C&J Entertainment DJs, Bands & Strings

Would highly suggest booking with C&J Entertainment!

dreaming about forever; the dance floor was packed from start to finish. My husband and I had crazy busy schedules leading up to our wedding, but Chris was very proactive and organized, and was always available if we needed him, whether that was over email or on a quick phone call. We were pretty indecisive and changed our slow dance songs multiple times close to the wedding day, but Chris was super quick to cut/edit and send them back to us for review (along with the mother-son/father-daughter dances). He sent several different versions and was really good at incorporating our feedback. One of the songs was also particularly difficult to edit, but he did an excellent job cutting it down! We had a good sense of what songs we wanted to hear, and Chris made sure to include all of our must-plays throughout the night. The most impressive part of this was his ability to read the crowd and know what songs to play. Although most of our songs came from the playlist we gave him, the songs outside of that still fit our vibe and music taste perfectly, and everyone had an absolute blast. There were songs for everyone, and he played them in a way that got guests of all ages dancing. It’s been a month and our guests are still raving about the incredible energy at the reception and how that was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! I know for a fact that wouldn’t have been possible without Chris’ help. He did a wonderful job at keeping things moving smoothly and efficiently, from the start of cocktail hour to the very end. Looking back on everything now, it is clear that Chris cares about making your day one to remember, and he really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted. By the time the wedding came around, he knew exactly what he was doing and knew exactly what we needed. You can trust in him from day one. If you need a DJ/MC, Chris is your guy! Thank you, Chris!

nts' (like first dance, introductions, cake cutting, etc...) ran smoothly. The music selection was excellent, transitions between songs were flawless, and his equipment allowed for you to actually hear the songs instead of just blasting. His attention to detail and ability to read the room made a real difference for our day. We highly recommend DJ Chris!

kept us informed of what was coming next in the schedule, and was sure to play my favorite song when I was on the dance floor! We couldn’t recommend DJ Karl enough!!

an all around great guy and had everyone up and dancing alllll night!

nge a thing!

and efficient. Communication from the beginning of our meetings through creating our playlists and even after the wedding was direct and easygoing. This vendor did not create a stressful environment at all and worked with us throughout the wedding to accommodate any event that came our way. If you would like one less thing to worry about definitely go with this vendor!! He made the experience that much better!! I would definitely recommend him and would book again.

ore and he read the vibes of the crowd playing the right music for not killing the environment, I’d definitely recommend him as your DJ, he is an amazing one!!;)

gestions seamlessly and provided helpful guidance on the required music and speaking cues throughout the day.

hing we wanted. We had two meetings to discuss song choices, timelines, etc. He provided feedback and assisted us with different wedding logistics. Chirs was very communicative, he responded to emails in a timely manner, edited music for our first dance and answered all my little questions. He stuck to the list of music that we gave him, and made sure to keep the dance floor full the entire night. During cocktail hour and dinner, he played romantic music that set the mood for the evening. Everyone told me that my wedding was one of the most fun weddings they had been to because they had so much fun on the dance floor, and that is thanks to Chris. He was able to read the room expertly; he would play fun top hits, to slower dances, to throwback songs. He was able to go with the flow as things were changing on the actual wedding day, and he worked well with my other vendors. Thank you Chris!

h dialogue. We had two meetings before the wedding to discuss what we wanted out of cocktail/dinner music and music for the rest of the night. He understood exactly what we wanted through the night. When we did request last minute songs he made sure to keep the flow of the party by adding the right lead in songs. There wasn’t an abrupt change in the flow. My dad had a very specific song he wanted for our dance from YouTube. Chris picked it up, did some editing, and it was perfect! He also helped nudge my husband to the dance floor when we got separated for one of our must plays, which I’m so appreciative of because the moment my husband and I had was one of our best! You can’t go wrong with Chris. He is incredible!!

flow of our day. He also spent a generous amount of time working with me on my day of timeline to make sure we had a song to cover each portion of the day. I had Karl Hunt as my day of DJ, and he was exactly what we were looking for. We had a lengthy timeline and a lot of unique events, and Karl jumped right in and absolutely nailed it. He brought a fun and calm demeanor to the event and did everything just as we asked/hoped. I 10/10 recommend C&J Entertainment Agency and DJ Karl!

he day of, he kept everything on schedule and did an amazing job of balancing everything we wanted to play, reading the room for what the guests were into for dancing, and MCing just enough to keep things flowing. He is also just a genuinely nice guy - super kind to us and any family that he interacted with! Thanks Chris!

l as we navigated choosing best songs for each segment to orchestrating perfect wedding. Happy bride and parents, Thank You! Trudy, Mother-of-the-Bride

made sure that we had meetings to review our music selections and the timeline for our wedding. During the wedding itself, Chris was on time with every song that we selected for the ceremony and made sure that things flowed nicely for the cocktail hour and reception. We had also hired a saxophonist for our reception, and they worked together seamlessly to keep the party going. Everyone was on the dance floor and we truly had the best night. We couldn't thank him enough for making sure that our wedding music was amazing!

everyone and that they flowed well throughout the day. He was always quick with communication and we felt like he truly cared about us! Chris’s knowledge of our venue was one of the major selling points for us and he did not disappoint. He had a great rapport with the Governor Calvert staff which made everything go smoothly. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a great DJ that keeps the dance floor crowded all night!

edit our first dance song, as well as work through our list of must plays. We fully trusted him to include songs we wanted while also keeping the party going and managing the whole event. He was fantastic! We would strongly recommend him to anyone getting married/hosting an event.

set the mood during the ceremony, creating a romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the moment. Then, when it was time to celebrate, he turned it up for the reception, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. Not only did Chris deliver on the music, but he also helped us with the timeline and acted as our MC, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. His ability to read the crowd and keep everyone engaged was impressive! If you want a DJ who can create the perfect atmosphere for every part of your day and knows how to keep the party going, we highly recommend DJ Chris! He is very easy to work with, professional and fun! He made our wedding an incredible experience that we and our guests will cherish forever.

ng calls to lock in the songs for the ceremony and all the important moments of the night, and Chris was so helpful in guiding us through the process. His advice was spot-on, and it was such a pleasure working with him. He kept the party going, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Thank you, Chris!

wedding. He not only helped us plan our songs, but he helped us structure and plan our whole reception. He played all the songs we loved and even though our wedding was very small, he kept the party going! I can’t recommend Chris enough!

ices that complemented our must plays.

for the ceremony and reception, what equipment we needed for the ceremony and reception, and what kind of vibe we wanted for the dance floor. On the wedding day itself, Chris was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything went so smoothly. Our friends and family had a blast on the dance floor. We would definitely work with C&J entertainment again and highly recommend DJ Chris!

e company are. He took the time to get to know our musical preferences, which really showed during our conversations and on the big day. The night of our first phone call, he had already expertly cut three different versions of the song we had chosen as our first dance song, one of which was the one he played for us 13 months later. While I know we could have left all the other musical choices in his hands, he was also very receptive when I wanted to compile my own playlists for different portions of the day. He provided guidance on the number of songs to play, when we should play slower songs, what kind of song we should use to start, say, the dance portion of the reception, etc. It was priceless to hear the songs we had carefully chosen play on our day. It was hugely cool of Chris to be that collaborative with us. Throughout our phone calls and emails, Chris was always a great listener. He worked across me and our wedding coordinator very well. I never had to worry about him or the high quality of the services he provided. On the wedding day, he was just as friendly as ever and interacted with guests in the most awesome of ways. I highly recommend C&J Entertainment, especially Chris. You’ll be happy you did!

are very thorough in nailing down the wedding day timeline, everyone’s names, and the songs to go with each specific event. For some events, the groom and I couldn’t come up with any song ideas, but Chris made recommendations that fit great with the rest of the music we picked for the wedding. We specifically requested DJ Karl based on the amazing reviews he received online and he did not disappoint! He played all of our must-plays and filled in the remaining gaps perfectly, reading the vibe of the guests and matching their energy.

industry shows and you will not be disappointed if you book him! Our guests loved him and he kept the party going the whole night and no one wanted to leave the dance floor! Highly recommend him and his team if you are looking for a fun and memorable experience!

ris not only met but exceeded all our expectations, making our special day truly unforgettable. During our outdoor ceremony, with a road right behind us, Chris worked his magic to ensure that every guest could hear us clearly. His attention to detail and proactive approach during the planning process was incredibly reassuring, especially for a meticulous bride like myself. If you're someone who sweats the small stuff, trust me, Chris is your guy! When it came to the reception, Chris was nothing short of spectacular. He effortlessly played the exact songs we wanted, and to top it off, he kept checking in with us throughout the night to see if there was anything else he could do. It was no surprise that two couples approached us during the night, eager to get his contact details for their own weddings next year. With his wealth of experience evident in his seamless professionalism, it's clear that Chris has handled countless weddings before ours. His expertise and finesse left us utterly impressed, and we can confidently say that every penny spent on his services was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Chris, for making our wedding day an incredible, music-filled celebration. Your talent and professionalism truly set the tone for an unforgettable evening. We cannot recommend him highly enough to any couple looking for a DJ who will go above and beyond to make their wedding day perfect.

e dancing portion of the evening, he used our prepared playlist but also added in some other songs - absolute fire! We had so many guests compliment the playlist and ask us about it. We could not recommend him more highly!

d and he asked great questions about each part of our day (ceremony/cocktail/dinner/reception). We did tell him to “feel the room” (there were 19-70 year olds). He played a variety of music at the perfect time and everyone continues to say it was an amazing wedding. We 100% recommend C & J for any of your events. Thank you Chris, Daniel & Lora

ng all night long, solidified him as an invaluable part of our special day. We wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone in search of a DJ who goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless and unforgettable celebration.

anted to use him for our wedding one day. Super easy to get ahold of, open communication, just overall great to work with! He is super talented. He keeps the party going for sure! Super helpful with planning the evening as well as far as first dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc!

me to choosing music. Throughout the wedding planning, he helped us ( A LOT) with our timeline and would ask what we wanted and would give suggestions when he thought something different might work a little better. Every suggestion he made was PERFECT and made the evening go and flow that much better. You can really tell he has been doing it for years and knows what he is doing. Our dance floor stayed busy the entire night and we owe it all to him! He listened to what we wanted and just blew us away with what he gave us. The night was SO much fun. We honestly had no hiccups and he was so communicative during it all which put me at ease. We interviewed over 4 DJs and when we talked to him we knew he was the right fit for us.

ly he let my wife and I make the final decisions. On the day of the wedding he made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He kept the party going and was instrumental on the flow of the evening. Very fun to work with. Great DJ but also a great MC which is equally if not more important. I highly recommended Chris!!

ours straight, then look no further! Chris at C&J Entertainment did an incredible job. Not only did he do an excellent job hosting and mixing, he helped the other vendors out where needed and kept the whole program running smoothly (mega thankful Chris!). He was super kind, consulted us when he needed too, and made the whole planning process so smooth from start to finish. There is a lot to learn when you are a young couple planning your big day together, and the schedule for the wedding day is a BIG one, he helped us get this all together and align the music we wanted for special moments throughout the day. We were super stoked when Chris provided an encore of the best 90s and 00s punk rock EVER and kept the dancing going deep into the evening! We had folks dancing and lip singing who NEVER do that. It was truly a perfect evening with Chris on DJ. Highly recommend.

Numerous people came up to us at the wedding and are still mentioning how amazing our DJ was and how much fun they had dancing. Our guests never left the dance floor.
