Oh boy, where to begin. First of all, I can tell you with complete confidence that if you’re reading this, your search for the best wedding photographer is over. No really, she is the best. From the very beginning, Shiloe was a ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. My husband and I loved the time that we had with her for our engagement pictures. The pictures looked effortless like we knew exactly what we were doing, when in reality we had no idea. Shiloe was just great about helping us and telling us what to do. Her communication during planning was spot on and the wedding day was no different. She was the ultimate encourager and hype person for myself, my husband, and all of our family and friends. When I didn’t know what to do or had a question, Shiloe was right there immediately to help me. Having Shiloe as our photographer is in the top five best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. I would also be remiss if I did not say anything about Shiloe’s second shooter, Lindsey. She was with myself, the bride, all day and was like another best friend instantly. She handed me tissues when I teared up and reminded me to do things like put my veil on before I walk down the aisle (oops). My husband and I are truly thankful that we picked Camera Shi to shoot our wedding. Not only will we have her beautiful pictures to last a lifetime, but a wonderful memory of our wedding day because of her that will also last a lifetime.

Shi is the greatest hype and right hand woman that you have to have for your special day. We hired Shi for our engagement photos, bridal, and wedding day and felt like she truly took the time to get to know us. Everyone was commenting to us how kind, professional, and beautiful her pictures turned out! I could sing my praises for Shi forever!!

The minute I started scrolling through our wedding photos, I starting sobbing the biggest tears of joy! Looking back through our photos was like reliving every single emotion and moment of our big day. I really don’t know how she does it, but we can’t recommend Shiloe enough! She and her sweet husband were such a light on our wedding day and they both felt like members of the family by the time it was all over. They made everyone feel so comfortable (talk about a HYPE SQUAD), and I’ve truly never felt more beautiful than I did in the photos that they took. I couldn’t imagine going with anyone else!

Reflecting on the wedding day, I now know that the photographer you hire is quite literally the most important decision you will make. The photographer is in charge of wrangling everyone together, keeping everyone light and happy for photo after photo, maintaining the schedule, navigating family politics, enabling the videographer (if applicable) to get the best shots, and ultimately providing you the memories of the day that flies by in the blink of an eye. Considering my florist forgot about my wedding, my mother was two hours late and there was a surprise parade causing road closures – it is actually TERRIFYING to think about what would have happened if we did not have Shi and Chris at our wedding day. From the beginning, Chris and Shi gave me peace of mind as they showed up an hour before they were scheduled to. They wanted to walk the venue and check out lighting, which assured me my photos were going to be BOMB. A few hours later, Shi comes in to the bridal suite and tells me that she is going to start with the guys first, switching up the timeline a bit, because the flowers weren’t ready yet and the girls could spend a little more time having fun. At first I was like “OMG so fun! More tequila!” Little did I know my florist actually FORGOT my wedding and Shi was protecting me from a full blown panic rage attack. Shi corrected the timeline and adjusted so smoothly, I did not even know about the flower mishap until all of the photos were taken and we were waiting for the ceremony. Not to mention, we had 21 people in our wedding party, two sets of divorced parents, opinionated relatives – all of which Shi was able to capture photos of in a timely and incredibly efficient manner. Shi is the sweetest angel on planet earth and 100% puts the bride and groom first on wedding day. She requested a list from us for family member photos to eliminate all drama (divorced/remarried parents) and had no problem, in her angelic ways, standing on a chair and screaming out which family member needs to be where and who needs to move out of the photo. It was truly incredible. Now on to what Shi does absolutely best …. The FREAKING photos. I cannot even begin to describe how fantastic our photos turned out. We have been featured on FIVE OTHER accounts because of Shi’s magical powers and it has been so exciting!!!! Shi is the hype queen and captures the true personalities of the people she is photographing which makes it all seem SO real, it is like I am truly reliving the day. Like I said earlier, the day goes by SO fast, TOO fast (especially if you have too much tequila..), so it is incredibly precious to be able to see these photos and have the memories and feelings spark all over again. The videographer we hired also followed Shi around like a puppy (actually like an inch behind her always LOL), capturing all of the angles she suggested and took, so I attribute the success and beauty of my wedding video to Shi as well. All in all, you have no choice but to hire Shi for your wedding. You get so much more than a photographer – you get a wedding planner and a friend. I would hire Shi again even if she quadrupled her prices and moved across the country. She has provided us with memories FOREVER and made us look and feel like a million bucks. WE LOVE YOU, SHI!! THANK YOU!!!! TL;DR –stop looking now, Camera Shi is the only option for wedding photography.

EVERYONE HIRE SHILOE!! She is the most encouraging and excited human being I have ever met 🥰. She did our engagements & wedding day and I am over the moon in love with all of the pictures!!! She is so so fun to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure your big day is perfect. All of the bridal/grooms party LOVED her (some even ended up hiring her 🤩) and I am STILL getting compliments on all our photos. I cannot wait to cherish these special pictures for the rest of my life. Hire Camera Shi - she was my favorite vendor!!!

Shiloe and her husband Chris- are the FRICKEN BEST. Seriously if you're even debating choosing her (or them) just do it. All the sneak peaks I've gotten have been the absolute greatest. The day of she convinced me I was Beyonce and I think it worked. I've gotten SO many compliments on the photos we've seen so far and cannot wait to see the rest. Shi and her sweet personality will make smiling for hours on end- easy. Really though. 10/10.
