameron ended up doing my makeup, a few of my bridesmaids and my mom's for my September 2017 wedding and she did an AWESOME job! I was able to show her a few pictures of kinda what I was thinking and she hit the nail on the head. I decided to go with the airbrush application and I loved it! I feel like my skin tones aren't that great (meaning not that even), but she made my foundation look so smooth and natural. Also, it pretty much rained my entire wedding day and having my makeup done in the morning (we did some photos before the ceremony) made me a little nervous that my makeup wouldn't look as great for when I walked down the aisle, but I think when I got back to the hotel at the end of the night, my makeup looked almost as if it was just applied. If you do a quick google search, it's easy to learn that Cameron's one of the best, if not THE best, in the business, but something those reviews might not tell you is that in addition to being the best makeup artist and very professional, she's also just super fun. I live in California but got married in Richmond and the morning of my makeup trial I realized I had mixed up the locations (whoops!) and didn't have a car to drive where I was supposed to be. Cameron completely changed her plans to accommodate my oversight and drove all the way to where I was that afternoon to do my makeup trial. She's just extremely professional and I couldn't be more thankful for her. On a personal note, my morning-of was a bit (or actually REALLY) stressful and Cameron was just a breath of fresh air and just fun to be around. If I lived in VA, I would want to hang out with her all the time because she's hilarious. Clearly, I can't recommend Cameron enough or say enough great things about her.

Cameron provided make-up services to my bridesmaids and me for my May 2017 wedding and we couldn’t be happier with her work! She has quite a range and can do looks that are really glam or perfectly natural. I usually don’t wear a ton of make-up on a day-to-day basis, and Cameron helped me find a look that felt comfortable and true to me. My bridal party and I had a pretty long wedding day and our make-up looked great and stayed put throughout the ceremony and reception. Cameron is very talented and clearly loves what she does – I would definitely recommend her!

Cameron did an AMAZING job on myself and my bridesmaids. Many of the guests commented on how "glowing" all of the girls looked. It was a hot day, and an outdoor wedding, so we all opted for her airbrush makeup, and man did it hold up! I am incredibly picky & super critical when it comes to makeup. I always do my own because no one else has ever done it to my liking. I almost settled on doing my own for my wedding day because I was nervous I wouldn't find anyone to do it the way I like. Cameron came through 100%! I loved the way I looked on my wedding day and if I ever need my makeup done for another event, I'll be sure to use Cam!
