to have to build a venue in our backyard, we knew we were going to need some help. Kim was one of the wedding planners I initially reached out to and we hit it off immediately on the phone! We met Kim at our home so that she could get a sense of the layout and our thoughts on the theme/vibe. In advance of the meeting, Kim had already done her homework - she brought information from her vendors and had some initial quotes for us. We signed with her that night because she was the most professional and prepared wedding planner we met. She was also as excited/enthusiastic about the party as we were. And most importantly she understood that we were really going for a “party”- not a traditional wedding - and wasn’t at all concerned about the fact that it was ONLY FOUR MONTHS AWAY! Over the those next few months, Kim was INVALUABLE to me: she was able to direct me to vendors for invitations & photographers, handle all contract negotiation, meet us to finalize all the details around tablescapes and decorations, and run point with vendors on follow up. John and I were very clear about our budget and we actually came in UNDER the budgeted amount (thanks mostly to Kim’s contacts, negotiation skills, inventory of decorations, and creative solutions). I joked that Kim probably should have just stayed at our house in the days leading up to the party. She was instrumental in set up - not only the tables and chairs, but also for the rest of the yard (imagine lights all over the back of the house, lounging areas - really just amazing stuff!). People (including our caterer) told us that we should rent out our home for other couples to get married there - THAT’S how fabulous it looked. And in terms of taking things off my plate…while Kim was at the house putting the most beautiful bohemian chic party together, I was getting a massage, then I went to lunch, met my sister for facials, and arrived back at my home to this magical wonderland. The morning of the party, Kim was back putting the final touches on…and I was out having my hair done. I can honestly tell you that I never ONCE worried about how everything would come out. I implicitly trusted Kim’s judgment and I can tell you that the complements came all night long (and I continue to receive them 2 months post-party). During the party, Kim kept us all on track with the timing for the night, helped some of our older guests with parking, and generally made sure that the evening ran smoothly (which it did!). After the party, Kim was still there helping with clean-up and she was back again the next day to collect the things she left in our garage. John and I left for a small honeymoon and when we were back - it was as if none of this had ever happened. Kim supervised the removal of tents, tables, chairs, and trailers. While I hope that this marriage lasts and I won’t need a wedding planner in the future…I’d absolutely ask Kim if she was up for it again! I would whole-heartedly recommend Kim - when I look back on that night, I can honestly sit here and tell you that I would not change a single thing. And I think that’s really the best that anyone can hope for when throwing a party of this size.

Kim was wonderful during the planning process - she kept me on track with budget documents and timelines, was my constant liaison with other vendors and the venue, reviewed all of my contracts, and went above and beyond to help me achieve the decor and feel I was going for. I was a bit of a Pinterest bride, and every single thing I loved, Kim helped me get my hands on. She had some decor items I was able to use, and she tracked down every other item I wanted as well. She even had an amazing etched wood welcome sign made that exactly matched the ones I'd been eyeing online. On the day-of, Kim made our lives SO stress-free. She was extremely organized and proactive and kept our rather large bridal party in line. I can't imagine going through the day of without Kim there. She definitely has a passion for planning weddings, she was so fun to work with, and her attention to detail and management style helped ensure the day went off without a hitch. I can't recommend her enough!

n and a courtesy bridal magazine, the moment I remember most is when a bride walked through the door and she embraced Kim. They were friends; it wasn't the normal planner-bride relationship. I wanted to be that bride and on October 18, I was! Kim coordinated every detail of the day down to the timing and table settings. We knew where we had to be and when we had to be there. She was so patient with our last minute touch bases and kept everything organized. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Kim and I'd strongly recommend her to any bride!

My guests couldn't stop raving about her and how wonderful she was. She is extremely organized and knew exactly the style I was going for. She even purchased a chandelier to be used in the ballroom a few weeks before as she knew I would love it. She even texted me the morning of my wedding saying that she was so excited for me to see the ballroom as she knew I would love the final product. I truly cannot say enough about Kim! Kim handled everything, she gave each of them a timeline and coordinated start times, end times and what would be happening all day. We had a very large wedding party and Kim managed to get everyone under control and organized you would have never known we had no idea what was going on. Kim took charge and delegated tasks, put people in line and did not let anyone leave the room. If you are thinking of a wedding planner you will not be disappointed with Kim, she is the best.

equired a day-of-coordinator. Not to mention my dad had gone all dadzilla on me making every decision that much harder. Kimberly got back to me on my inquiry quickly and spent nearly half-a-day going through all my details and managing my father in preparation. She calmed my dad and made sure he and my family were taken well care of on the big day. Any last minute whims I had, including internet orders and a last minute chair and linen order were done instantly and with a perfect eye for my very picky style. Not to mention, it was supposed to rain the day of the wedding, and if I didn't know better I would be convinced she played a role in talking Mother Nature out of it. She was an advocate, leader, and friend all at once. I recommend her to anyone and everyone who wants their perfect pinterest wedding. No matter how organized, creative, and good at coordinating you are, you should really consider hiring this gem of an event planner. Her prices were by far the best and I would never have been able to be so stress free at my wedding without her. She went so very far above and beyond and made my day so perfect. And when my wedding dress's zipper decided not to work, she was there with a pair of pliers and great determination and got the dress zipped. The attention to every detail and care that Kim takes in what she does is evident. She was always quick to answer any questions, always had interesting suggestions to our concerns, and successfully helped us make our wedding unique, which was an important thing to us.
