Owners Chip and Jo know that family comes first, and they take pride in being able to bring new families together through their delicious food. C&J Barbeque started off as a small convenience store barbequing meat for sandwiches back in 1981. Over the years, it has grown to a multi-location catering team, feeding locals, music artists, and even politicians alike. Every member of C&J Barbeque is treated like family by Chip and Jo, and the love and community fostered by them is tangible through the amazing food created. Catering to events from 50 to 3,000 people, C&J Barbeque always provides the best service and food. With their true Texas barbeque as the main-event, the chefs also make a mean prime rib, incredible fajitas and can prepare menus with Cajun and southern-style dishes too. With C&J Barbeque, there is something to be enjoyed by every member of your family, lovingly cooked up by theirs.

I grew up in a small town outside of College Station and graduated from Texas A&M in 2016. While I studied Event Planning, I worked at C&J's where I got to learn more about the catering business. After 4 years of hands on experience combined with my knowledge of special events from school, I was promoted to Event Coordinator. While I've catered various types of events, weddings are my absolute favorite! I hope you consider us for your next special event, I'd love to meet you and set up a tasting or consultation.

Miranda and all the C&J staff were awesome to work with! They did our rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner. Both dinners were absolutely fantastic, and all the guests raved about the food. I cannot say how important food was to us for our wedding, and they absolutely delivered! Miranda and the staff were prompt, professional, and handled every request with ease and flexibility. We cannot recommend them enough! From the deviled eggs to brisket and fajitas, everything was amazing, including the service.

We hired C&J to cater our wedding in November 2021. They were very professional and responsive during the planning process, and the price was good. The catering staff was professional and the food was great, as always.

We picked C&J because whenever we go to visit my sister in college station we always eat here. No matter which location we go to the food is always good. I found out on the knot that they catered weddings and decided to give them a look. After having a tasting and finding out pricing and details we were sold. The pricing was super reasonable for how much they do and how much food each guest receives. They were really easy to get ahold of whether it was email or phone call, they would promptly reply. At the wedding, arrived on time and set up buffet style. The guest LOVED it. My parents and I both had people coming up to us asking where the food was from because it was the best BBQ they had ever had. I would highly recommend C&Js they were amazing! We also got married in Brookshire, TX so they do travel.

We held our rehearsal dinner in the big pow-wow room with a buffet-style dinner. Not only was it hassle-free, our guests raved about the quality of the food. We were able to run a tab at the counter for beer/wine/etc. and also for desserts so we didn’t have to choose just a few to offer. As an even better bonus, they packaged up the leftovers for us!

We hired C&J to cater our rehearsal dinner of about 80 people in March. We have a lot of barbeque lovers in our family and everyone was raving about it all! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was amazing (we went with the full service option). Miranda was great to work with leading up to the big day. We would recommend them to anyone!

Great food and quality service. With the full service option, C&J delivered to the venue and had staff keep the buffet line stocked throughout the reception. Also very affordable option for feeding a large crowd (also who doesn't like barbecue?).

We host several large international events and our last one was at TTI's RELLIS Center. Once our guests learned the venue location they all requested real Texas BBQ. I started reaching out to locals and C&J Barbeque keep coming up when asked about their favorite spot. Our guests were not disappointed. Food is a big deal and is the number one complaint from guests at big events. I'd hire them again as our guests were happy!

C&J’s BBQ, Miranda and the whole team made our catering process so easy and stress free! Not to mention the food was AMAZING! We had so so many compliments from our guests about how awesome the food was. If you are looking for the best bbq around and great service for your wedding, you must book with C&J’s BBQ! They have very reasonable pricing and make the whole process so easy for you, it is beyond worth it!!
