Candace and Rosie were our hair and makeup artists for my wedding last weekend. We had 5 people total getting services and everyone was finished on time and looked incredible! Both were very attentive to listening to what each girl was wanting, and Rosie was so accommodating to me (the bride) when I wanted to change my makeup look from what we discussed at my trial. Candy Rose Events did hair and makeup on my wedding day for myself and my bridesmaids. Candy and her staff were wonderful to work with. In addition to services on the day of my wedding, I did a trial and hair and makeup for my rehearsal. Each time I needed a service, I was met with welcome and things were always handled in a timely manner. On the day of my wedding, the Candy Rose Events staff was friendly and upbeat. We all loved our hair and makeup and everyone looked stunning! Working with Candy Rose was an all-around positive experience and I would highly recommend her for hair and makeup.

Candy Rose Events was awesome for both hair and makeup. As the bride, I live 3 hours from the venue so I did not do a trial for makeup and it did not matter -- Emily nailed it for me! I was thrilled. My bridesmaids and Mom were so happy, as well. Both Emily and Rosie were so nice, accommodating, on time and very talented. They were efficient and ahead of schedule the entire morning. Highly recommend!

I used Candy Rose Events for my hair and makeup vendor for our wedding. Throughout the whole process, everyone was so kind and professional. Brittney did my hair and makeup for the wedding, and Kailin did the hair of my bridesmaids. They worked so quick and efficiently. Everyone looked so beautiful! I would absolutely recommend using them for your wedding!

I'm extremely self conscious about my appearance. Which is why on my wedding day, with everyone important in my life in the same room, with hundreds of photographs taken of me, I deserved to look and feel as beautiful as possible. And I wanted my mom, mother in law, and bridesmaids to feel the same. Even though I take pride in my makeup technique and can do my own glam look any day of the week, I'm lost when it comes to styling my hair. And I didn't want to do my own look on my wedding day. So, I looked to the professionals. Candace was straight forward from the beginning by providing me with a thorough rundown of her team's services, costs, and logistics. I loved the organization and even though the prices were higher than I was originally comfortable with, again, I needed professionals and I believe that your wedding day beauty is not something to cheap out on. My hair is long and fine so I've always wanted extensions for volume and more length. Before my trial, I went to Sally Beauty Supply to get clip in extensions and I booked my trial well in advance before my wedding day to make sure I had the look I wanted. My stylist Ally was so sweet. She was patient with me through every question I had and worked fast with my hair extensions to achieve a partial updo. To a future bride reading this, COME PREPARED to your trial with the exact photo inspiration you want for your hair and makeup. Your stylists are not mind readers :) On my wedding day, everything was SO SMOOTH. I was so afraid of running out of time but Ally assured me that we were running on schedule and we ended up finishing the entire team of girls plus myself EARLY. (I'm very particular of how my eyebrows are styled so I asked Ally if I could finish styling them myself with my own brow pencil and she said no problem! If you have a specific way you like your makeup, don't be afraid to step in and do something yourself if your stylist isn't quite sure!) I would recommend this team to anyone who wants to look stunning on the most important day of your life. Thank you all!

Candy Rose Events was an excellent company to hire for my wedding. Candace answered every question in detail and was very flexible in changing the schedule and adding services. We had Ally and Felicia as our MUA, they were beyond kind and getting everyone done perfectly in the timeline, I am very grateful they were there on time for our early morning start. I had my trial as the bride with Ally a few months beforehand. It went so well, and the trial was worth it as I learned the airbrush foundation did not work with my dry skin. Ally was onboard to change things the day of the wedding. All the ladies who got makeup and hair felt beautiful and it lasted the ENTIRE day through all the tears! My one bridesmaid who did not get the service even admired how long-lasting everyone's makeup was. My Aunt in law even shared that the team did an excellent job, as she showed them exactly what she wanted and wanted to avoid and they listened. Ally was even flexible to use my own products that I knew did not make my eyes water. She also answered every question in my trial that I shared with the party. And Felicia did incredible hair, it was all gorgeous! The only thing I did notice was a white sheen around the under eyes in the flash photos, but in all other lighting the makeup looked incredible in photos. Thank you Candy Rose Events!

Kailin was an absolute joy to work with and instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She made me feel beautiful and was super flexible with all of my requests. Candace, Robyn, April, and Faith did hair and makeup for myself and 10 other people in our wedding party. They did an amazing job! Everyone loved their stylist and how their hair and makeup looked! They also finished the job early which allowed us to stay on schedule! We got married recently at the Cypress House and Candy Rose Events did our hair and makeup. Candace did my hair and I absolutely love how it turned out! I ended up ordering extensions with her after my trial to get some added volume and I’m so glad I did! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair as well. Brittney did my makeup and listed to all of the adjustments I wanted to make after the trial. I was blown away by how amazing my makeup looked when she was finished and the smoky eye was even better than what I had envisioned! My mom and mother-in-law don’t generally wear a lot of makeup and were also really happy with how everything turned out. They both took their time and made sure everyone was happy with their look and also made getting ready in the morning a lot of fun! Our wedding and reception was at an outdoor venue and despite the extremely warm weather that day everyone’s hair and makeup was still looking good at the end of the night! I highly recommend Candy Rose Events for your wedding or special event!!

I decided pretty last minute I wanted airbrush makeup for my wedding day. Candy Rose was able to accommodate my very last minute request with ease. There were no surprise charges, communication was clear, fees were clear and upfront. Our makeup artist Kaitlin was wonderful. She was professional, so talented, and very friendly. I was nervous about not having time for a trial but Kaitlin really listened to each of us, talked through options, and came through with the look I had in mind so I’m so glad I took the last minute chance!

Absolutely loved working with Candy Rose Events for my wedding! Kaitlin did my hair and makeup trial in May and really took into account any changes that I wanted done. She is amazing at both hair and makeup and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. Makayla also came to do the hair for all of my bridesmaids and everyone loved how their hair came out. Overall I would recommend this company to anyone and would use them again on my wedding day if I could!

I had Candy Rose events for both of my weddings (COVID bride) and I could not recommend them more. They are very responsive, flexible and organized. They came to where we were getting for each wedding early to set up. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend Candy Rose Events to anyone. The whole experience was positive, including communication, the trial, and the wedding day. Candace and her team showed up on time and skillfully completed hair and makeup for ten in a professional (and speedy!) manner. Most of my party (including me) did not have very clear ideas of what they wanted, and the team was able to figure out looks that worked for everyone. I think Candace is a hair wizard. All of the styles looked amazing and held up during my extremely windy wedding. I didn't even mention that the prices are reasonable and fair, especially compared to others I've seen.

Candy Rose Events did my entire bridal parties hair and makeup for my wedding this past weekend. Candy Rose was professional and easy to communicate with. Stylist, Destiny did my hair and makeup trial and spent hours getting it just right for me. :) The day of the wedding the girls were timely upon arrival and super easy to work with. My only recommendation would have been that we had 1 additional makeup stylist. For 10 ladies 1 makeup artist and 1 for me was not quite enough which altered our departure time just a bit. Thank you to all of the girls for great work! We looked amazing!

I am so glad I trusted Candy Rose Events with my hair and makeup for my wedding. Candace, Jillian, Michelle and Cristina were a dream to work with! Leading up to the event, Candace is such a positive person and her communication is top notch. It is also nice how they do not charge extra for airbrush makeup and lashes. On the day of the wedding, you can tell the girls truly love what they do and they are amazing at it. They worked so well as a team, getting 13 women through hair and makeup in 5 hours (and staying on time)! Through all of my happy tears and dance floor sweat, my hair and makeup stayed flawless the entire day and night! You should feel your most beautiful self on your wedding day and I truly did with the help of Candy Rose Events. I cannot thank them enough.

My hair and makeup team was absolutely wonderful! They had a good system set up and worked very well together. They were kind and friendly which I appreciated but I would have liked if they introduced themselves upon arrival. I am so so glad Candy Rose Events reached back out so quickly when I sent a request through TheKnot. I’m not from the area so I was unsure about where to go and had no referrals - and this was the best decision I could have made! All of the girls are still talking about the luxurious face prep, which made us all feel so fresh and awake and relaxed with our early morning start time. Everyone’s make up came out BEAUTIFULLY. As the bride, I could not have been happier how they were able to make me look like myself but better (and less tired lol) on my special day. I recommend bringing some inspiration pictures of yourself or someone who resembles you with make up you love if you’re particular like I am - they do such a great job listening and customizing the routine to EXACTLY what you’re looking for. Cannot recommend this team enough!

As MoB for a discerning and determined bride meant making key decisions a year out, during Covid --Candace was a consummate professional in all interactions leading up to our daughter's beautiful wedding weekend. Choosing a venue well outside of the local geography to our home meant finding PA vendors and putting in the extra time for Zoom meetings, in person and even a repeat makeup trial. First, Thanksgiving weekend 2020 and then again in May of 2021, this time Candace's team travelled to our home and was so wonderful -- even taking the time to thank us for "giving us the opportunity to do your wedding' --- great team, good listeners and talented stylists --- good choice for our cast of 8 women (and even onsite grooming for 7 men). Swift, professional and talented --- what more can you ask for on the morning of your daughters' start to her happily-ever-after? Not much! Thank you Candace and team!!

The duo that came to our home was punctual, knowledgeable and extremely talented. Candace was very quick and precise with the updos. They stayed in all night without concern and were exactly like the photograph shown. Janine was incredibly knowledgeable working with an entire bride party of “just make me pretty” girls. I used Candy Rose Events for my small October wedding. I had originally booked Candace for our wedding that was supposed to be May 2020 in the poconos but due to COVID-19 we had to postpone to the fall and then two months prior relocate to Honey Brook, Pa (no where near the poconos). I had already had my trial in early March and absolutely loved my hair and make up so I was heart broken to think I would have to find new stylists due to changing our venue. Candace much to my surprise said they would make the drive to honey brook so I was thrilled! Not to mention when rescheduling our May date she gave brides who had to postpone first priority and they could pick any date!!! That is huge when trying to work around several vendors availability during an already stressful time! I will also add that the night before my wedding my make-up artist wasn't feeling well and for everyone's safety she couldn't come but Candace was able to find another stylists before even contacting me so I didn't have to worry one second! Lastly I have very curly natural hair and it has taken me many years to finally accept it so I was very nervous about having it curly on my wedding day. Candace reasured me that she could work with curls and she did exactly what I wanted! I would highly recommend Candace and her team, they are so nice, friendly and amazing at their jobs!!

Candy Rose Events was incredible. Even with the world upside down, they were sure to be in touch and proactive. They arrived to our venue EARLY, made everyone feel more beautiful then they ever have, and had a fantastic time while there! We hired a hair stylist and makeup artist, both who were phenomenal. Outstanding technique, custom to whatever we needed, and carried out everything flawlessly. Our entire wedding party, including my mom, looked breathtaking. I cannot say enough about Candy Rose! First and foremost, Candace was amazing to work with in the beginning. She got back to me right away & helped with all my scheduling needs and questions. Jillian was the amazing artist who handled my bridal make up, and I couldn't have asked for a better fit! She was so nice & personable and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything & felt amazing on my day. And the make up, to die for! I felt absolutely beautiful, princess-like even, which is how every bride should feel on their day! And the make up held up ALL NIGHT! (Even with taking my mask on and off constantly) It was all just perfect! We also added on men's services to spoil the guys on our wedding day and they LOVED it. The mini facials & beard care was the highlight of their getting ready! I can't thank all of the amazing people at Candy Rose enough for all of the help & kindness we received! Candace did me and my wife’s hair and Jillian did our makeup. I have no words to the professionalism these two brought on our special day. From the moment we booked, to the moment they left for the day, everything went seamless. My bride was the most beautiful I have ever seen her (she says the same for me). We both love a very natural look and Jillian did exactly what we wanted (plus it stayed put through all the crying)! Our hair was the exact same. I know there is so much stress that goes into finding the right team to trust with your (and your bridesmaids) beauty on your wedding day, but I promise you will not regret trusting this amazing group of ladies. I knew I would love to have her and her team for my wedding in 2019. Jeanine and Candace ("the dream team") did my bridesmaids hair and makeup and I was just in awe of how incredible they all turned out. I really enjoyed my hair and make up crew that came to help me and my girls get ready. They were full of personality and talented in their craft. They used high quality products and made everyone look stunning! I wish they would have used a lip color that stayed put all night. It was off after one kiss. It looked phenomenal prior to that though. Otherwise, they were punctual, prepared and professional. They are also very affordable compared to many of the other vendors in the area. I had to book them very last minute and I do not regret that decision.

I’ve been going back and forth about writing this review but I feel it’s necessary only because I wish I would have seen a review like this before I booked. So I had a pretty specific style that I wanted for my wedding and Candice couldn’t do that. She tried and I give her props for that, but the first trial I had with her, my hair came out flat, barely curled and had tons of fly aways. I asked for a second trial since my wedding was coming up and she gave me the appt a few days for my wedding and made me feel rushed since she needed to leave at a certain time. So she did the same hair again, it looked better but still nothing like I wanted. So the day or two before my wedding I changed to half up, half down and on my wedding day it flattened immediately after she left. I hated my hair for my wedding day. Seeing pictures really upsets me :/ I wish I would’ve just skipped on the second trial and forfeited my money to find someone new. When I kept asking to try different things on my wedding day she said “well just pointing it out it’s getting closer to 2:30” which made me feel super rushed and I ended up leaving with hair I didn’t love.

Getting ready so early in the morning wasn’t so bad when you have these ladies there with their fun and friendly personalities! Candace and Brittney did such a wonderful job with any kind of hairstyles requested and Jeannine was incredible with everyone’s makeup. They are all so accommodating as well with my crazy schedule. Since I am not from the area and live several hours away, Candace was able to work with my limited weekend visit to do my hair trial (she even traveled during a snowstorm!) and arranged for Jeannine to travel to the venue to do my makeup trial a day before the wedding. Candace, thank you for being so helpful and responsive to my messages every time I had questions.

I got married in October of 2018, being new the the Pennsylvania area I didn't have references for my wedding however when I found Candace and her team on The Knot app I was immediately thrilled. She not only responded to my messages right away but was very accommodating with dates/times for a trail due to my crazy work schedule. During my trial her and her team listened to exactly what I had envisioned and the out come was beyond what I had expected. I was extremely happy and knew I was making the right choice. The day of my wedding Candace showed up and immediately got to work... my bridal party, mother, mother-in-law... all were extremely happy with the outcome of both hair and makeup. Not only were they professional but also extremely personable which made it fun and like they belonged with us. All in all... Candace and her team were extremely reasonably priced, accommodating and do amazing work. I can't wait for someone I know to need a reference cause I'll definitely be suggesting her.

I had Candace do my hair yesterday for my courthouse elopement, and she did a beautiful job. Abby did my make up and it turned out stunning. These two ladies are very talented and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you to Candace and Abby at Allure Salon Group. If I ever need hair and make up done again, I will be going to these two. You will not be disappointed.
