I suddenly found myself a bride-to-be -- who had never even conceived having a REAL wedding -- frantically calling venues for a 200-person guest list right at the start of wedding season. Right away, when Rachel at Camas Meadows picked up the phone, I knew this would be our venue. She and her team were so incredibly professional and understanding about our situation. I would have never wanted to work with me (to recap: time crunch, clueless bride, huge invite list), but Rachel made me and my husband feel so special and heard in every aspect of planning. She walked us through everything, explained the cost and budgeting (WOW, these things are expensive), and went out of her way to add thoughtful, personal touches. This attention to detail and thoughtfulness extended to the day of the wedding itself. The venue was immaculately decorated, the staff so helpful, and the "getting ready" spaces stocked with last-minute items I didn't even know I'd need. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to our guests at the reception, going above and beyond. The food? Delicious. The decor? Amazing. The beautiful golf course? Picturesque. Truthfully, my husband and I kept waiting for something to go wrong, because we felt there was no way everyone could actually be having that good a time. So many of our guests told us something along the lines of "this is the best wedding I've ever been to; I can't believe they only had a month to put this together"! I might still not know a lot about weddings, but I know I could never have dreamed up the day my husband and I had without Rachel and the whole Camas Meadows team. If you're looking to have a wedding in the greater Portland/Vancouver area, I beg you, look no further.

eir price is so reasonable, the food was amazing, their staff was spectacular, and it was beautiful. Camas Meadows is gorgeous between April - September but it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL in November. I can't believe how beautiful it is year round. Our wedding was so perfect and without Camas Meadows, Rachael, and Chef... it would not have been remotely close to what we wanted. I cannot say how grateful we are for Camas Meadows!! So so glad we didn't go to Abernethy like we were planning 😂

ve the sound of that) and I had been to several weddings at various venues where the catering companies were unprepared, bathrooms were no where to be found, food ran short, bars ran dry, no room for dancing, etc. Camas Meadows? They have all of that COVERED! The only thing I needed to worry about as a bride was the weather - honestly, that was the only thing (and it turned out being gorgeous!). Rachael Grenier, the wedding coordinator, is amazing - we honestly couldn't have done it without her. She had Plans A & B lined up (weather permitting for Plan B) and made sure everything would run smoothly (the walk-through for rehearsal, the decoration placements for the reception, the way the napkins were folded, a golf cart available for older guests, full range to the course for wedding photos...the list goes on and on!!). This venue made everything as smooth as possible from day one to our big day. This may sound corny, but if you are looking for a venue that wants to make your visions come true without feeling like a worry wart? Look no further!!

The staff went out of their way to save our falling cake and I am so grateful to Carrie who stepped right in and saved the day. The tent was breathtakingly beautiful and everything I wanted it to be. I highly recommend this place for any party, or event you are planning.

t everything worked out on the day of. The food was delicious, and everything was an excellent value for the price.

ut fall rain hit a week before our big day. The indoor ceremony site ended up better than I thought, with a large picture window that gave us the back drop of the golf course. The reception tent was spacious and comfortable for our guest to mingle. It was quite chilly though and our guest had to turn to wearing their large winter jackets. We were told that the 2 heaters for the tent would be plenty to keep the space warm but I found many of my guest and myself hoovering around the heaters to get warm. The food we selected for dinner was outstanding. The steak and peppercorn chicken was perfect, nice and juicy! We also had the grilled asparagus, roasted potatoes and strawberry spinach salad. All delicious. We received several compliments from our guest. We brought in our own kegs because even their Coors light kegs were pretty expensive. We saved money by bringing in our own even with their tapping fee. The only complaint I would have, besides the heaters not being enough, is the shut down of our reception. My husband and I were told that if people were still enjoying themselves we could tack on another hour for $250 to keep the party going. Next thing I knew, while out on the dance floor, our DJ called out for the last dance because someone from the venue told him it was time to shut down. At no time was I approached, my husband or my parents, to see if we wanted to add more time. I feel like there should have been communication to us if we wanted to keep the party going. Unfortunately I did not find out about this til a few days after our wedding. It was a great place to celebrate our wedding even though the NW weather couldn't hold out for us. The most important things to us were food quality and scenery and we definitely got both.

food was outstanding. Overall I would say I was happy with the venue. My major complaint would be about the coordination. From the beginning of our planning process, we were made to believe the venue would provide us with virtually anything we needed from a coordination standpoint. I was never once contacted by Rachael prior to the wedding unless she needed money from me and on the day of the wedding, much of the set-up was left for me and my bridal party to do. When I did ask for help on simple tasks like putting rose petals down the aisle and setting name cards on a table I was told that "they don't do that". Even when it came to getting the ceremony started, she did nothing. Thankfully, our pastor and one of the groomsmen coordinated everything. Following the wedding, we had a billing conflict with Rachael as well. One member of the staff told us multiple times we would be refunded for the entire keg of beer we didn't drink. Rachael then refused the refund and was quite rude to me through the entire process. Overall I guess I would recommend Camas Meadows to other brides because the venue was gorgeous and the food and service with quite good. I would tell you not to expect anything from Rachael as a coordinator. Either hire someone else or know you will be doing everything on your own the day of the wedding.

every bug on the golf course goes to the nice warm tent where they can find food at night) And it was SO worth having ac so our cake (and guests!) didn't melt. After looking at several venues we chose this one because of how gorgeous...and clean...it was here. Plus all of the set up and tear down was included in the price, which was great so we could spend time with everyone who came! And their kitchen catered the meal so there was no extra headache of figuring that out. It was difficult to keep in contact with the coordinator there though. And the dance floor was raised off the ground so everyone was tripping on it. My mom ended up cutting her foot on it. Other than those two things, everything else was great! The food was DELICIOUS! It was set up beautifully with nice lighting, and they let us use a good portion of their outdoor patio for no additional cost. We were leaving in the morning to go on our honeymoon, and were able to spend extra time afterwards opening a couple gifts with family members as they cleaned up. It was so nice to be able to do that. Absolutely no regrets!
