little bit of a heads up about canceling they work with you. My guess is some people were rude and canceled last minute because they think they're the only people in the world that matter. My fiance and I were in there for the first time last night and it was great! They played our song for us and were very patient! It was also made VERY clear that some lessons are private while others are group when we bought their dance package. Don't let these other negative individuals fool you. This place is is affordable, friendly, and honest.

I bought the groupon thinking we could do it. We only ended up going to one class which was nice although it only lasted like 10 minutes. But then when I had to reschedule 2 times, the second time, the person complained that I was rescheduling too much and I really need to make time for the dance lesson.... I'm sorry I live kind of far and I'm working with 2 full time working people's schedules here... Not a good impression to leave on me so I never called back to make that second dance lesson... I would recommend a different place.

1/2 hour lessons, 2 group lessons, and one practice party. There is a lot of secrecy regarding how much more lessons would cost after the groupon sessions were done.
We went for our private lessons and had a great instructor, Cassandra, who was really excited to work with us to learn the foxtrot for our wedding dance.
After the second private lesson, we were brought into a small office to meet with the owner and go over pricing for more lessons. We were told that they give a special discount for wedding couples and for people coming in on a groupon. I had already priced lessons with the ballroom dance instructor at my local gym, as well as knowing how much my mother pays where she goes, so I had a dollar amount in my mind that I was willing to pay to continue.
Well, the binder that the owner had pulled out had two possible packages. The 6 lesson package and the 4 lesson package. Even after the "amazing new member discount" they were still considerable higher than both of the other options I had inquired about. He also told us that we have to decide right now before we leave because if we chose to sign up later we would not be eligible for that discount.
We didn't sign up for more lessons but we probably will go back and finish the group lessons that were included in our groupon.
I highly recommend Candlelight for pre-wedding dance lessons. Ask for Giovanni, he was great.

prom-style swaying in a circle. Our instructor, John, was experienced and had a great sense of humor. We learned our dance over 6 lessons which were about 45 minutes long. Our dance was customized to our skill level (minimal) and changed to highlight some moves we were good at/remove some we struggled with. The result was a lovely first dance that our friends and family went wild for. We have some really beautiful photos of our first dance that make us look like we have a lot more skill than we possess! Our dance was ultimately pretty simple, however I think that was just a reflection of our skill level. I think if you went to the studio with a higher level of skill you could learn anything you wanted! There are also group classes and parties that come with the dance package, and we're looking forward to going to those now that the pressure of the wedding is off!

er in my life been spoken to the way that man spoke to me. I quickly hung up and definitely will make sure that none of my friends and family members will go there. I found a great place in glassboro and they were extremely friendly and helpful-the way a REAL business should be run. I am glad I didn't go with Candle lite studio anyway because take a look at their out of date 80's looking website-I couldnt imagine what they have to offer fit their dance lessons!
