We used Candy Haven & Cakes for our wedding cake and dessert table and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out! Our guests loved all of the dessert, there was almost none left!

Candy Haven definitely lives up to their reputation! Our cakes were so delicious and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always answering our many questions and making any changes we wanted.

If you're looking for a delicious cake that is also affordable, look no further than Candy Haven! Both our wedding cake and groom's cake were so incredibly good. We had hardly any left! The staff were super helpful and kind during our tasting and it was a no brainer to order our cake through them.

They did the Bride/groom cake for my daughters wedding 2.4.22. The Brides cake was gorgeous and very tasteful. The grooms cake was awesome also. Thank you for making their day special.

We had ordered a small 2 tier cake and 5 dozen cupcakes. The small cake (6in and 8 in) was nothing elaborate. I canceled my order 27 days before the wedding and was charged a 25% cancellation fee. They had done nothing so far in preparation for this order. We only dealt with the person working the front counter not the cake designer. They asked me to send an email with the photo detailing the cake with chocolate frosting and gold painted around bottom tier. The whole ordering process took 15 min. or less. I guess opening an email and writing down what flavors of cupcakes we wanted warranted the 25% charge.

I highly recommend using Candy Haven! They were easy to work with and were very reasonably priced. They delivered the cake right on time and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much Candy Haven!

I cannot recommend Candy Haven enough! From the day we went into the shop through our wedding day, they were kind and delivered such personable service. Plus their treats are delicious! We ended up doing a dessert table with cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries, and they were all equally delicious!

AMAZING! Candy Haven blew me away from our initial cake tasting to our wedding day. They provided us with so many different cakes and fillings to try for our wedding and groom's cake. We had a four tier traditional buttercream wedding cake and an Oklahoma State University groom spice cake. When my husband and I cut the cake we were in awe with how amazing the cake was. We LOVE candy haven!!! Jane was so amazing to work with and we loved our tasting and the cake that we chose! It looked and tasted INCREDIBLE and we ended up having our entire top tier of the cake leftover which was so sweet because we were able to give some leftovers to our guests who declined because of COVID.

Our wedding cake was SO PERFECT. We got so many compliments on how amazing it looked. We went with the lightly iced cake with flowers and berries on it, and it looks so elegant. Candy Haven absolutely nailed what I was wanting! Also it tasted delicious. Couldn't be happier!

Absolutely fantastic! The first time we tried their cake at an open house, we knew this is who we wanted. The cake is very moist and the flavors are incredible. My cake was a white chocolate with raspberry filling and everybody loved it! We hardly had any leftovers! Whenever we went in for an official cake taste testing, we enjoyed everyone we spoke with. Everyone who works there is very nice and helpful! Highly recommend this company if you're in the area!

The Cake was beautiful and delicious, very pleased!

I did not have any issues with Ashley that assisted us when ordering the cake and doing the taste testing. But I did complain to the owner about how dry the entire cake along with the grooms cake was on our wedding day. She never apologized. She was very rude and defensive. And raised her voice at me. She said,”So what do you want me to do about it?” I tried to explain to her that for $486.00 it should not have been dry and how all of my guests complained about it. And pushed it away after one bite. She made it quite clear I was not going to get anywhere with her. I miss the days when the customer was always right. I will not suggest anyone use this vendor for any occasion.

Their Cakes are absolutely AMAZING - I couldn’t stop eating it. It was our wedding cake we had three tears and then a groomsman cake. I used this bakery for my wedding and for my brothers birthday. They were patient, kind, cheerful, helpful and overall great quality. They gave us many helpful options on design and flavor. They also gave us the chance to send in our own designs from pictures later when we had thought it over. We even brought in color samples so that our colors would match the design on our cake. Delivery was great and the same quality service was given for my brothers birthday. We have bought donuts, cookies, chocolates, cupcakes, and cake from the shop. Very happy.

We used Candy Haven for our wedding cake and were so pleased with them! Not only was our wedding cake beautiful but it was so delicious! Candy Haven was a pleasure to work with from the cake tastings all the way to delivery and set up. They placed our cake topper on flowers on the cake just like we requested. If you're getting married in the Denton area, definitely look into using Candy Haven- they're reasonably priced and very professional!

Ashley was amazing! Our cakes were beautiful! They specifically dyed the cakes to exactly what I wanted. The cakes were delicious and beautifully decorated! We even got 75 chocolate covered strawberries! It was the perfect! I will say they forgot the cake stands, but drove all the way back to Denton and they were there in time and never even blinked. I highly recommend Candy Haven!

The candy haven was awesome! the planning process was really easy and stress free. The cake was delivered as scheduled and was Gorgeous. My bride and I were so busy we didnt get to tast much. Candy Haven gave us a perfect "barely iced" wedding cake and a custom groom's cake for an awesome price. They also have a deal where they throw in chocolate covered strawberries if you book the same day. They were nice during our tasting, delivered on time for the wedding day and it looked even prettier than we imagined it would! Tasted so fresh and many of our guests told us they loved it!

I ordered a large batch of cookies in every flavor to serve alongside the cakes at my wedding. The cookies were amazing and I had many guests comment on how tasty they were. I had to transport them all the way from Denton to Tyler, but it was totally worth it.

I was honestly a little worried about using Candy Haven because of some yelp reviews, but was very pleased with our final cakes! Ashley was so easy to work with and our tasting was so fun. I LOVED our cakes and so did our guests. Even my husband who hates icing loved his groom's cake (icing and all). I also asked them to recreate the top tier of my parent's wedding cake. All I had was a fuzzy picture, but somehow they got it exactly like they remembered 38 years ago, and the price was great! As a Denton resident, I was already familiar with the quality of cakes that Candy Haven puts out so when we found out our vendor worked with them we were very excited! We got a beautiful wedding and groom's cake that were absolutely delicious - the guests devoured the groom's cake. I also brought some live plants for them to decorate the cake with and it turned out so pretty!

Best cakes I've ever had! My husband and I got our wedding cake and grooms cake through Candy Haven and they were both absolutely delicious as well as gorgeous! We were able to get a different flavor and filling on each tier and this gave us a nice variety in flavors for our guests. My favorite part though was when I told them I had an aunt that was going to be making me a specific and special decoration to go on the cake, they worked with me to have her place those decorations after it was delivered. It made the cake that much more special! Thanks so much Candy Haven!

My husband and I got our bridal and Grooms cake from here. They were both so beautiful and so delicious we've been receiving compliments constantly on how good it was and people wanting to know where it came from. I would highly recommend their services. One thing to consider if your wedding is outside of Denton County they charge a set amount per mile for delivery but to me the cake was so good that it was completely worth it

We loved working with Candy Haven. My husband and I got married at the Milestone and our cake was included in our package. We met with Candy Haven for a cake tasting (which was soooo good) and then showed them what we were wanting. They were so accommodating and easy to work with! We loved that each layer could be a different flavor so there was something for everyone! Our cake turned out fantastic!

My cupcakes were delicious and beautiful. Unfortunately, they were not really secured in their packaging. The punch out board they used to secure the cupcakes were not punched out all the way and my cupcakes were all over the place. We were in really bad traffic, so we weren't driving fast at all. I wish I had taken a picture before they were ruined. I would've called to let them know about what happened, but we left for our honeymoon shortly after.

The cake was delicious and I didn't need to worry at all about delivery as they coordinated directly with the venue. The little decorations that I added on the cake were a bit pricey considering their simplicity. Overall would definitely recommend!

So we went through Candy Haven because it was included in the Milestone package. Oh ny goodness their cakes are to die for! My husband and I went everytime we were over in the area and bought a new flavor of cupcake. I am so glad my dress fit. Our cake tasting was something out of a movie. So many cake flavors, icings, and filling. I am craving their red velvet as I write this. We went with a cake straight from their book because our flowers were roses and they did a gorgeous three tiered cake with real roses on it. So many people took pictures of our cake. If you have and Instagram look up #sincerelyshaw and you will see what I mean. It was stunningly immaculate. I couldn't have envisioned a more beautiful cake and oh my heavens it was delicious. We got some to go since our venue The Milestone sent us away with to go boxes and this cake is even better for breakfast the morning after your wedding night. I will always use them for any occasions and they will not let you down at all.

We used Candy Haven for our bride and grooms cakes for our wedding in April in Aubrey (through a package at the Milestone). WOW! That's all I have to say. Cake was not my biggest priority because I just never remember the wedding cake at any wedding I have gone to. But both our cakes were so delicious and fed a ton of people (we even ate on the second layer with 30 family members the day after the wedding!). The staff at Candy Haven was helpful, kind, and encouraging and was great when a few extra family members showed up in town the weekend we went cake tasting! Ashley was patient and answered all my questions timely and completely. On top of that, my cake was SO pretty and they took my vision and executed it prettier than I imagined. The pricing was very reasonable and they were willing to put flowers on the cake without blinking an eye (as long as the flowers were there in time which isn't a problem since they give you a delivery time the Monday of your wedding). I would definitely go back and use them for any event not only for their designs but all their flavors were delicious and each layer of our cake was moist days following the wedding!

Wonderful experience! We received so many compliments on the look AND the taste of our cakes!! We had a blast at the tasting, as well. My groom couldn't make it, so Ashley sent us home with a box of chocolate covered strawberries for him - so sweet! CH was superb! We tested their cakes, fillings, and frostings and got to choose our flavors for each layer of our 4 tier cake (each layer of the cake could have two different cake flavors too). They did a wonderful job on the icing decoration (we did a couple simple layers and a couple layers with decorative lace sort of piping). They also offered a "fake" layer of cake which was basically an inedible dummy layer with pretty icing (just for looks). They delivered the cake to our venue the day of the wedding and even put our custom-made cake toppers and floral clusters on the cake at the venue, making sure they looked pretty and were secure. We got compliments from several guests on the deliciousness of the cakes as well as the chocolate covered strawberries.

We've been getting birthday cakes there since I was a child, so it only made sense that my wedding and grooms cake would be through them as well. We weren't disappointed (:

This vendor was recommended through my venue, Harmony Chapel, but since I had purchased my cake elsewhere, I did my cutting cake and the groom cake through Candy Haven, which I picked up the day of my wedding. My nerdy husband the designed he chose, which was an X-Men logo. It was exactly what he wanted. And he said it was very delicious. So did my guests since not even a crumb was left. Would definitely recommend for any occasion. I'll definitely make sure I grab a slice for myself next time.

COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS VENDOR!!! This vendor was on the recommended list for my venue, and they royally messed up my wedding cake on my wedding day. I had given the bakery all of my cake decor, along with my cake topper, and on my wedding day I arrive to my reception to see that my cake has NOTHING ON IT!!! I was about to have a meltdown, and my new husband was having to call the bakery right as we arrived to the reception to see why our cake had not been decorated, and to see what had happened to the decorations we had given them. The bakery explained that they had a mixup, and accidentally put our decor on someone else's cake. It was so infuriating! They said they would try to get there as soon as possible to fix it. I ended up having to stop the DJ from announcing the cake cutting, and waiting on CANDY HAVEN to get there to decorate my cake, so the pictures would have the decor in them. IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING that my guests did not even get to see what my cake should have looked like!!! They decorated it about 2 minutes before we cut it. I already had my bad experience, I just want to warn YOU FOR THE FUTURE, AND SAVE YOU FROM THIS DISASTER. They did not take the time and try to apologize for this inconvenience. I tried to reach out to them, and after 3 failed attempts, and no one returning my calls or emails, I gave up. IT JUST SHOWS YOU WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE RUN THIS COMPANY, AND THAT THEY DON'T REALLY VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS/ CLIENTS!

Candy haven is one of the best bakeries in North Texas! I knew everyone would love the cake and they did! Was beautiful and tasted soo good! The price was a little high for what I would think a cake should cost though.

I knew immediately that I would be selecting Candy Haven for my wedding cake. I had ordered cakes with them before for smaller parties, and my sister had used them for her wedding the year before. It is difficult to find wedding cakes that look amazing and taste great, but that is exactly what Candy Haven provides! I still had guests complimenting the cake weeks after our wedding! They have a wide selection of flavors and icing patterns, so I knew our cake would be individualized to our taste. Their prices are very reasonable, as they include a grooms-cake with their wedding cakes. Our wedding had to be relocated three days before due to Grapevine Lake flooding in late May. They were very flexible about the last minute change. I will definitely continue to use Candy Haven!

I absolutely love their cakes! They have been around for years and know what they are doing when it comes to cakes. I have ordered from them for my 40th birthday cake and my wedding cake. The cakes are so moist and the icing is not too sweet. I would highly recommend them...two thumbs up!

Our venue gave us a credit to work with Candy Haven so as the cheaper route, that is what we chose for our cake. I asked twice, once while visiting the shop and once on the phone, if they did naked cakes and was told yes. When we arrived for the tasting, the event lady told us that we received incorrect information and expected us to change our cake selection to something they did offer on the spot. Needless to say, I was not happy about this. We ended up working through it with her and got a cake with a very thin layer of icing that actually ended up really pretty. There weren't many flavor options to choose from compared to other shops I looked at but the cake tasted fine. I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth for how the situation was handled and was not very impressed with Candy Haven, regardless of the cake outcome.

Candy Haven did not disappoint me! I have been getting my birthday cakes there for years, and they out did themselves for my wedding. The cakes were moist and delicious and perfected the designs we wanted. Everyone raved about the cakes. Highly recommend using Candy Haven!

I was sooooo worried about my cake for some reason. I was worried about the flowers and the colors... I don't know why. Everything was gorgeous and everyone at the wedding commented on how good the cake was! We had amaretto with raspberry filling and it was so good! And a layer of chocolate! And the grooms cake was a poker table, lemon. Really moist, and so well- done. They threw in chocolate covered strawberries which were awesome. Thanks Candy Haven!!!

While they are the only vendor recommended by the Milestone in Denton, TX (a one stop shop wedding venue). The Milestone doesn't recommend anything but the best so I wasn't too worried and was honestly relieved that I didn't have to shop around, compare prices and reviews and make ANOTHER decision regarding our wedding. Candy Haven was wonderful to work with!! We paid a minimal amount to add a few things that wasn't covered by what they have worked out with our venue, and I didn't really shop around so I'm not sure about the value cost wise but they were so helpful and listened to all of our opinions and made recommendations based on that. I had requested some rhinestone quilting on my cake topper and was a little disappointed when I had to go to several Michael's stores myself to find the rhinestones. I assumed those things would be provided (albeit at an additional cost) and when I couldn't find exactly what I thought I was looking for I was a little worried. All worked out great though and the cakes were beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and DELICIOUS!! They even told us the best way to preserve our topper for next year so it wasn't disgusting (as I've heard some are!)

Terrible experience. This place is dishonest and dealing with them is nothing but hassle. They were recommended to us by the Denton country club so that we can get Club discount and a free 1st anniversary topper. Needless to say we didn't get the discount and a year later they want to charge for the anniversary topper. What a scam. Will never buy from them again and will advise my friends and Denton Country club management not to use them. If you are looking for a great bakery, go with Cheesecake Royale bakery. It is a bit of a drive to dallas but 100% worth it.

Candy haven did a fantastic job on both our cakes!!! They worked with me on making the perfect vintage look and also did a great job making a batman cake for the grooms cake!!! And all the flavors tasted great!!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and turned out pretty close to what I had envisioned, it was exactly but it was pretty close! The tasting was great and everything is so delicious! We even got the grooms cake for free and lots of free double dipped strawberries! They were great to work with and our cake was delivered on time and it looks great!

First off, Ashley is adorable, but most importantly a Bride's dream to work with when designing and making your bride/groom cakes! To be able to please my cute outspoken opinionated Southern-belle mom & make her feel at ease so quickly and easily was truly a miracle! I haven't even had my wedding yet, but know without a shadow of a doubt my wedding cake is gonna be one for the books! German Chocolate MOTB 😏

Firstly, I got a great deal on the wedding cakes through our venue so the value was amazing. The ladies who work here have their shit together. You could tell they have been in the business for a while and knew what questions to ask. We came in and they had a whole wall of cake designs for us to look at and choose from. Granted, the flavor selection is limited but we aren't big cake eaters so we just wanted basic flavors. The white chocolate cake with the buttercream icing was delicious! We took it home with us and put it in the fridge and it still tasted great the next day. Definitely glad we went with Candy Haven!

Anyone who has been lucky enough to have a cake from Candy Haven knows they make the best cakes hands down. Anyone who found out I was planning a wedding said I HAVE to get my cake form Candy Haven.
