We reserved the entire house for us and our guests during our destination wedding. The house was gorgeous, with its original charm still intact. The space in the garden area was pe...
rfect. It was all beautiful and well taken care of, not to mention very versatile as there was multiple ways to do the wedding ceremony. Monica was very helpful and there at all hours helping us with everything we needed. Dee delivered us the most delicious breakfast every morning and again was helpful and there at all hours of the day well out of business hours helping us with what we needed and making sure everything in the house was in perfect condition 24/7.
The house was also very secure, with all doors locked at ALL times. We felt very safe and secure there.
We reserved the entire house for three days for our destination wedding. The space has so much charm, it's warm and inviting. The gardens are gorgeous and perfect for an intimate c...
eremony. You can tell Monica, the owner, has put a lot of work into the Inn. She's very passionate about the property and has built a beautiful space. Between her and the wedding coordinator, Kristen at PK Events, our celebrate was just magnificent.
Staff was so accommodating and kind. We primarily worked with Dee, who was just amazing, very helpful, a lovely person. Any time we had a question or problem, she was quick to find a solution.
All of our guests raved about the breakfast, their rooms, and the inn's antique charm. We were so happy to have found this gem, it made for a perfect day. We're planning on coming back in the future for anniversaries.
A year ahead of our wedding, we travelled to New Orleans (from Houston, TX) in search of a venue. We toured numerous locations, none of which were quite what we were looking for, t...
hat is until we found The Canal Street Inn!
We were thrilled with the venue, especially as we learned of the wedding packages available to us (by PK Events), consequently making our destination wedding planning so much for manageable. We met with Monica Ramsey (Owner/Manager of The Canal Street Inn) and Kristen Rauch, of PK Events during that trip and very quickly felt confident that our event would be a success, and that Monica, and her team would take care of every little detail for us, and they did!
Our wedding was smallish, 40 guests all told and of those 40 guests, more than half (including us) stayed at the inn. We decided to book the entire inn (11 rooms) knowing that having those important people close by during our wedding weekend would make it that much more special! The Inn felt like our home for the duration, and I know that this is what the staff at the Canal Street Inn wanted. We felt welcome, comfortable and relaxed during our stay and so did all of our guests.
The biggest challenge for us was relinquishing all responsibility and having someone else handle the details, but we’re so pleased that we did, and we need not have been concerned at all. Food, accommodation and Wedding Ceremony and reception was impeccably handled, down to every last little lovely detail! The Canal Street Inn team was amazing from beginning to end; we highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a New Orleans wedding. Monica (Owner/Manager), Julia (House Keeper) Judy (Chef), thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your passion, your dedication and your creativity. All of you played a major part in making our wedding weekend and wedding day personal, unique and unforgettable!

eet Inn (or elope there!), please do. It's beautiful, quiet and the staff there are as nice as they come. It really was a perfect weekend. Thank all of you!
The Canal Street Inn is beautiful. When we stumbled upon the posting here, we knew we had found what we were looking for. Monica is amazing, and she really helped ensure everything...
went well. Kristen, our wedding planner, was amazing and helped to get me in touch with all the other vendors contracted with the Inn. The wedding package ensured we had everything we needed. I cannot recommend the Canal Street Inn enough. Our family loved it. The food was great, the staff was accommodating, and the wedding went smoothly. If we had to do it all again, we would choose the Canal Street Inn without a second thought.
We would give them more stars if we could! The entire staff is amazing, and so welcoming and accommodating! They made our tiny wedding feel like a fairy tale. We had to make a l...
ot of sacrifices due to COVID, but every moment of our day was magical and sweet. The venue is cozy, clean, and on a trolley line so you can get everywhere. The house is beautiful and the people even more so. The food was to DIE for! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
What a fantastic experience! I spoke with Monica about renting a room inside the bed and breakfast for my daughters wedding weekend. I was looking for a place for the bride and mai...
d of honor to spent the night together Friday and a place for the bridesmaids to have their hair/makeup/ dress for the wedding Saturday wedding day. She said, "I have something much better that I think you'll be happier with".
She met me at the home that is located on the property with its own entrance and designed for bridal groups, bridal showers, or honeymoon. This set up was perfect! There was more than enough room for all 8 Bridesmaids, Bride, plus all the additional family members who came to have their hair and makeup done; we had 4 technicians coordinated together applying makeup and hair all at the same time.
There is a large sunroom located off the kitchen where the girls could sit afterwards and relax before dressing, livingroom, plenty of counter space in the kitchen, large bedroom/bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, and closet space where all the girls could store their dresses for Saturday. After dressing, the girls all went inside the B & B to take pictures making it a beautiful backdrop for the 1st pictures before the wedding.
We set up a Mimosa Bar Saturday on the Patio with snacks for the bridal party and guest that stayed at the B &B, which was an additional plus, since we had family/friends in town staying at the B &B for the wedding. Everyone said the breakfast was spectacular!
The Canal Street Inn was the perfect choice for us. Monica was so helpful throughout our experience as well as making all our guest feel so welcomed. Thank You!
