Doug and his team were great. We used Candid for our engagement photos, wedding photos, and for our wedding videography as well. They were all professionals, kind, engaging, and made our wedding day super special. Doug has an eye for the 'right shot' and was able to capture some super special moments. He and his team are very organized, clearly masters of their craft, and made our wedding day super easy. If you're looking for a photographer in the Philly area-Doug and Candid is the way to go.

My husband and I used Candid Moments for our videographer. They did such a fabulous job with our short film and editing. My husband and I have watched it so many times. They also had a drone that captured the church and the venue perfectly! I am so happy we used them! Highly reccommend Doug!

My husband and I were so pleased with the way that Doug and Kevin worked together on our wedding day! As soon as Doug arrived, I (and my bridesmaids) felt comfortable and he made the stress of the day go away. The way that Doug reacted to some of the shots when he looked at his camera made me SO excited to see the actual photos! When your photographer gets excited about his own work, you know you're in good hands. We just recently got our photos back and I cannot be any happier! We could not be happier with the service we had with Candid Moments! We actually had two weddings - a small one in Disney and a larger one back home in Philly. Honestly, we didn't think that anything could beat our Disney pictures. Let me tell you, we were wrong. Our pictures are even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We worked specifically with Georgi and Adam, who endured extreme heat to take our photos. They were an absolute dream to work with and had wonderful ideas to incorporate our families and make the whole picture process enjoyable (even with the heat!). Our family and friends also noted how kind and sweet the two gentlemen were throughout the whole day! Most notably, we had issues with the managers of our venue the day of the wedding, and our videographer was unable to be a part of one part of the day. Doug, the owner of Candid Moments, sent us a very sweet email explaining the whole situation before it even became an issue with us. He handled the whole thing so well and we could not be happier with our end result! My cousin will actually be using Candid Moments for her wedding next year and my sister also has plans to do a shoot with them as well! We really could not be more pleased!

I truly could not have asked for a better photographer. They made me, my fiance and the whole wedding party completely at ease, and got some of the most beautiful pictures I could ever have imagined. Everyone I have shown them to has told me they need to be on billboards. We couldn't have picked a better person to capture all our special moments. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Amazingly talented and it was a pleasure to work with Doug on the most important day of my life! I couldn’t be more happy with all my photos! All of our pictures are so stunning that it is so hard to choose which ones are our favorites! Doug made the day run so smooth and stress free as he was so calm and collected even when we were running a bit behind schedule! He made sure all of our props and photos we wanted were taken and didn’t bat an eye when I last minute asked to do a mini photo session outside as it started to snow for about 30 minutes during our cocktail hour! I cannot say enough good things about Candid Moments Photography! My brother had used Candid Moments for his wedding in October 2016, so we were already familiar with the company. The pictures from his wedding were absolutely beautiful, and both photographers had been very pleasant to work with. When it came time to choose a photographer for my wedding, I still researched other companies. However, after speaking with the owner, Doug, we very easily decided to choose Candid Moments. Doug did an engagement shoot for us, and we were so thrilled with the photos - my husband and I are both so awkward in front of cameras, but Doug managed to make us look like naturals. Throughout the planning process, Gina was so helpful at keeping us on schedule and reminding us when we had to make decisions. She is very on top of things! Doug was the lead photographer for our wedding day on April 13, 2019, and brought Matthew as his 2nd shooter. We were absolutely thrilled with their professionalism, but also loved that they were so personable and easy to talk to. It made the whole day so much fun! Matthew even climbed into a cherry blossom tree to shake the branches in order for Doug to get a perfect shot of us under the tree. Their dedication to getting the right shots is just astounding! We received our "sneak peak" photos less than 2 weeks after the wedding, and they are absolutely stunning. We can't wait to see the rest, because we know they all turned out well! My husband and I got married on March 15, 2019 and chose Candid Moments as our photographer. Once we met with Doug in person, we were instantly impressed with not only his professionalism, but with how much he was familiar with our wedding venue (the Talamore Country Club). We immediately knew we had found our photographers. After looking through the photos of the different photographers, we selected Georgi as our lead photographer. We first met him for our engagement shoot in August 2018 and couldn't believe how beautiful the photos turned out! Then on our wedding day we had both Georgi and Kevin as our photographers. They both worked so well together to truly capture all of the special moments throughout our big day. Georgi and Kevin and both so easy to work with and do a great job at making you feel comfortable. If you're looking for a professional, experienced and reliable photographer, then choose Candid Moments. Gina (their office manager) was extremely helpful and thorough at answering all of our questions along the way. Then after our wedding was over, we were shocked at how quickly we received our wedding photos! We couldn't have asked for a better photography team!

AMAZING! We used Doug for both our Engagement and Wedding photos. He was wonderful to work with and went out of his way to be accommodating. Our Engagement photos were so perfect, exactly what we wanted and all the sneak peaks for the wedding so far have been stunning. All the staff I spoke with were always happy to answer questions and assist, even so far as to sending me a few photos early so I could have them to do thank yous. Would highly recommend!

After looking through various vendors in our wedding area we chose Candid Moments Photography to do our wedding, and we made the right choice! From the beginning, Doug (the owner) and Gina (their office manager) were so good about communication and expectations. They clearly laid out what each package included, took the time to see what we wanted out of our wedding photography and helped us choose the right package for us. We did not feel pressured for an up-sell or add-ons that we really did not want. During the planning process, Doug was fantastic, but he’s a busy guy (Because he and his other photographers are amazing)! Gina was AMAZING when it came to communication. And Doug took the time to conference call us a few times while planning the event to help with photography timelines, offer suggestions and make sure we were getting what we wanted. We really appreciated his help and expertise. On the big day though, our photographer was Kevin – and we could not have been happier with him. He called us the week before to finalize timelines, again – offer suggestions and make sure everything was in order. From that phone call we could tell that we were going to have a good time working with Kevin. On the day of, Kevin made sure we had his contact information and kept in constant contact leading up to and during the events. He helped staged the perfect “first look” photographs, and really made the whole process a lot of fun! During the ceremony, I must admit that I was not focused on Kevin, only on my husband to be. But, after doing our first look photos and outdoors portraits before the ceremony – we knew he’d capture everything we wanted. After the ceremony he did an awesome job of keeping to our timeline and commanding the attention of our family – which let’s be honest, for any family – it’s like herding cats. But, they listened to him – we got all our requested family shots with time to spare. At the reception we did our thing and Kevin continued to photograph what we were looking for – the venue, people portraits, candid moments, the details, etc. Our guests were even having a great time with him. I honestly cannot wait to see our photos, I just know that Kevin was the perfect person to capture our big day – and we could not be happier with him and the whole Candid Moments Photography team. They were amazing, and we would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

My husband and I got married at Bear Creek in August 2018 and found Candid Moments from their preferred vendor list. Kevin was our lead photographer, whom we planned an engagement photo session with prior to the wedding day. We did not have a long engagement, and I wanted to get my save the dates sent in a timely manner. This was during a time of very cold weather in January. Our package included a 1.5hr engagement photo session, but it was too cold to be outside for that long. I spoke with the owner, Doug, on the phone multiple times and he arranged for Kevin to meet up with us for a quick 10-15 minute session to get enough photos so I could pick one for the save the dates. They arranged this at no extra charge, and we still had our full 1.5hr session once the weather warmed up. I was impressed with their understanding of my concern for sending save the dates. Communicating with everyone at Candid Moments was easy throughout the planning process. Once the wedding day came, we had Kevin and Georgi. Kevin was WONDERFUL! He captured all of the details during the time when the girls and I were getting ready. He even showed me the easiest way to carry my long train. Kevin and Georgi made a great team and the photos they captured were amazing! I could not be happier with Candid Moments in every single way.

Kevin was out photographer for both our wedding and our engagement photos and I have been so thrilled with what I have seen so far! I can not wait for the next few weeks to go by, so that I can see the rest of them! We had a photo booth as well and our the attendant, whose name I think was Lauren was super friendly as well! I would honestly recommend them to anyone! Doug, was so flexible with everything that allowed us to get the perfect package that fit to what my husband and I were looking for! Every aspect, and every person we talked to was beyond friendly!

Everyone from Candid Moments Photography was amazing to work with. From Kevin and Rustin on the day of the wedding to talking to doug on the phone going over details and packages to Gina answering every email I had practically within minutes of me writing it. They were all amazing. My pictures came out absolutely stunning. I’ve been getting so many compliments. It rained on my wedding day, but Kevin worked magic and made me feel like regardless my pictures were gonna turn out great and that is exactly what happened. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone that is getting married. Love Love Love them!!!!

I highly recommend Candid Moments!! They were amazing from the start. We worked with Doug and Adam the day of, but even talking to Gina; everyone has been awesome! The pictures are beautiful and I can’t stop looking at them! I love how attentive they are; and when I have a question, they get back to me within 24 hours. It was so cold and windy out the day of the wedding but they still wanted to get outside pictures; I am grateful because there are so many great ones and I don’t feel like I am missing out!! I mostly love the "outside of the box" photos that Doug took; never did I think, that I would be standing on a table, in my wedding dress, in the middle of the hotel lobby and it is one of my absolute favorite photos! We met Doug at the Philly Bridal expo. There were a ton of photographers there, but his pictures stood out to me. I appreciate the natural look in the photos- they don't look too staged and they seem to really capture each person's personality. We met at his studio to talk pricing, see pictures, meet Doug, and immediately knew he was the one we wanted. His personality was great- calm, funny, friendly, stress-free; exactly what you want in a photographer that you are going to spend the whole wedding day with. We had a couple phone calls throughout the planning process and he was always available if I had any questions. Day of he was great at directing us as we were taking pictures, was organized, had all his equipment that we needed. He made everyone feel really comfortable and learned all the bridal party and families names! Once the ceremony started, you wouldn't even know he was there, he blended in so well. During the reception, I did spot him in the corner dancing a bit while he was looking for his next shot, which I thought was so cute. Late that night, he pulled us aside to get this awesome rain shot outside, which was so cool. When looking for a photographer, make sure you find someone with a personality you can enjoy because you do spend a lot of time with them! We are so happy we chose him to do our photos!

We worked with Doug Burns on our wedding day. He was so easy and fun to work with. His approach to taking natural pictures was greatly appreciated. The photos came out better than I imagined, and no photo looked forced. They only reflected the laughter, fun, and love that filled our special day. After a lot of research and looking at so many photographers work, I was fortunate enough to find Candid Moments Photography at a bridal show. The owner, Doug Burns, was so kind and I was so impressed with him and his work that I knew that I wanted to have him photograph our wedding. We first met with Doug at his studio where he showed us more of his work, as well as his other photographers work and also went over in detail packages and pricing. He was extremely professional and took a genuine interest in getting to know more about us personally. While all of his team of photographers do outstanding work, we decided to go with Doug because we really loved the artistry of his photos. We definitely made a fantastic decision! We just recently received our photos and are completely thrilled with them! Our wedding day went by so quickly and it was so hard to remember a lot because so much was happening, but Doug was wonderful in having captured all of the moments we were missing as well as the moments we were caught up in! He was so friendly and easy to work with and so many people, especially my mom, commented on how much they liked him. Also, I must mention how fabulous his Studio Manager, Gina, is - she was so quick to respond to any questions I had and was constantly communicating with us before and after the wedding. When we chose to use Candid Moments we chose to work with Kevin as our primary photographer. Kevin was awesome! He was very personable and rolled with the punches. GIna was great to work with as far as answering email in a timely manner and being understanding with everything. The second photographer we had was Daniel. He was very cool. He took a lot of great pictures of my husband and the rest of the guys. I got amazing pictures and I could not imagine my big day without them. Having Kevin be so laid back was a big help. If I had to do it all over again I would still chose them.

We got two photographers and a videographer from Candid Moments, and they were great! We were lucky enough to have the owner Doug doing outr wedding video, and despite his role as videographer he always made wonderful suggestions for creative photos for my hubby and I. They got us a sneak peak of photos quickly after the wedding and did a wonderful job with the photos they provided when they were all ready. In general they were great and I'm so happy we used them!

Candid Moments was the vendor we enjoyed working with the most! Doug and Gina were extremely responsive and professional. Gina always kept us informed on what to expect before our meetings, coordinated our the engagement photo shoot and wedding day details and was extremely helpful designing our wedding album. We had Doug and Daniel as our wedding photographers and loved all the pictures they took. Doug made us feel super comfortable right from our first meeting. He made sure he got all the shots I requested and also got tons of great candid pictures. We're so glad we chose Candid Moments to photograph our wedding. Kevin was great to work with!! He stayed calm, cool, and collected under pressure (bridal party was an hour late to the pre-church photo shoot-- whoops!!) and produced amazing pictures! I (the bride) was worried about not having enough time to take all of the pictures I had planned, but Kevin assured me we'd be fine, and he was right -- it all worked out and I am more than pleased with the final products. My husband and I love our slideshow and we are excited to show all our friends and family photos from our special day. We'll cherish them forever! Thank you so much! :)

Amazing!!! Couldn't have ask for a nicer and more talented group of people! Doug made everyone feel at ease and had the best ideas. We got married in Philadelphia in October and he knew just where to go to get the shot. He is so experienced and such a nice person. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful and we had the best time with Doug and Georgi. They didn't miss a single moment and were not intrusive at all. We have gotten so many compliments about not only how amazing our pictures are but also how nice they were. Gina in the office is also amazing to work with, she is very helpful and quick to respond. Our photographer, Rustin, was awesome. Our engagement shoot made us feel very relaxed. He captured our vision perfectly. We were nervous and freezing the day of our wedding (Thanksgiving weekend), and he kept us calm and collected. All of our guests were commented on how professional he was during the whole event. He was very easy-going and always ready to take any photos we requested. We can't wait to see our finished wedding photos!

CMP is the BEST! We loved working with Kevin. He is a great guy and great photographer. He made sure we were comfortable and got the shots we wanted. He had our list of shots on hand during our wedding and was able to pose us all comfortably. We are extremely happy with our photos and experience with CMP. The coordinator, Gina, is on point! She is always prompt, thorough, and professional with her communication.

We found Candid Moments when we were looking through photo books at our venue, and as soon as we saw the beautiful landscape photos at sunset, we were sold. Doug was great to work with, and is an incredible artist. Gina was also very helpful in coordinating our photos and providing all of the necessary details, and she was always so friendly. We were beyond impressed with our engagement photos, which made us even more excited for the wedding photos. We received our wedding photos today, and I hope it says something that I am already writing the review. We were completely blown away by the emotion, love and happiness caught on film. Doug and Georgi represented who my husband and I are as a couple beautifully, as well as our family and friends. Not only were they great photographers, but they also helped organize the day and keep us on schedule. Doug and his team were amazing to work with! Everyone I spoke to and worked with at Candid was professional, attentive and helpful. Doug and John were amazing the day of my wedding. It was so hot (91 degrees) and they didnt complain one bit nor did our pictures suffer from it. Doug made sure we captured every moment and made sure we were comfortable doing it. He even offered to walk my Grandmother to her car at the end of the night which really made my night! Thank you for everything Candid!

From the moment I began correspondence with Candid Moments, I knew they would do an amazing job. I worked long distance with the team (we live in FL but were married in PA) and we were beyond pleased with every aspect of their service. Adam and Kevin were great - they were fun, kept our bridal party relaxed and comfortable, and took phenomenal shots. Doug is an AMAZING photographer. He caught amazing "candid moments" along with every single formal shot we could imagine. The lighting, focus, and ability to keep everyone feeling comfortable with a camera are just a few of the things this company is amazing at. I don't even know where to begin. I loved working with Doug and his team. From the first moment I met him, he was just wonderful to work with! He gave us great suggestions. He took the most beautiful pictures. His staff was incredible! My husband is not comfortable in front of the camera and they respected his space and still captured the perfect pictures and all the personalities of our group! I loved the packages Candid offers, we were able to get engagement pictures done before our wedding pictures. The engagement pictures were a preview that showed how awesome Doug's work was going to be. We plan on hiring him again in the future for all of our family pictures as well. We worked with Adam at Candid Moments Photography and from our engagement photo shoot to the day of the wedding, he was phenomenal! His creativity, funniness and true talent made our experience nothing short of perfect!

We first found Candid Moments Photography at a local bridal show. When we first met with Doug the owner he explained the entire process from start to finish and was very helpful and offered a variety of wedding packages. We chose Sean Schofield to be our photographer for our wedding. He was an absolute joy to work with and I highly recommend this super talented photographer. He also shot our engagement photos which came with our wedding package and they also turned out amazing. Sean was able to capture the beauty of our wedding and also took photos of all the small details that helped make our day so special. We woke up to a very stormy March day which halted plans for photos outdoors, but Sean was able to make our photos beautiful by choosing unique spaces inside. Our package came with a highlight video which we were able to share with our friends and family which was great. We are now working on finalizing our wedding album. I highly recommend Sean and Candid Moments Photography as a photographer for your next event.

I LOVE DOUG & HIS ENTIRE STAFF! It was such a pleasure to have them be apart of my special day. Everyone that is apart of Candid Moments is so friendly and helpful! I found them from a friends wedding and knew that I had to have them for my wedding. We did our engagement pictures with him and love them. Leading up to the wedding he was very organized, and they were amazing to communicate through via email. The day of the wedding they were very calm and relaxed and made sure that we got through all the pictures that we wanted. Both Doug and Ashley were fun and had a great eye for pictures. A great feature that he had was that during the reception they edited some of the earlier photos and displayed them for my guest to see. I can't wait to see the final product of them all, but I know it will be amazing from working with him for our engagement photos, as well as seeing the previews. I have also gotten MANY complements from family & friends about how much they love the pictures, and I have Doug and his staff to thank for that! We used Candid Moments for our photographs for our October wedding. Doug Burns was our photographer. To say we are happy with our photos is an understatement! My husband and I couldn't resist the urge to look at our "sneak peek" photos while on our honeymoon, and we were just blown away by how beautiful the photos were! My husband and I are very normal looking people, but Doug's photos made us look like were were straight out of a magazine. Among Doug's strengths is his knowledge of venues in the area. He had done shoots in both our church (St. Thomas of Villanova) and our reception venue (Ridley Creek State Park) before, and he knew just the right places for us to take photos. They looked other-worldly, and not at all like standard bridal party shots. Another of Doug's strengths is his use of light and composition. When looking for photographers, I found that many vendors' photos looked dark, but Doug is a master with both natural and artificial light. No weird shadows, and everyone had a very subtle and flattering "glow" in our photos. He also set up our posed shots to look very organic. Our photos look very timeless, not like a lot of the trendy photos you see these days that will be out of style in a few years. Whatever your budget is, do not skimp on photos! It was a stretch for us, but having photos this beautiful is beyond worth it. Working with Doug and his staff has also been a pleasure. We felt very comfortable with Doug from our first meeting with him, and that comfort extended to our wedding day. He also worked well with our friends and family members, including our flower girl who has autism and doesn't always do well with strangers. Doug was responsive and organized, and his services are timely. We had sneak peek photos at our reception, and a slideshow video to share with friends and family within weeks. We have not yet assembled our album, but I have every confidence that it will look beautiful. I don't know how in the world we'll narrow down the photos. My mother-in-law ordered some large photos from his website, and there were initially some errors in size, but Doug quickly redid the prints for her. Thank you, Doug! You have truly immortalized our wedding day.

As soon as we met Doug we knew we had found our photographer. His examples he showed us were amazing. My husband and I wanted unique photos but still have some traditional ones. Our wedding day was perfect. We had great weather for a November 2nd wedding. The sun came through the leaves and gave us beautiful photos. Doug didn't want to stop taking pictures! We added 2 hours to our package and Georgi was our second photographer. Both were well worth it. We even added the photo booth. Niki did a great job and my guests loved the souvenir photos. We didn't want our wedding to end but now we have all of our wonderful photos to remember the night. We will be using to them again and again in the future. I loved them from the first meeting we had with Niki and Doug. Doug was an awesome photographer, we had a second photographer Sean and their photo booth run by Niki. All of the pictures on our "first look" were amazing I can't wait to see the rest of them. They were very attentive from start to finish and replied to all of my questions quickly. We chose Candid Moments because of a recommendation from a friend, besides getting married, this was the best choice we made for the wedding! We worked with Doug (the man who started the business) and Giorgi. They were seriously fantastic, they were so easy going, really helped to bring the stress level down, and were so flexible and willing to do what we were interested in doing. Beyond the service being amazing, the pictures are breath taking. We have received so many compliments and have even been asked for their contact information for friends' upcoming weddings! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. They are a little pricy, but with memories that last a life time, the price point is more than worth it!

I had Doug and Sean as my photographers at my wedding. It was great to have two photographers, so capture both my husband and I getting ready. While getting my pictures taken I was not sure about how they would turn out, but when I saw the final product I was so happy!! I got married at a country club and they found many different spots at the club so not every picture was the same. Doug and Sean were very easy going and made the day perfect!

My husband and I got married this past May 11th and we used Candid Moments Photography for our pictures. We did an engagement session back in the fall and used them for our save-the-dates. My husband and I worked with Doug Burns and his team at Candid Moments Photography to capture every angle of our big day. We met with Doug about 2 months in advance to walk through our wedding plans and discuss each other’s expectations. On the day of the wedding, Doug and his assistant Adam delivered on everything that we had discussed in our meeting. He went to the Stone House on his own to familiarize himself with the reception site and really helped us to work quickly through the photos we wanted so we could enjoy the company of our guests who came in from all over the east coast. About 3 weeks after the wedding we received our proofs and were making selections for thank you cards and canvas pictures. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished products in the upcoming months.

Doug really knows his stuff!! I can't say enough about his work! My friends and family can't stop talking about how awesome our wedding pictures are! We're so lucky to have found him!!!

Amazing! they were great to work with and came up with wonderful photos. I love photography and had a hard time figuring out who to use, but Doug and his crew were perfect!

I have not yet seen my photos but was able to preview a few on the wedding day and they were gorgeous! I can not wait to get the actual pictures. Doug and Georgi were great to work with and I would certainly recommend them to future brides!
