We held our wedding here in mid-April of this past year and were blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the space we were able to us. We are more casual people and CHT fit our vibe. Also, we felt good knowing that our wedding was helping to fund programs at the camp. All of our guests commented on how it was such a great vibe and so fun for everyone. It was perfect for our early-spring Sunday afternoon wedding and I would highly recommend to other casual couples in central VA. One note is that I would get a shuttle service for guests, which you should factor into the cost of the venue. Still an amazing deal and venue.
Camp Holiday Trails is such a special place with a wonderful mission. This was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. We had our ceremony at the fire pit and the reception in the pavilion. Tina was very professional and communicative throughout the process from signing the contract to the day of our wedding. The venue is so beautiful and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Camp Holiday Trails is a unique wedding venue located in Charlottesville, VA. A scenic campsite in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this 73-acre property is the perfect wedding location for lovers of the outdoors.
Camp Holiday Trails is a year-round non-profit camp for children and teens with diverse medical needs. Since 1973, they have provided over 10,000 children with a fun camp adventure, allowing them to safely experience the outdoors with medical supervision. If you choose Camp Holiday Trails as your wedding venue, you’ll be supporting their mission to help children with medical needs thrive.
Camp Holiday Trails offers a variety of spaces where you can hold your ceremony or reception. For your ceremony, you could choose the Campfire Circle. A picturesque grassy spot surrounded by cabins, it’s perfect for both exchanging vows and roasting s’mores. Other ceremony sites include the front pasture under large trees, by the waterfront with floating docks, or indoors in the Dining Hall. However, you’re welcome to choose any spot across the site’s 73 acres. The rustic Dining Hall can also host receptions, seating 175 guests and featuring wooden floors and a spacious wraparound deck. Alternatively, you could choose the Pavilion, which features overhead lighting, a front stage area, a dance floor, and a bar. When the celebrations are over, you and your guests can retire to the comfort of the cozy lodges and Blazer Cabin, which sleep 14 and feature all modern amenities. They’re also a convenient space for couples to get ready before the ceremony. To assist you with planning, the venue can provide you with a list of approved caterers and vendors.
