My favorite part though was when I told them I had an aunt that was going to be making me a specific and special decoration to go on the cake, they worked with me to have her place those decorations after it was delivered. Our cake tasting was something out of a movie. So many cake flavors, icings, and filling. I am craving their red velvet as I write this. We went with a cake straight from their book because our flowers were roses and they did a gorgeous three tiered cake with real roses on it. So many people took pictures of our cake. If you have and Instagram look up #sincerelyshaw and you will see what I mean. It was stunningly immaculate. I couldn't have envisioned a more beautiful cake and oh my heavens it was delicious. We got some to go since our venue The Milestone sent us away with to go boxes and this cake is even better for breakfast the morning after your wedding night. I will always use them for any occasions and they will not let you down at all.

The staff at Candy Haven was helpful, kind, and encouraging and was great when a few extra family members showed up in town the weekend we went cake tasting! Ashley was patient and answered all my questions timely and completely. On top of that, my cake was SO pretty and they took my vision and executed it prettier than I imagined. The pricing was very reasonable and they were willing to put flowers on the cake without blinking an eye (as long as the flowers were there in time which isn't a problem since they give you a delivery time the Monday of your wedding). I would definitely go back and use them for any event not only for their designs but all their flavors were delicious and each layer of our cake was moist days following the wedding!

They also offered a "fake" layer of cake which was basically an inedible dummy layer with pretty icing (just for looks). They delivered the cake to our venue the day of the wedding and even put our custom-made cake toppers and floral clusters on the cake at the venue, making sure they looked pretty and were secure. We got compliments from several guests on the deliciousness of the cakes as well as the chocolate covered strawberries.

ding day I arrive to my reception to see that my cake has NOTHING ON IT!!! I was about to have a meltdown, and my new husband was having to call the bakery right as we arrived to the reception to see why our cake had not been decorated, and to see what had happened to the decorations we had given them. The bakery explained that they had a mixup, and accidentally put our decor on someone else's cake. It was so infuriating! They said they would try to get there as soon as possible to fix it. I ended up having to stop the DJ from announcing the cake cutting, and waiting on CANDY HAVEN to get there to decorate my cake, so the pictures would have the decor in them. IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING that my guests did not even get to see what my cake should have looked like!!! They decorated it about 2 minutes before we cut it. I already had my bad experience, I just want to warn YOU FOR THE FUTURE, AND SAVE YOU FROM THIS DISASTER. They did not take the time and try to apologize for this inconvenience. I tried to reach out to them, and after 3 failed attempts, and no one returning my calls or emails, I gave up. IT JUST SHOWS YOU WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE RUN THIS COMPANY, AND THAT THEY DON'T REALLY VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS/ CLIENTS!

amazing and taste great, but that is exactly what Candy Haven provides! I still had guests complimenting the cake weeks after our wedding! They have a wide selection of flavors and icing patterns, so I knew our cake would be individualized to our taste. Their prices are very reasonable, as they include a grooms-cake with their wedding cakes. Our wedding had to be relocated three days before due to Grapevine Lake flooding in late May. They were very flexible about the last minute change. I will definitely continue to use Candy Haven!

e tasting, the event lady told us that we received incorrect information and expected us to change our cake selection to something they did offer on the spot. Needless to say, I was not happy about this. We ended up working through it with her and got a cake with a very thin layer of icing that actually ended up really pretty. There weren't many flavor options to choose from compared to other shops I looked at but the cake tasted fine. I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth for how the situation was handled and was not very impressed with Candy Haven, regardless of the cake outcome.

d, compare prices and reviews and make ANOTHER decision regarding our wedding. Candy Haven was wonderful to work with!! We paid a minimal amount to add a few things that wasn't covered by what they have worked out with our venue, and I didn't really shop around so I'm not sure about the value cost wise but they were so helpful and listened to all of our opinions and made recommendations based on that. I had requested some rhinestone quilting on my cake topper and was a little disappointed when I had to go to several Michael's stores myself to find the rhinestones. I assumed those things would be provided (albeit at an additional cost) and when I couldn't find exactly what I thought I was looking for I was a little worried. All worked out great though and the cakes were beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and DELICIOUS!! They even told us the best way to preserve our topper for next year so it wasn't disgusting (as I've heard some are!)

Will never buy from them again and will advise my friends and Denton Country club management not to use them. If you are looking for a great bakery, go with Cheesecake Royale bakery. It is a bit of a drive to dallas but 100% worth it.

The white chocolate cake with the buttercream icing was delicious! We took it home with us and put it in the fridge and it still tasted great the next day. Definitely glad we went with Candy Haven!

We had a dessert bar, so we had pies and cookies as well, so we chose their smallest package, which included a 2 layer Brides cake and small Grooms cake (and they still served 80, plenty for our wedding of 130 guests with the other desserts we were serving). The decoration on the cake was simple and understated and exactly what we wanted. Candy Haven was one of the simplest decisions we had to make for our wedding and, as always, they did a wonderful job! Thank you again!
