Candy Haven and Cakes did an AMAZING job on our wedding and groom's cake! They both looked and (more importantly) tasted incredible! They were so easy to work with, the cake tasting was so fun and delicious, and they did a beautiful placing our flowers, cake topper, and dog figurines!

Candy Haven had the most professional wedding cake tasting for us to attend. The cakes we picked and designed turned out exactly the way my daughter wanted for her wedding. The arrangement of fresh flowers on the wedding cake was perfect and they were both incredibly delicious and we had many compliments from the guests. Highly recommend them!

What can I say, y’all. They’re a Denton staple - one of my TWU professors would bring us cupcakes from here every so often. I never even considered going anywhere else for our wedding cake (well, anniversary tier and LOTS of cupcakes, in a handful of flavors). Communication was great; our tasting was fun. They were flexible and willing to work with us even though our event was outside, showed up on time, set the cake up perfectly, and the final product was, of course, gorgeous and delicious and a huge favorite with our guests. Can’t go wrong!

As you know wedding planning can be a big stress fest, but our visit to taste cakes, frostings and fillings was just a relaxing delight. We worked with Melissa as we toured through a mix of cake flavors and styles, just my daughter and her FOB so it was a rather special moment for us too. We ordered a 3-tier rough iced wedding cake with a mix of flavors on each level and we also selected chocolate flavors for the complimentary groom's cake. Candy Haven delivered the cakes day of, and even decorated with fresh flowers we had provided to the cake table. Such a creative presentation, looked like it cost twice as much as it did! And the moist cakes tasted like that too. Very impressed as were our guests....great value too when you drive just a little bit north of DFW area!

We had ordered a small 2 tier cake and 5 dozen cupcakes. The small cake (6in and 8 in) was nothing elaborate. I canceled my order 27 days before the wedding and was charged a 25% cancellation fee. They had done nothing so far in preparation for this order. We only dealt with the person working the front counter not the cake designer. They asked me to send an email with the photo detailing the cake with chocolate frosting and gold painted around bottom tier. The whole ordering process took 15 min. or less. I guess opening an email and writing down what flavors of cupcakes we wanted warranted the 25% charge.

I cannot recommend Candy Haven enough! From the day we went into the shop through our wedding day, they were kind and delivered such personable service. Plus their treats are delicious! We ended up doing a dessert table with cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries, and they were all equally delicious!

I appreciated the affordability of Candy Haven as they were the most realistic with their pricing. The grooms cake was free with the wedding cake purchase. They did a beautiful job of creating my 4 tier wedding cake and the grooms cake to represent the Arkansas Razorbacks where my husband and I attended school. AMAZING! Candy Haven blew me away from our initial cake tasting to our wedding day. They provided us with so many different cakes and fillings to try for our wedding and groom's cake. We had a four tier traditional buttercream wedding cake and an Oklahoma State University groom spice cake. When my husband and I cut the cake we were in awe with how amazing the cake was. You have to book them! Thank you for making our dream wedding come true!

We LOVE candy haven!!! Jane was so amazing to work with and we loved our tasting and the cake that we chose! It looked and tasted INCREDIBLE and we ended up having our entire top tier of the cake leftover which was so sweet because we were able to give some leftovers to our guests who declined because of COVID.

Candy Haven is a Denton staple. We were apprehensive to try them out due to rumors of them being overpriced. However, this was not the case. The service is unparalleled, the flavors are amazing, and the complimentary groom’s cake is an amazing addition to wedding packages! Ashley, the wedding consultant, was awesome. She knows what she’s doing and is so accommodating. If you’re getting married in the area, reach out to Candy Haven first. Our cake was beautiful and our guests loved it!

Our wedding cake was SO PERFECT. We got so many compliments on how amazing it looked. We went with the lightly iced cake with flowers and berries on it, and it looks so elegant. Candy Haven absolutely nailed what I was wanting! Also it tasted delicious. Couldn't be happier!

Very responsive via email. The cakes looked amazing! I as the bride didn’t eat any cake :( but my groom did (both of them) and he said they were tasty! Free cake tasting and it was delicious and plenty! They took my groom’s cake inspiration picture and it was perfect! I recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! The first time we tried their cake at an open house, we knew this is who we wanted. The cake is very moist and the flavors are incredible. My cake was a white chocolate with raspberry filling and everybody loved it! We hardly had any leftovers! Whenever we went in for an official cake taste testing, we enjoyed everyone we spoke with. Everyone who works there is very nice and helpful! Highly recommend this company if you're in the area!

I did not have any issues with Ashley that assisted us when ordering the cake and doing the taste testing. But I did complain to the owner about how dry the entire cake along with the grooms cake was on our wedding day. She never apologized. She was very rude and defensive. And raised her voice at me. She said,”So what do you want me to do about it?” I tried to explain to her that for $486.00 it should not have been dry and how all of my guests complained about it. And pushed it away after one bite. She made it quite clear I was not going to get anywhere with her. I miss the days when the customer was always right. I will not suggest anyone use this vendor for any occasion.

Their Cakes are absolutely AMAZING - I couldn’t stop eating it. It was our wedding cake we had three tears and then a groomsman cake. First there was butter rum second layer was white chocolate third layer was amaretto. Grooms cake was tequila and OMG. Any occasion I have that I need a cake, I’m so going back. I used this bakery for my wedding and for my brothers birthday. They were patient, kind, cheerful, helpful and overall great quality. They gave us many helpful options on design and flavor. They also gave us the chance to send in our own designs from pictures later when we had thought it over. We even brought in color samples so that our colors would match the design on our cake. Delivery was great and the same quality service was given for my brothers birthday. We have bought donuts, cookies, chocolates, cupcakes, and cake from the shop. Very happy.

We used Candy Haven for our wedding cake and were so pleased with them! Not only was our wedding cake beautiful but it was so delicious! Candy Haven was a pleasure to work with from the cake tastings all the way to delivery and set up. They placed our cake topper on flowers on the cake just like we requested. If you're getting married in the Denton area, definitely look into using Candy Haven- they're reasonably priced and very professional!

Ashley was amazing! Our cakes were beautiful! They specifically dyed the cakes to exactly what I wanted. The cakes were delicious and beautifully decorated! We even got 75 chocolate covered strawberries! It was the perfect! I will say they forgot the cake stands, but drove all the way back to Denton and they were there in time and never even blinked. I highly recommend Candy Haven!

The candy haven was awesome! the planning process was really easy and stress free. The cake was delivered as scheduled and was Gorgeous. My bride and I were so busy we didnt get to tast much. But what we did have was incredible. Our only complaint was that we didnt get more of our cake ourselves. But thats a complaint for our guests Candy Haven was Flawless.

Candy Haven made both my wedding and groom's cake. Their prices were very reasonable, and the cakes were very moist and delicious. They were able to recreate the pinterest picture I brought in, and worked very well with my florist and wedding planner to make everything run perfectly. I brought in a design I liked, which was pretty simple and elegant. They were able to recreate it exactly the way I wanted it at a fraction of the cost of other bakeries. The cake was stunning. As a baker I am pretty picky on my cakes but Candy Haven's cake was moist and very flavorful. Will have them do my kid's birthday cakes.

Our wedding was over a year ago, and people are still telling us that our wedding cake was the best cake they'd ever had. I totally agree! The cakes Candy Haven made for us were incredible. We just thawed the top layer of our cake a few days ago on our one year anniversary, and it still tasted amazing. Our wedding venue, The Milestone, worked with Candy Haven to plan everything, and it was seamless. From our first contact, to the tasting appointment, to our wedding day, Candy Haven was great.

I love Candy Haven. I was an out-of-state bride and the Candy Haven staff was so accommodating of all my emails, and the fact that I had to have family members attend my cake tasting for me. Despite never having met them until the week of my wedding, they made my cake vision come true. I provided a photo of my dream cake, and the night of my wedding I couldn't have been happier with how the cake looked; it was perfection. It was delicious and moist, as was the grooms cake which came complimentary with the purchase of our primary cake. I would definitely recommend Candy Haven to another bride.

Candy Haven gave us a perfect "barely iced" wedding cake and a custom groom's cake for an awesome price. They also have a deal where they throw in chocolate covered strawberries if you book the same day. They were nice during our tasting, delivered on time for the wedding day and it looked even prettier than we imagined it would! Tasted so fresh and many of our guests told us they loved it!

I ordered a large batch of cookies in every flavor to serve alongside the cakes at my wedding. The cookies were amazing and I had many guests comment on how tasty they were. I had to transport them all the way from Denton to Tyler, but it was totally worth it.

I was honestly a little worried about using Candy Haven because of some yelp reviews, but was very pleased with our final cakes! Ashley was so easy to work with and our tasting was so fun. I LOVED our cakes and so did our guests. Even my husband who hates icing loved his groom's cake (icing and all). I also asked them to recreate the top tier of my parent's wedding cake. All I had was a fuzzy picture, but somehow they got it exactly like they remembered 38 years ago, and the price was great! Very happy with our experience, besides the taste, the cakes looked flawless. Thanks Candy Haven!

As a Denton resident, I was already familiar with the quality of cakes that Candy Haven puts out so when we found out our vendor worked with them we were very excited! We got a beautiful wedding and groom's cake that were absolutely delicious - the guests devoured the groom's cake. I also brought some live plants for them to decorate the cake with and it turned out so pretty!

Best cakes I've ever had! My husband and I got our wedding cake and grooms cake through Candy Haven and they were both absolutely delicious as well as gorgeous! We were able to get a different flavor and filling on each tier and this gave us a nice variety in flavors for our guests. My favorite part though was when I told them I had an aunt that was going to be making me a specific and special decoration to go on the cake, they worked with me to have her place those decorations after it was delivered. It made the cake that much more special! Thanks so much Candy Haven!

My husband and I got our bridal and Grooms cake from here. They were both so beautiful and so delicious we've been receiving compliments constantly on how good it was and people wanting to know where it came from. I would highly recommend their services. One thing to consider if your wedding is outside of Denton County they charge a set amount per mile for delivery but to me the cake was so good that it was completely worth it
