We highly recommend the Cambria Washington DC Riverfront hotel for your next special event. We held our daughter’s wedding there this past month on the rooftop. It was more like ...
a destination wedding because most guests were coming from out of town. The hotel staff was very hospitable and friendly throughout the weekend. The staff on the day of the wedding was all very friendly and helpful. The rooftop was amazing and we were able to customize it to my daughter and son-in-law’s specifications. It was a beautiful and unique location for a wedding with views all around. I have to give a special shout out to the Catering and Events Manager, Stephanie Brown. She spent endless hours working with me making sure that she knew every detail to make my daughter’s wedding exactly what she had dreamed. She was sometimes even texting with me at midnight about wedding details, answering the endless phone calls, emails and texts even on her days off. We really did not need a wedding planner because Stephanie was on top of everything. Even when we had an emergency happen just as the reception was about to begin, Stephanie and her team jumped right in and made everything right so my daughter and her guests still had a wedding to remember. She even stepped in to help me with the welcome bags and several other little special touches that I was not even aware of until after the wedding. I cannot give her higher praise. If you leave it in her hands, it will be taken care of and I so appreciate her always calm and patient manner even when I would be going “nutso” sending 10 emails a day. The chef prepared excellent meals and we got so many compliments on how great the food tasted. They had a multitude of selections to choose from for the hors d’oeuvres at the cocktail hour as well as the main course and desserts. The bar staff created customized drinks based on my daughter and son-in-law’s specifications as well as having a vast alcoholic and non-alcoholic selection of drinks for all.
