Kristen was so accommodating, she was willing to make adjustments to our contract when I decided I wanted to do center pieces. She is so talented and creative. She created a vision board for my ideas and made our floral vision come to life! She was truly a dream to work with.

Kristen & her team at Yellow Canary far exceeded my expectations! I had some ideas in mind for the florals, but what they created was EVEN BETTER! The arrangements they created were romantic, dramatic, whimsical, and truly so special to us! We received so many compliments throughout the evening about them. Some background: We had run into issues with a former florist we had hired who ended up being a scammer just a few months before the wedding. Yellow Canary stepped up and made us feel so assured that everything would be ok and that they could pull it all together even in the shortened amount of time. I’m actually so glad things happened this way (despite losing money with the old florist) because we were beyond thrilled with what they accomplished! Kristen and her team were attentive, anticipated our needs, followed through with every promise, were always on time, were transparent about costs. I can’t even express how much I recommend them! Kristen and her crew at Yellow Canary were amazing! She met with us to discuss our wedding plans, and immediately she understood our vision for decor and floral arrangements. She even worked with us on a custom built wooden structure for the backdrop of our ceremony. The bouquets were perfect, exactly what I had envisioned, and the table centerpieces were beautiful. We went in with a vague idea of what we wanted for our December 2019 wedding in terms of floral color and design. Kristen was amazing helping us identify exactly what we wanted and how to make it come to life for our big day. We opted for neutral and blush tone flowers and Kristen knew exactly the right flowers and the perfect touch of greenery. She even made a point to incorporate my favorite flowers, orchids and lilies, especially in my bridal bouquet. Most special for me, she was able add my late father's silver cuff link to my bouquet. We also included cascading florals down our wedding cake and it looked absolutely magnificent. We would highly recommend Yellow Canary to everyone looking for the best florals and design for their big event. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and that included our incredible bouquets and floral decor!!

Kristen was amazing to work with from the beginning. She was able to listen to exactly what I wanted and take her own creativity and make it into something special and beautiful. The flowers we absolutely STUNNING and we received a ton of compliments on how beautiful they were. The bouquets were sturdy and exactly what I had hoped for. The quality and service provided were above and beyond what I expected. She has worked in the industry for a while and that experience is a huge benefit. We didn't have to worry about anything, she had it all covered and it was seamless on the day of the event. We are obsessed with the flowers and the Yellow Canary team's skills!

My two older sisters both used Kristen for their weddings, and each time was more amazing than the last so I knew that I HAD to have Yellow Canary do the florals for our wedding. And let me tell you they did not disappoint! From the beginning, Kristen really understood my vision and what I was envisioning for the big day, and she executed it PERFECTLY. Everything from all the candlelight, to the amazing floral arrangements, to the floral chandelier was so gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I met with Kristen at the beginning of April for about an hour going over what I was looking for and her providing ideas. I was super excited to book them for my wedding in July. She said she'd be getting me a quote in a few days. She never did. I followed up twice in April, and finally got a response to my second email at the end of April. She said things had been a bit crazy and that she'd send me a quote the following day. I never got the quote. I followed up 2 more times and received no response at all. At this point it was middle of May and I had to restart the search for another florist. I was really disappointed because I felt like I really liked what we had talked about and just couldn't believe that I was getting no response what so ever. I tried being understanding, figured it must be super busy, but there is absolutely no excuse for not getting back to customers. I see that this has happened to at least one other bride in the reviews posted here...

Beautiful work! Kristen is a master at what she does and day of makes magic happen with her floral and design! She is so down to earth and a joy to work with! You are able to give her little notes about what you want and she just draws away and makes it all happen! Super reasonable with pricing and highly recommend! All my guests raved about the floral and for a second was unsure if the floral were fake or real they looked that perfect! Working with Yellow Canary was by far one of the best experiences I had planning our wedding. Instantly, Kristen puts your mind at ease with her kindness and attention to detail. She is a visionary! Kristen was wonderful to work with. We went in with only a handful of images and our color scene and she created an entire vision board for us to help us identify the look and feel we were going for. The flowers were exactly what we were looking and they were quick to respond with any of our questions/additions.

Kristen and the folks at Yellow Canary are wonderful. Kristen was so accommodating and met with us several times to make sure we were on the same page for floral arrangements. She even did a mock up and brought it to the venue so that we could see how the different arrangements would look in the space. We had them do a bridal bouquet, flower crown for the flower girl, and then large and small centerpieces for the tables and around the event space. Kristen incorporated the colors and blooms I wanted, and even incorporated elements from our Monet wedding cake in the floral arrangements. Working with Yellow Canary was a no-brainer.

Wow, Kristin and the Yellow Canary team did an amazing job for our wedding. We could not have picked a better florist, we were absolutely impressed. We received so many compliments from our guests that our wedding looked like it was right out of a magazine. I told Kristin that I have been a big fan of hers for years, her work stands way out among other florists and it's very noticeable. When we first met with her, she understood my vision right away and really listened to what I had to say. She put together exactly what we were looking for and it couldn't have gone any better. Kristin is someone you can really trust with your event, she is very detail oriented and has a great eye for what's needed. She's a pleasure to work with and I would put all of my trust in her again and again. Perfect Choice!

The flowers completely made our event, everyone who came commented on how beautiful the centerpieces, bouquets, and garland were. The day after the wedding everyone was fighting over who got to take home a centerpiece! Kristen and Ginny are so responsive and easy to work with. Since I don’t know a rose from a daffodil I simply gave them my theme and a couple pictures and let them work their magic. I highly recommend Yellow Canary! You won’t be disappointed 🤗

We worked with kristen to create an English garden party theme so flowers were extremely important to this concept and they delivered. The flowers were beautiful, the arrangements were gorgeous and my bridal bouquet was just what I envisioned. We loved them so much we rushed them to the floral preservers the next day!

I was very excited to work with Yellow Canary, unfortunately after meeting with me I never heard from them. I followed up with an email about a week after our meeting. I received a reply stating in another week I would get our quote. Never heard back.

The flowers were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Kristen listed to our needs and was very fun to work with.

I was and am still extremely satisfied with the service provided by Yellow Canary. I was able to meet with them and share my ideas for our wedding and reception. I got example ideas for arrangements from them after the meeting, which indicated that they took my ideas and vision seriously and created a plan for me. From there, we worked together to finalize a plan. The best part is that they respected my budget and worked to provide top quality service in my price range. The arrangements were stunning. The colors were vibrant and the flower quality was high. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed by my guests and many others who saw pictures online. I said in my opening sentence that I am still extremely satisfied. I got married a more ago & my bridal bouquet is still serving as the centerpiece on my coffee table. I cannot believe how long they've survived without preservation of any kind. Every interaction was positive and the flowers were beautiful. I highly recommend using Yellow Canary for any floral needs.

Kristen and Ginny were fantastic to work with! I had been recommended them by a friend who is a wedding planner. When I met with Kristen I told her I have no knowledge of flowers, but showed her the look and feel of all of the decorations I had planned, as well as images of my dress, the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmens' suits-- she took it and ran with it! What can I say about Kristen Sekowski....brilliant. Kristen worked with me for a year and a half on my floral vision for my wedding over labor day weekend at Drees Pavilion. She took my vague visions in the beginning of planning and crafted a proposal and won me over right away. She is personable and really listens to what you envision. She was willing to facetime me multiple times (as I was a bit of a drive away) in order to stay on the same page! She also went to my Drees Pavilion reception two hour details meeting to stay in the loop. As time went on and I came up with new ideas, she was willing to change things around and keep everything within my budget. She does not sacrifice quality which was so important to me. Even when my flower girl broke her leg and was in a full leg cast before the wedding she was willing to try to find a beautiful wagon with floral arrangements! She truly made my floral dreams come true. I highly recommend yellow canary!

When I got engaged, there was no question that we would be using Yellow Canary for our flowers. Our center pieces were perfect. My bouquet & all of the flowers in our ceremony were gorgeous. Kristin was great and really took the time to figure out what I was imagining and then made it happen!

I have used Yellow Canary/Kristen for both of my daughter's weddings.I cannot begin to describe her talent and how she exceeded every expectations.She is a mindreader and was able to figure out exactly what we wanted, even when we were not able to articulate it.She is so easy to work with and has wonderfully unique ideas. I absolutely loved everything from the amazing tablerunner made out of greenery, she arranged the dessert table and it was stunning. She thought of everything and put floral touches in all the perfect places. Every bouquet and arrangement was everything we wanted it to be. The colors she found were perfect. Our guests raved about how beautiful the wedding was. Our venue was beautiful and Kristin took it to another level of amazing. I had all the trust and faith in her and she did not disappoint. I have 1 more daughter to get married, and I cannot imagine having any other florist. I cannot rate her high enough....she is the BEST!!

While all the elements of my Wedding were important, flowers were a biggie for me. There is just something so symbolic and magical about them. When Kristen and her team get their hands on them it will take your breath away. Nothing could compare to the feeling of her handing you your bridal bouquet, a flower crown for your niece, and a flower necklace for your godchild. Her artistic eye, use of color, and knowledge of these amazing living things will leave you amazed. Just when you think you have seen it all, you walk into your reception and she has transformed the place. She thought of everything, flower garlands, beautiful centerpieces, dessert tables, she even found me a kick ass ice sculpture (a non-cheesy kind). If you are looking for a florist who will take your vision, and go beyond any pins on Pinterest, beyond Martha’s magazine, book Yellow Canary…just be sure to wear waterproof mascara.

Kristin was wonderful to work with and talked with us extensively about the expectations of the bride and groom with regards to the theme and budget of the wedding.
