Camp Bride was great to work with. Kasha was very helpful throughout the planning process. I had originally planned to use Camp Bride for hair, but had another makeup artist back out a few months before our wedding. Kasha was able to help us and get makeup added even though it was last minute and many other places were booked solid. For the trial, they came to my home. I had a lot of things I wanted to change for wedding day and it ended up absolutely perfect. They came on site for hair and makeup. All the artists were easy to work with, very timely. They were very gracious even with how nitpicky I was being. Everything ran very smoothly throughout the morning even though our timeline got thrown out of whack. It was fairly expensive (a lot more than I intended to spend) but it was so worth it for the peace of mind on wedding day.

The quality of the hair and make up services provided by Kasha’s team were great! Every bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and the bride looked outstanding! They did a great job ensuring hair and make up would stay put throughout the day’s festivities. Unfortunately, there was a breakdown in communication and the artists that arrived in the morning of had conflicting schedules, and ultimately fell behind schedule by approximately 30 minutes (even with nearly an hour of catch up and touch up time baked in). When I asked the artists for a revised completion time, they struggled to provide an answer, which required me to make some changes for the next scheduled events. I might recommend touching base with the artists first thing in the morning to make sure everyone’s schedules are aligned.

Carol and Claudia were wonderful! Carol was responsible for me (the bride) and all the makeup for the wedding party. Carol was super engaging and a joy to work with. Very professional and knowledgeable. Claudia did the hair of the wedding party and again was super knowledgeable and worked so well with the little girls in the party.

I absolutely loved working with Kasha, Kimberly(Hair), and India(Makeup). From coordinating looks for the bridal trial to the big day everything was fabulous! My mom, MIL, aunt, and MoH were all a part of morning prep and they all had the best time and felt listened to and taken care of. Kasha was communicative and on top of all the back end things. Kimberly and India arrived on time and prepared. It was truly stress free and such a delight! Thanks you!

Carol, Claudia, and Kasha at Camp Bride are amazing to work with! Kasha was super helpful making sure that I got exactly what I wanted and made sure to go over any last minute details to make sure we were on time. I loved getting to know her at the make-up trial and then getting to see her again on the big day! Thank you for relieving any stress I had - I don't wear make-up all the time and was a little nervous about it. But after chatting and being pampered a little bit all of that went away. I would not recommend anybody work with Kasha based on her unprofessional communication with me and would not recommend anybody see Christina for makeup. I selected Camp Bride to do hair and make up services for my wedding. I got married in October of 2023. The Good: Christina did my hair and my bridal party’s hair. She did a great job overall with everyone’s hair and no one had complaints regarding hair services. It did seem like Christina wasn’t able to keep up with or do new trends like Hollywood waves for hair or the clean/dewy skin look for makeup. Daryl Ann did the make up for my bridesmaids and she did a wonderful job. She took everyone’s feedback well and did the makeup looks as requested. She was so sweet and lovely to work with. The Bad: Christina’s makeup skills were honestly very disappointing. Kasha assured me that she had worked in LA and had been doing makeup for 11 years. I drove over an hour for my trial with Christina and she didn’t put any face products on my face for preparation. She put foundation on my face but did not add any concealer, contour, bronzer, blush, or highlight. When I asked for more products on my face like blush and contour, she unevenly applied the bare minimum. I was so disappointed in my trial. She didn’t even put any eyebrow products in my eyebrows until I brought it up. I asked for a warm orange smokey eye. She just didn’t seem to get the orange eye look I was going for despite me showing her countless pinterest photos. When I tried to give her in person feedback, she immediately became defensive and instead of taking my suggestions and requests, she informed me she already did what I was asking for. I left the trial feeling so uncomfortable. I would never EVER recommend Christina for makeup. The first photos I posted with this review are the ones taken after my trial. I also am posting a photo from my wedding where I did my own makeup and respectfully, it looks so much better than Christina’s work. The Unprofessional: After my trial with Christina, I received a call from Kasha to coordinate the schedule for my wedding day and finalize which services I would like done. During this phone call, Kasha became extremely defensive, unprofessional and raised her voice at me. I’ve tried writing this review several times, but it’s been taken down each time. If you have any other option for a hair / makeup artist for your event, I would recommend choosing them.

I had an exceptional experience with CampBride! Kasha and her team were true professionals with a great eye for detail and consideration for each individual in my bridal party. My wedding was at Starved Rock and I was looking for a hair and makeup team that could travel. Kasha traveled out to my apartment for the hair and makeup trial, which I appreciated, and her team drove out to Starved Rock Lodge the day of. In every instance, Kasha and her team were on time, set up, and professional to make sure everything ran on time, while also being warm, welcoming, and fun. I had an alternative wedding, so had a more distinct style than what is typical for weddings. I also have extremely thick and long hair and concerned it would be difficult to work with. Kasha pulled off both the makeup and the hair beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for better. She understood my vision and was receptive to any thoughts I had. Her team also did a phenomenal job with the rest of the party. Jennefier did makeup and Alyssa did hair and all of my bridesmaids and MOB and MIL looked gorgeous. One bridesmaid had told me that they loved that they still looked like themselves after everything was done, but with great makeup and hair (she had an issue when she was in a previous wedding that after getting makeup and hair done, she didn’t recognize herself). Hair and makeup lasted throughout the entire celebration, even with lots of dancing throughout the night. CampBride truly elevated the beauty and ambiance of our wedding and we couldn’t be more grateful for their expertise and talent.

I used CampBride for my bridal hair and makeup, and for hair for my four bridesmaids and they were so awesome to work with! Kasha was so great throughout the whole process! She emailed me a personalized quote for the specific services I requested, rather than just sending me a basic price sheet which I really appreciated. She creates a Pinterest board for you as well to ensure that they know the exact look and style you're going for on your wedding day. Carol was our stylist and I can't say enough good things about her! She's so sweet, funny, and easy to talk to, my bridesmaids and I all loved her! She absolutely NAILED it with all of my bridesmaid's hair and my hair and makeup, and did exactly what we all wanted! I got a ton of compliments on my hair and makeup during my entire wedding and can honestly say I've never felt so beautiful before. Hair and makeup held up so well after A LOT of dancing too! I am very grateful for Kasha and her team! From the beginning, Kasha took wonderful care of me (the bride). She had me for a bridal trial a month before the wedding and was thorough and flexible to changes/looks. On my wedding day, she and her team were prompt and polite. I am bit disappointed with how my bridesmaids hair turned out. Several of my girls hair was messy and it seemed that we didn’t have enough time for them to get the changes they were hoping for.

Kasha was fantastic! Very personable, professional, and kind. She knows what she is doing. I wanted a natural look. She crushed it! My only issue is that I wish I would’ve been charged less for not wanting a full glam look.

I absolutely LOVED working with CampBride. Kasha was very knowledgeable and helped set our bridal party up with an amazing hairstylist, Lindsy. All of our hair turned out AMAZING, and exactly how we envisioned it. Kasha set up a phone meeting with me prior to the wedding to discuss logistics, come up with a schedule, and overall just ensure that everything will go as planned. The planning process was seamless, and extremely organized. On the day of the wedding, Lindsy, our hairstylist, arrived early and was able to begin right away. We were ahead of schedule and she stayed after we were all done to do touch ups, secure any hair that may be loose, and just to make sure we all felt beautiful and our hair matched our vision. Our hairstyles lasted all day and did not budge at all! The wedding was outdoor and it was a very windy day, and our hair stayed completely! I will definitely recommend CampBride to others, and will use them in the future.

Less than 2 weeks before my wedding, I learned that the beauty salon I'd originally booked for my wedding no longer had anyone with much updo experience. I called CampBride, and Kasha got back to me the same day with a couple of options to accommodate my hair & makeup - including an offer to travel from Illinois to Milwaukee herself the night before so she could be there early on the day of the wedding. She also suggested another local beauty company that might have availability. I ended up going with the latter since they could accommodate myself and my bridesmaids without having to travel, but Kasha's responsiveness and commitment to helping me find a solution was the kind of amazing customer service that every person deserves. I highly recommend hiring CampBride!

As a bride getting married in a different state than the one I live in, I relied heavily on the expertise of my wedding planner and internet reviews. CampBride was recommended to me and after I spoke to Kasha the owner, I knew I had found the place for me. They were professional and efficient. And with a small child at home, having someone come to me for my hair and makeup trial was more than I could have asked for! Carol gave me exactly what I asked for in my hair and makeup trial and replicated it for my wedding. Both Carol and Alyssa did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids and mom. Kasha has been a joy to work with throughout this whole process. She is very responsive and helpful, and always happy to answer any questions I had. We had a consultation about a month prior to the wedding where we tried two hairstyles and 2 color palette choices for my face. She was very receptive to any feedback I had during the demo. On my wedding day, she was prompt in arriving, and even though the bridal party and I did many things that could slow her down, she somehow managed to keep us on the schedule she outlined for us. She also brought someone else to help, Alaina who was absolutely fabulous as well. If any of the bridal party or I wanted to change something the day of, they were more than happy to make it happen. CampBride was amazing to work with! Kasha was able to fit us in on a month’s notice and cover four bridesmaids, a best gal, flower girl and mother of the groom. All of the girls looked perfect, were ready on schedule (even a little early), and both hair and makeup held up well the entire day and evening, even with a few hours of outside pictures in the winter. So happy we went with CampBride for our wedding, highly recommended!

I used CampBride for my wedding in November. 6/7 of my bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done along with my mom and MIL. Not only were they super professional, they were SO MUCH FUN! Kasha is an artist through and through. She's the most laid back lady I've ever met. She was super easy to work with from my trial to the day of. I made a small change to my hair the day of and she didn't bat an eye. :) She gets to know you and your regular styling routine to help you along with makeup. I hardly ever wear it. I expressed to her I was nervous I wasn't going to look like myself. She eased my nerves right away. She brought two stylists with her the day of who were just as awesome! Love love love Kasha! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I want to get married again just so I can hand out with her.

They came to my wedding location which was SO important to me since I did not want to rushing and driving somewhere the day of my wedding. Kasha even graciously redid some eye makeup when one individual wanted to change it up which was amazing!

Carol was amazing. She was able to do exactly what all the girls wanted and they all looked stunning for their makeup and hair services. It was really great having the services done at home. She did a great job on my trial and day of hair, and the schedule worked out as planned.

CampBride did a wonderful job for our wedding! We had Kasha and Lisa and they both did a beautiful job on our hair and makeup. I communicated with Kasha about slight changes I wanted to make after my trial and both my hair and makeup turned out amazing the day of my wedding! My bridesmaids were all happy with their hair and makeup and my mom absolutely loved how she looked! Kasha was easy to work with, made a full Pinterest board for me of ideas, and drove a long distance to get to my apartment for the trial. It was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend CampBride.

I happened to book hair and makeup pretty late, and I was so lucky that Kasha happened to have artists available on my wedding day. Kasha went above and beyond and was always so responsive to my questions and when I needed to change the proposed wedding day schedule 3-4 times. Kasha made me feel like I was the only bride-to-be that she was communicating with, even though I am sure Kasha was talking to hundreds of other people, too. I'm so lucky that CampBride happened to have artists available on my wedding day, and I could not have asked for two better people to do hair and makeup than Bebe and Jennifer. They arrived at the venue early and were both so sweet, fun, and helpful. Jennifer is so amazing with makeup--I received SO many compliments. And Bebe similarly was so nice, accommodating, and an expert with hairstyles. I also received SO many compliments on my hair. I could not have imagined my hair and makeup looking any better than it did, and it is all thanks to Kasha, Bebe, and Jennifer. She was organized the whole way through and flexible with my schedule and any last minute changes. Lisa at CampBride is the absolute best! Her years of industry experience is very clear. She works efficiently, but took the time to make sure me and my bridesmaids looked like we wanted to without having that "overdone" look.

I can not say enough about how perfect CampBride was for our wedding! Kasha and her team were completely accommodating from the very start! I had a total of 13 girls getting hair and makeup done on the day of our wedding. With that amount of people, I was worried about finding a vendor. The fact that these ladies travel to your location made everything go so smooth and stress-free! As a bride; we definitely want as little stress as possible. Four artists (Bebe, Sam, India and Jen) were there for us to make the process quick and easy. All of these ladies did such a great job attending to each one of our personalities and preferences. They were very professional and I felt completely comfortable in their presence. Everyone looked beautiful and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
