Nancy & Kim were absolute lifesavers! Although Nancy was hired as our day-of-coordinator, she went so far above and beyond that role. From our monthly touchpoints leading up to the wedding to crafting the perfect day-of timeline, her expertise and guidance were INVALUABLE. She became my voice of reason and sounding board throughout the process.
As someone who's extremely Type A, and used to steering the ship in both my family and my husband's, I knew I didn't want to take on that role on my big day. Nancy stepped in seamlessly and exceeded all expectations. She and Kim were always one step ahead - sewing buttons, handling last minute hiccups I didn't even know about, and ensuring every detail we'd planned came to life.
I truly cannot imagine my wedding day without Nancy and Kim. It wouldn't have been even a fraction of the success it was without their expertise, professionalism, and kindness. Nancy and Christine of Can Do Events are truly the best!!! I am a super detail oriented planner, however, I am SO glad I booked them to assist with day-of-coordination for my wedding. Leading up to the wedding, I had regular calls with Nancy to walk through my 'vision' for the day, talk through timeline, and provide vendor details and contracts. Nancy took it from there and I honestly felt as stress free as I could leading up to the wedding day because I knew Nancy and Christine had all the details handled. On the day of the wedding, they handled all the questions from parents, the bridal party, and vendors and made sure we were keeping to our timeline while still being flexible. I am so grateful they were there to help with everything and I will 1000000% be recommending future friends and family who are getting married to use them for their weddings. When I tell you booking Can Do Events was by far the BEST money I spent all wedding season long, know that I’m saying it with complete confidence. I approached Nancy Ellen ~4 months before my wedding day a little reluctant. I considered myself to be pretty organized when it came to wedding planning and was being conscious of budget. In just a short conversation, it was clear booking Nancy Ellen was a MUST. She helped me keep my head above water for the months leading up to wedding weekend, making sure vendors were properly communicated with, all details were meticulously ironed out, and perhaps most impressively, that she was super clear on what I envisioned of the day. I’m sure she’s working multiple weddings per weekend but you'd never know it. She made me feel like mine was the only one that mattered and she truly documented/remembered everything I shared with her. On wedding day, Christine and Nancy Ellen not only made sure I was taken care of, but my mom, MIL, bridesmaids, groomsmen, officiant… the list goes on. They were fixing pant holes, bustling dresses, ultimately putting out fires I will never know anything about, all while keeping a very large bridal party to a schedule.
I truly cannot stress the value of booking Can Do Events enough. All of the amazing details you’re planning for your wedding mean nothing if you can’t enjoy them. Nancy Ellen and Christine made it their mission on my wedding day to ensure I experienced, soaked in, and remembered every moment of the day. Book Nancy now!!! Out of all the planners I chatted with initially, Nancy was the most communicative and interpersonal choice by far. I am a very organized person by default, but I knew I would be the go-to person on the wedding day for questions/issues and as the bride, I had zero interest in that responsibility, so I knew I needed a planner to help. Nancy went above and beyond my expectations of what wedding coordination entails, and we went through our wedding timeline multiple times over multiple calls—she really helps prepare your expectations. On the day of the wedding, Nancy definitely seemed to be in her element, she kept checking in to make sure my husband and I were okay, and kept a tight ship the entire day/night. I highly recommend her for all of your planning needs.
I hired Nancy and her team about 4 months before my wedding. My only regret is not hiring them sooner!!!! I could not speak more highly of can do events! They were friendly, professional, super easy to work worth, and flexible to all my adjustments as we planned (even though some were last minute lol)! : D I had the opportunity to see the planning services I had with can do events versus other wedding planners my friends used at the same time and I can honestly say that Nancy and her team are SUPER detail oriented and have literally thought of EVERYTHING! I can't thank Nancy, and her partners Christine and Kim, enough for everything they did to make our wedding day PERFECT! We hired them as our day of coordinators and it was the best decision we made. Nancy had numerous planning meetings with us leading up to our wedding and she was so responsive to all of our emails, texts or requests. We had a very stressful situation about a month before our wedding and Nancy quickly hopped on a call to help trouble shoot with us. We couldn't have done the day without her! She and her team made our wedding day run so smoothly and there was nothing I was worried about the whole day :) Thank you all so much again!!

Our venue came with a maitre'd which is why I was hesitant to hire a day of coordinator but I am SO glad I hired Nancy. Just an example of why I'm glad she was with us: we showed up to our first photo location and another photographer was claiming they had the permit for that time. Nancy pulled out our permit and handled the other bridal party/photographer like a boss!
Nancy has truly 'been there, done that' and comes with so much experience and expertise. Within a few weeks of meeting, we had a detailed timeline down to the minute for our wedding day. She walked us through EVERYTHING including photo timeline, our ceremony set up, processional/recessional order, pre-sat guests, entrance, speeches, etc. She stayed until the end of the night and helped pack up all our personal belongings and made sure the cards, gifts and marriage license were in safe hands.

My daughter and I hired Can Do Events for my daughter’s wedding. We were impressed from the first phone meeting we had with Nancy. Through further planning calls and the day of the event, we couldn’t have been happier with the work Nancy and her assistant did for us. Nancy is very detail oriented and being an out of town mother of the bride, it was great to have my daughter work with someone that was on top of all the details. The wedding day was tremendously smooth because we talked through all the details prior to the day. From set up to tear down on the actual wedding day, Nancy took care of it all and worked with all the vendors to make sure everything was meticulously managed. I would definitely hire Nancy again for any other event!

Nancy made our entire wedding planning process and wedding day go so smoothly and relieved so much of our stress. She put in so much time and effort leading up to the wedding to make sure we had everything organized and completed in a timely manor in order to be as prepared as possible for our wedding day. Nancy and her colleague Christine were AMAZING to work with. We could not have planned our wedding without her help (we were planning our wedding in Philly while living across the country in LA). Nancy was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Her initial questionnaire helped me think about things that were not even on my radar. She was so detailed but never made me feel any pressure to make decisions before I was ready. She provided her input when I asked for it, which was helpful for me. She was extremely responsive and we scheduled meetings far in advance. The timeline she created was also extremely detailed, which helped everything run smoothly on the day of the wedding. She also contacted and coordinated with our vendors prior to the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page. Once the day arrived, Nancy and Christine went above and beyond to make sure everything was running according to schedule. Even though I had not met them in person prior to the day of the wedding, I felt like I had known them for years. I felt so comfortable with both women. Not only did they take care of my husband and I, they also frequently checked in on our parents, which put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy the day, knowing they were also being tended to. We hired Nancy at Can Do Events to be the coordinator for our wedding in Villanova PA, and I truly can say, we couldn't have done it without her. She was very communicative, organized, professional, and helped with so many aspects of the wedding process. Nancy was also there on the wedding day and rehearsal practice, and helped both days go smoothly. Nancy absolutely knows everything, big or small, when it comes to weddings; truly an expert. I can't say more good things about her! Nancy's partner, Christine, was also there on the wedding day to help with various things, including decor set up, and she was awesome as well!
AMAZING! Nancy is absolutely amazing. We hired her for my daughter’s June 7th wedding and it was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding process. My daughter and her fiancé had all of their venders selected but wanted a day-of-coordinator to make sure the day ran smoothly. Let me just start off ny sying the day of coordinating started as soon as we hired her which was about 10 months out from the wedding. Nancy began drafting a very detailed timeline which we tweaked all the way up to the wedding during our monthly calls. She read all of our contracts and contacted all of our vendors. She provided vendor time-lines and reconnected with each of them the week before the wedding. I should mention that my daughter’s venue was newly constructed and at the time did not have all-inclusive packages. My daughter and her fiancé separately chose all vendors, over ten in total, most of which had not previously worked together. Nancy worked her magic to make sure all came together cohesively. When we had an issue with our officiant, Nancy stepped in and took over. What could have been a very stressful situation for the bride and groom as well as this MOB was handled perfectly without any stress on our part. The day of the wedding seemed flawless from our perspective and if there were glitches, Nancy and her assistant Christine handled them without our knowledge. Let me just also add that in addition to being professional and amazing at what they do, Nancy and Christine are so nice, friendly and just wonderful people. Throughout the entire process, Nancy made us feel as though Katie and Luke’s wedding was special. The day of the wedding they made sure the bride and groom always had everything they needed. Many of our family members commented that they also gave special care and attention to them. I couldn’t be more grateful for that! Katie and Luke are an amazing couple and their wedding was spectacular. Nancy played a huge part in the wedding’s success, allowing Katie and Luke, their families and friends to enjoy a magical day!
Nancy and Christine are THE BEST. Can Do Events, coordinated both my sisters wedding in 2022 and mine in May 2024. I had calls with Nancy once a month 6 months leading up to the wedding. She checked in on my vendor lists, helped me pick our trustworthy vendors in my area, gave advice without being pushy. She listened to my concerns and worked WITH me to figure out solutions or ease my nerves. My husband and I were so calm on our wedding day because she made such a detailed timeline of the day there was no question of what we were expected to do next. She checked in throughout the night but was also a shadow on the wall. I cannot recommend Can Do Events enough for their amazing service and lovely personalities. Wish I could do it all over again just to have them around!!
We hired Nancy to be our day of coordinator for our wedding after getting glowing reviews from a friend who hired her. Nancy was already booked the day of our wedding, but the two coordinators did an amazing job! Nancy did a tremendous amount of work building a plan in the months before the wedding. And the two coordinators made the day run incredibly smoothly: they got the cake after the baker missed the delivery window, they got the bride’s shoe to stop pinching her, they helped box up everything at the end of the night.
We got married on 4/20/24 at the Merion Tribute House (Merion Station, PA) and we hired Nancy for "month-of coordination" services for our wedding. This ended up being more like 6-months-coordination, with phone calls to discuss planning details, timelines, and vendor coordination starting six months out and about every 4-6 weeks until the wedding. Nancy's attention to detail and professionalism was unmatched - in hindsight I don't know how we would have done it without her! Because of her careful timeline planning, our wedding day ran so smoothly, even ahead of schedule for most of the morning. If anything went wrong we didn't know about because everything was handled perfectly. We especially appreciated her suggestion for the two of us to take a few moments after the ceremony to sign our wedding license with our witnesses and take a moment to breathe - the caterers also brought us water and appetizers during our "break", which set us up for success the rest of the night! We felt we got great value from hiring Nancy and her team and we would absolutely recommend them to coordinate your wedding in the PA area.
We can't rave enough about Nancy, Christine and Kim. Nancy is the most organized person. She had everything running smoothly and on schedule. We truly had a stress free day because they took care of everything. Not only are Nancy, Christine and Kim the ultimate professionals, but they made us feel like family. I recommend them to everyone I know. I interviewed many day of vendors and Nancy won us over. She is very reasonably priced for her services and is held in very high regard with all of the vendors we used for the wedding. We can't say enough about them.

Nancy did an amazing job helping us figure out all the little details that we may not have thought about, and provided us, as well as all the vendors, a very detailed wedding day timeline that kept everything running incredibly smoothly. She was always ready to help with anything, from assistance in handling any problems that popped up, to advice when we weren't sure just how things should go, to keeping all the vendors in the loop and updated on every detail. She was easy to get a hold of, flexible on meeting schedules, and just provided a peace of mind that I didn't think was possible when planning our daughter's wedding! The minute Nancy and Christine showed up on the morning of the wedding, I was able to take a deep breath and enjoy the day knowing that they were there to handle everything and anything, and handle things they did! We were expecting a snowstorm the day of the wedding and Nancy expertly handled all the issues that comes with a wedding in a snowstorm in Philly. Everything from problems with the transportation company, to figuring out photo locations when the snow prevented us from carrying out the original plan. She even came into the city the night prior, just to make sure she would not be late or stuck on the roads in bad weather on the day of. As a mother of the bride I can tell you that Nancy is the person you want by your side from start to finish. Five stars is definitely not enough and I will forever be grateful for Nancy and Can Do Events!w
Nancy & Christine are angels on earth! My venue required me to hire a day of coordinator which was something I never considered before, nor was I familiar with their roles and responsibilities in the wedding planning process. Most of the coordinators I spoke to before calling Can Do Events said they got involved from 1 to 3 months prior to the wedding. Upon speaking to Nancy, I knew instantly I wanted to work with her. Her personality and expertise brought such a calming energy to the wedding planning process, and on top of it she started working with me 6 months prior to our day!! Our monthly calls were always down to business but also a mini therapy session and I truly felt like the biggest day of my life thus far was in the best possible hands! Nancy and Christine made my wedding day so enjoyable and stress free I cannot thank them enough!!

Her professional demeanor, organizational skills, preparedness, and foresight were exactly what I needed to help take some of the wedding planning stress off of my mom and me! Hiring Can Do Events was the best money we spent throughout the entire wedding process. We reached out to Nancy when we realized we couldn't run the show ourselves on the big day! Nancy scheduled monthly check-in calls to make sure we were thinking of every detail, which put our minds at ease that we weren't forgetting anything. In the weeks leading up, she put together a detailed timeline and confirmed everything with all of our vendors. She and her partner, Christine, were on site for the wedding, and they kept all vendors and the wedding party on track. If anything went wrong, we didn't hear about it!
I definitely recommend hiring Nancy for your rehearsal as well, because she really kept us organized and efficient, even with a lot of small children in the mix. I can't say enough about how amazingly wonderful it was to work with Can Do Events!

I highly recommend Can Do Events! Nancy is extremely communicative and detail-oriented. She checked in with me regularly, flagged potential problems before they came up, and created a timeline that made the day flow seamlessly! Nancy and her team are the absolute BEST and made our wedding day come together PERFECTLY! I had Nancy as a day-of coordinator, but she started working with me about 6 months out to learn about my vendors and how I wanted the day to flow. She even arranged an in-person meeting at my venue to have a walkthrough and meet the venue coordinator to have everyone introduced and have communication clear on all sides from the start. As we got closer to my wedding date, Nancy created a full timeline of my wedding day from start to finish, which we had calls about often and perfected as the day got closer. On the day-of, every person involved in my wedding, from my parents, bridal party and husband, raved about how pivotal Nancy and Jodi were to our day. They kept us on time, kept lines of communications open with our vendors, and even cleaned up our personal items at the end of the night and brought them back to the hotel which was hugely helpful. Even the small things, such as holding onto our phones and wallets during the ceremony, or making sure we had water, coffee, anything we needed at any time, were so extremely helpful, all due to Nancy's thoughtfulness and attention to detail. You will not regret hiring Can Do Events!
I am at a loss for words. This team is truly incredible. My wedding went without one single problem. If there were any, I was never even made aware. They really helped so so so much with the entire planning process, and the day of was a dream and I give them most of the credit for that. We did not forget anything because they were absolutely prepared in every single way. CAN do is a MUST HAVE for your wedding. I cannot recommend them enough. Nancy , Christine & Kim will do every thing they can to make your dream vision come to light. I will recommend CAN DO for all of my friends / families weddings. Absolutely necessary.
The team at Can Do Events were a pleasure to work with! We hired the team as day-of coordinators with their Gold Package, but their service went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. Nancy, the owner, started working with us through monthly phone calls about six months ahead of the wedding. Although it would be her associates Christine and Kim who would be with us on wedding day, Nancy was highly attentive to every detail and you could tell how invested she was in the success of the event. Our calls leading up to the day helped us pulse-check our progress, and it was reassuring to hear her confirm that things were on track. Our venue came with venue coordination staff, and Nancy did a great job collaborating with their team - stepping up to lead many coordination tasks, while being mindful of when to let the venue lead and to not step on toes. Christine and Kim were a delight, and struck the perfect balance between working the floor and staff to keep the day moving, while also checking on us and being attentive to our needs.
Among the thousand little details, the only hiccup of the day was that the vendor tip envelops were overlooked on wedding day, so we had to do some extra work after the wedding to make sure our vendors were appropriately tipped for their work. Otherwise, it was a truly flawless day, and we cannot say enough about this team!
My husband and I are both in agreement, Nancy was an essential part of the success of our wedding. Planning a wedding is extremely overwhelming, but our calls with Nancy leading up to the big day kept us on track and focused on what we needed to do next. Nancy also reviewed all of our contracts, created our timeline and contacted all of our vendors to review the timeline prior to the big day. This allowed us to be able to fully enjoy our wedding day without worrying about our schedule or timeline. Throughout our wedding day Nancy was by our side whether it was handing us items from her emergency kit or holding up my dress in the rain she had EVERYTHING covered. We cannot recommend Nancy and her team highly enough!!!

We were a little lost when it came to figuring out all the small details that were needed for the big day and so we decided to hire a wedding coordinator. We looked on the Knot and the first result that popped up was Can Do events.
After we booked a call with Nancy, we immediately felt confident that she would help us out. She was confident but gentle and that gave us assurance that she was the right person for the job.
Immediately after hiring her, she got to work right away. She did four things that were absolutely crucial for us:
- She contacted all of our vendors and made sure that they were all on the same page so that coordination on the actual day went smoothly (and it did on the actual day!)
- She created a list of things to buy/get for the little details. For example, she let us know that we needed to get toiletry goodies for the bathrooms and signs for them. I would've never even thought of that.
- She created a timeline of the actual day down to five minute intervals and made sure all the vendors were in line with that. That gave us so much confidence that the day was actually planned and we knew what to do.
- Nancy and Christine killed it on the actual day of the event. They never skipped a beat and constantly ensured that everything was on track. My wife and I were a little stressed but Nancy and Christine literally took care of everything and we ended up enjoying our day so much because of that.
I cannot stress how amazing Nancy and Christine were. If you are considering hiring someone to help plan for any event, I cannot recommend Can Do events enough. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
5/5/2023 Wedding I want to recommend and offer the highest praise to the benefits of using the event planner, Nancy, at Can Do Events. Wedding venues offer a wedding day assistant but there is no comparison to the services that Nancy provided. Nancy coordinated the entire event. Nancy reviewed all contracts and made all venders abide to contracted times and any special items discussed happened. Nancy and the Can Do Team was amazing. From start to finish they thought about everything! They were very thoughtful and planned our day down to the minute. Believe me when I say – if my husband and I hadn’t been able to show up for our wedding, our friends and family would still have had a fabulous party to attend. If Nancy and Christine were not part of our special day, there just simply would have been no wedding.
We worked closely with Can Do Events as a recommended vendor for the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. As two working professionals, my husband and I did not have the bandwidth, or foresight, to think of everything that could go into a wedding. Luckily, Can Do Events was there each step of the way.
From our first email exchange, all our communications were extremely prompt, thorough, and practice. We immediately felt at ease given Nancy and Christine’s easy demeanor but don’t be fooled – these industry veterans have seen EVERYTHING, and planned for every contingency, family dynamic, or logistical hiccup that could occur. Nancy was extremely patient in having us outline our (most ambitious!) vision, and drew up a detailed timetable and to-do list on everything we needed to keep track up for months leading up to our day. They personally contacted every vendor to introduce themselves, ensured we received the full services from our contract, and managed the coordination between our event caterer and venue seamlessly.
Nancy and Christine’s list of recommended vendors in the area was extremely useful given their industry contacts, like when last minute we needed to find a shuttle van to bring my mom-in-laws friends from the suburbs into the city. When we thought we could do a DIY centerpiece on our own, Can Do Events again intervened to provide not only the support to execute on our budget option, but were at my mother’s side each step of the way to ensure she led the process from afar.
The day of our wedding, Nancy and Christine raced from venue to our side, ensured we were on track and allowing capacity to address any issue that came up in real-time. The whole ceremony and reception was executed flawlessly, such that we as a couple (and our parents) could truly sit back and enjoy the day. I was so touched by the pride and ownership this dedicated team felt in ensuring our wedding was as magical and special as we hoped it would be. You will be one lucky Bride & Mother of the Bride if you can schedule Nancy and her team. We had a large wedding in Philadelphia and we are not from the area. We had several calls with Nancy to plan the day. We needed someone that knew how to coordinate a bunch of vendors and schedules and to make the day/evening run beautifully for family and friends. There were four hotels, buses, church service off site and then a museum reception. I am the mother of the Bride and I was so confident in Nancy and her team, that I barely left the dance floor. I remember my daughter saying “Mom, if I see you stressed because things aren’t running smoothly, it will stress me out”. Of all the people that we hired for our daughter’s wedding, Nancy had the greatest impact on the event for the bride and groom, the parents and ultimately all those that attended. She was so knowledgeable, professional and organized. Trust me, hire Nancy!
Nancy and the team at Can Do Events were the most essential part of my wedding day & planning – I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We were introduced to Nancy through the preferred vendor list at PAFA. Our wedding had a bit of complexity since we were getting married in a church, then holding our reception at PAFA with the cocktail hour in the historic landmark building and dinner and dancing next door in the Hamilton building. There were a lot of logistics to coordinate with vendors across all of the venues. While Nancy was our “day-of” coordinator, she became involved in the wedding planning process several months in advance of the big day. She took the time to get to know my mom and me, meeting with us several times in Philadelphia throughout our planning process. She carefully reviewed contracts and caught several errors that we were able to correct in advance (which certainly made the wedding weekend run more smoothly). There were a few scenarios while planning where vendors tried to "re-trade" on our contracts, and Nancy provided guidance on how to approach those situations and helped to find a resolution. As the wedding weekend approached, we held frequent calls to make sure all the details were finalized, and then a few weeks before the wedding she took over communication with our vendors. I didn’t worry about a single thing the day of the wedding – Nancy, Christine and Kim arrived, enthusiastic and ready to go, they had a perfect timeline with the entire day planned out to the minute. Nancy ensured that we stayed on-time during hair and makeup, however nothing ever felt rushed (which is how it should be on your wedding day). We had 3 room blocks, and buses at each hotel to shuttle guests to our wedding ceremony – one of the buses didn’t show up, and Nancy was able to quickly shift the schedule around, getting all guests to the church in time for our ceremony start at 4pm – and, even better, I didn’t find out about this bus dilemma until the next day. Throughout the wedding, she checked in on me, my husband and my parents to make sure we had everything we needed. The day was absolutely perfect, and so much of that is thanks to Nancy and her team – there is absolutely no way the day would have gone as smoothly without them. I could not recommend Can Do Events more highly for wedding planning / coordinating. They are INCREDIBLE!

Let me just start by saying that Nancy is a saint! Our venue's owner was extremely particular and honestly a nightmare to work with and Nancy ensured that our vision came to life on the day of without anything standing in the way.
We DIY'ed a lot of our decor and knowing that I could wake up on the day of without any worries thanks to Nancy being there made it all the more perfect. Her husband even went out of his way to ensure my grandmother and great aunt arrived at the venue safely!
I truly don't think our wedding day would have been such an amazing and smooth day without Nancy. She truly saved the day and I recommend her to anyone needing some extra support to ensure they can relax and truly enjoy their day!
WOW! Could not have asked for a better ally in the planning of my dream wedding. Initially we were skeptical about the utility of hiring a coordinator, but after our amazing experience with Nancy and Christine, we couldn't imagine having our wedding without them. From our first meeting with Nancy, we could tell that she took her job very seriously and dedicates herself to the success of the event. She asked hard and pertinent questions and used her vast experience to craft and hone our wedding based on our preferences. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Nancy and Christine. They literally saved my wedding. The coordinator at our reception venue turned out to be a real flake and without Nancy I would have had a total melt down. At first my fiancé was apprehensive about hiring a day of coordinator, he thought it was an unnecessary expense, but after the wedding he did nothing but talk about how it was the best decision we made. Nancy is very organized, she makes a very detailed timeline, her and Christine will keep everything running smoothly and on time the day of and she is Johnny on the Spot with anything you may need or forgot to do. Our daughter was married 10/31/20 and our best wedding decision was to hire a day of coordinator. I saw what other mothers went through on wedding day and I wanted to share every minute with my daughter, in the moment. Our daughter initially felt we didn’t need one as our venue indicated we would have a day of coordinator. As luck would have it, the day of coordinator was the venue manager and she had many other things to focus on than the bride and groom!
As luck would have it, 6 weeks prior to wedding date we had to switch venues. Our venue was not the most accommodating at all in assisting us with the transition. Nancy jumped right in at our initial meeting, gave us suggestions on moving forward and set up personal meetings with the bride and groom as well as responding to many emails in the transition chaos. After the first meeting at the venue, our daughter acknowledged what a tremendous help Nancy would be for us. Nancy came back to the venue with us several days prior to wedding day to review every aspect of the setup. She also confirmed all vendors prior, reviewed all contracts and set up a timeline that was used by all that day. Extremely helpful!
Nancy and Christine made wedding day such a joy! I truly felt I was able to enjoy every moment as I planned. It was great having Christine with the guys to keep them organized and on time. I didn’t wear a watch and never looked at the time all day - Nancy and Christine took care of all details, including venue issues that we never even knew about until after. With Nancy’s background in catering, she is on top of it!
The beauty at the end of the evening was that we simply grabbed our bags and walked out of the venue. We didn’t have to pack anything up or tear anything down. Nancy and Christine took care of EVERYTHING and personally delivered our items to our daughter’s next day. Everything was made so much easier.

Nancy was fantastic in helping plan our wedding. She was right where we needed her to be on the day of, even when we didn't know we needed her there. She helped us with all the little things we didn't know we needed to plan and was incredibly kind and easy going when we changed things last minute.
Nancy and Christine are the best! Our backyard wedding would not have been nearly as special, successful and smooth without them! Nancy met with us several times leading up to the event, made sure we knew what we needed for the event and then offered suggestions for details that really made the difference. She created a detailed day of timeline for us and our vendors that kept everyone informed and on track. On the day of they both made sure every detail was taken care of right down to ironing the table linens! Everyone at the wedding commented how great the night was and many of them recognized the efforts of Nancy and Christine. I cannot say enough about them. Oh it's not even fair how flawless our entire wedding day was, as coordinated by Can Do. We contacted Nancy about 2 months before the event, she got back to us and met us immediately. She instantly became the point-person between all vendors and refined the timeline the entire way all the way down to the last minute requests and changes we gave her.
We had a fairly laid back vision, so Nancy asked all of the right questions to help us refine it, and it was executed beautifully. We received weekly and daily communication as needed to fill in the blanks the entire way. Between her and Christine showing up early and following through on everything, we didn't have to do ANYTHING on the day of, which is all we could have asked for!
Nancy and Christine cared. They weren't just checking boxes. All the way down to grabbing myself and Brie (the bride!) drinks, waters, and food when we were getting low!
Can Do Events was recommended to me by one of my friends knowing my daughter was getting married shortly after her daughter's wedding. During our planning, we were very split on the day of coordinator. My husband was pushing for it since he didn’t want us to have to worry about any details on the day of. I’m pretty type A and felt like I could just organize everything so well in advance that we’d be fine and was worried about any extra costs. As we got closer to the wedding I realized that while I might not have to deal with some of the details, our friends and family would and that would getting the way of them having a good time. We reached out to Nancy just a month before the wedding and thankfully she was available! She dove into all the details with me, doing a walk through at both spaces, helping create a good contingency plan if certain things didn’t go as planned, and helped coordinate all of the little details which we would have spent time dealing with the days leading up to our wedding. Instead, we were able to spend more time with our family and wedding party rather than dropping off stuff the day before. Then on the wedding day, Nancy and Christine were amazing. They helped make sure that everything was on time and according to schedule, and that meant that we were really able to just enjoy our day. My maids of honor were so incredibly happy that they could relax with me, and after the wedding told me how happy they were that Nancy was there and how impressed they were with how she and Christine handled everything so that things were totally perfect for our day! I can’t recommend her enough - she jumped in last minute, got on top of all the details, and helped make sure our day was perfect!
Can Do Events was the best investment one can make to ensure a well run wedding. They thought of many important wedding details, which we hadn't known were important. They also made themselves extremely useful on the wedding day itself. They fixed my broken blazer button on my tux minutes before the first look and managed my crazy aunt during the ceremony.
Their prices where very reasonable as well.

My fiancé Ben and I hired Nancy and Christine about 3 months before our big day. BEST DECISION EVER. From our very first meeting (which was in-person, and much appreciated) both Nancy and Christine were organized, professional, and full of great ideas and recommendations! We appreciated them being quick to respond whenever we had questions, and how they made sure every request we had was personally handled. In the weeks leading up to the big day, Nancy was working with all the vendors to confirm the times they'd arrive, set up, breakdown, and where they fit into the bigger picture. At that same time, Christine was in contact with Ben and I to let us know "it's handled! Not to worry!" It was in those weeks that I was most thankful, because we were busy doing the little things with our family and friends and getting excited of course! The day of, both ladies were SO hands on and took away the stress from Ben and I (and my Mom!) They worked with our DJ, photographer, venue coordinator, bakery AND MORE to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The timeline they put together helped keep our (rowdy) bridal party on track so that we could attend the cocktail hour - because we did not want to miss that! My son had a wedding in a non traditional venue. I just couldn't have gotten through it without Nancy. She handled everything we discussed and things I didn't even think of. The day was perfect! Nancy made sure everything was timed, organized beautiful and we didn't have to worry about anything at all. Reading Terminal Market never looked more elegant!

I hired Nancy for my daughter's wedding in April. I had never considered a day-of coordinator before, but my co-worker recommended her. It was the best decision I made! She took care of handling everything on the wedding day, even running back to my house to get the ring bearer's pillow which we forgot! She was the point person for all the vendors and was so courteous and professional. Definitely will use her for my son's wedding next year.
Christine and Nancy were by my side all day taking care of every little thing that popped up. I had no idea our bakery didn't deliver the special cupcakes I ordered, but Christine got on the phone with them immediately and they were delivered in time for the reception. I didn't find that out until the day after my wedding! My Mom was thrilled to be able to enjoy herself at my wedding and that just made everything perfect! I highly recommend them!
Having a destination wedding can be stressful, but Nancy put my mind at ease from the day that I hired her. She was a perfect liaison between me and the resort where we had the wedding. She oversaw all of the vendors, made sure everything was placed perfectly and wrangled in the family and bridal party to ensure they were where I needed them to be for the pictures and the ceremony. I cant say enough positive things about her!
