Our wedding at Cannon Green was truly incredible. From the start the staff was so helpful and nice. Sarah Jones was a dream to work with. She made everything so easy. The venue was stunning and everything I could have dreamed of and more. Definitely one of the nicest venues in my opinion. With an outdoor ceremony in December I was concerned about the weather, but they had heaters and accommodated for the weather. My guests can't stop raving about their time at the wedding. I would recommend this place to any bride looking to get married in Charleston.

As a recently married bride, I can't say enough good things about my experience having my wedding at Cannon Green. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, making the planning process remarkably stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with its historic character and beautiful courtyard. Our guests were wowed by the space and loved being able to flow seamlessly between the indoor and outdoor areas. Having the chairs, bar, desserts, and linens all provided by the venue was such a relief - it allowed us to focus on the fun parts of planning without getting bogged down in logistics. The food was another standout. The selection was incredible, and the quality will impressive even your pickiest guests. Our guests are still raving about the passed hors d'oeuvres and plated dinner, and every food allergy was accomodated for! The intuitive flow of the space also made it easy for people to mingle and enjoy the various culinary offerings. I live in Charleston so I had the privilege of being able to tour many top venues here. For the price, quality of food and service, and location, Cannon Green could not be beat. Overall, I would highly recommend Cannon Green to any couple looking for a beautiful, low-stress wedding experience. The attentive staff, amazing food and venue, and seamless planning process made it the perfect choice for our special day.

We got married at Cannon Green on October 19th, and we are beyond ecstatic that we chose Cannon Green as our venue. Tayla was amazing throughout the whole planning process. From hosting us virtually for the venue tour since we couldn't be in town, to patiently and quickly answering every question we had, to hosting a beautiful food & wine tasting - Tayla is a true gem and made the process so much easier for us! The entire staff at Cannon Green is so professional and welcoming. The space is beautiful and quaint. It gives the Charleston vibe we were looking for, but in the more modern way that we wanted. The food was exceptional and by far the best wedding food we & our guests have ever had. Guests raved about the canapes, the salad, and the entree. Some even said the salad served was the "best salad they ever had". The portion sizes were great and everyone was full after dinner which is not always the case at weddings! And dinner service moved quickly and efficiently which was very important to us. The event was so beautiful and we truly could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. We will forever recommend Cannon Green to every couple planning a wedding!

Cannon Green's team was a dream to work with! Sarah was our coordinator and she was the perfect match for us! I was an out of town bride and she made the planning process so seamless! Sarah and the CG team answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly from the beginning, and executed the best wedding ever! It unexpectedly poured rain the day of our wedding and their team was able to switch plans so quickly for us. Also, THE FOOD! We all know "fancy" wedding food most often misses the mark, but our dinner at Cannon Green was phenomenal!! We've had so many guests rave about it post wedding!! They were so accommodating for our guests with allergies and dietary restrictions as well. Each guest felt their meal was tailored to their needs, which was all done by the CG team. The property is stunning and very well kept, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to get married here! No decor needed when your venue is as immaculate as theirs is. We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at Cannon Green and would do it all again if we could!

This venue has it all!! It is truly perfect and naturally so gorgeous. We knew it would be our favorite venue before we even saw it as it captures the essence on Charleston in a modern way, plus the location is perfect - it’s right down the street from some of the best restaurants, activities, and hotels in Charleston. The food is genuinely fantastic. The staff is even better. When you tell other vendors you are getting married at Cannon Green, they are excited to be working with such a great team and rave about how gorgeous the space is. We wouldn’t change a single thing.

We had 4.5 months to plan a destination wedding in Charleston, and after touring 4-5 venues unsuccessfully, we decided to book the Cannon Green sight unseen. It was a leap of faith that turned out to be the best decision ever, as the venue is a turn-key solution for beautiful greenery and minimal vendors. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food program is excellent.

Cannon Green was a spectacular setting for a family wedding including a courtyard with fountains and lush greenery to an indoor renovated trolley barn space. The food, from canapés to desserts, was delicious, sophisticated, and elevated. The staff adroitly managed to quickly convert the courtyard from ceremony seating to a comfortable mix of cocktail tables and upholstered seating for the reception. Dinner was served inside the Trolley Room and the staff was personable and efficient. The planning was expertly handled by the special events staff who managed the myriad of details involved in such an event. The staff quickly and eloquently responded to questions and concerns during the wedding planning and during the event itself. While pre-wedding jitters are a natural occurrence, we felt confident we were in good hands at Cannon Green.

We hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Cannon Green. From initial planning to final execution, the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way. Our planner Tayla was gracious, knowledgeable, responsive and organized. Her demeanor and poise during some stressful decisions put all of us at ease. The actual venue is simply beautiful and embraces the sophisticated charm of Charleston. The food at Cannon Green is delicious and creative (nothing boring or expected). Topping all of these wonderful attributes with the in-house supply of tables/chairs/china/linens (no need to rent a thing) makes Cannon Green the perfect spot for any event! We did a complete buy out of the space. Our event started with a rehearsal dinner for 39ppl. We used the courtyard for actual rehearsal and cocktails then moved the the Trolley Room for dinner. After rehearsal dinner we hosted 250 for the welcome party utilizing the courtyard, garden room and bar.

We had our wedding at Cannon Green in April 2024! We looked at tons of venues and chose Cannon Green based on the team, food, and all of the items they include. They made the entire planning process easy and fun. Tayla was beyond helpful and literally the nicest person to work with! The entire team really took time to understand our vision and make our dreams a reality. On our day our guest could not stop raving about how gorgeous the courtyard was, how it was the best wedding food they ever had, and how great everything turned out. After all the items that Cannon Green provides, the amazing food they serve, the perfect staff that goes above and beyond I can say confidently that Cannon Green is the best event space in Charleston!!!

This is by far the best venue in Charleston. They take almost all of the worries away from you and what they provide in services is unmatched. We are a local couple and had many locals in the crowd and everyone that we talked to stated how it was the best wedding venue they have been to in Charleston. The food and scenery are just unmatched as well. The coordinators there (Tayla and Pressley) were amazing as well answering every question and going above and beyond. They really made us feel special and did everything possible to make our day perfect. We had our rehearsal dinner (60 guests) and later, our welcome party (150 guests), at Cannon Green. It was absolutely perfect. We worked with Tayla, who was wonderful every step of the process. She was great at communicating, friendly, and ensured our day was seamless. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with a large inside space (the Trolley room) and outdoor courtyard (lined with beautiful palm trees, fountains, and string lighting). I would highly recommend Cannon Green for a variety of events. Can't beat its beauty, location, and wonderful staff.

Cannon Green was perfect for our February wedding! Tayla and Pressley were incredibly helpful and professional and made sure everything was taken care of, even when it decided to rain last minute on the day they were able to make it the best wedding ever. Just have your wedding here - you won’t regret it!! We booked Cannon Green on a whim. My now husband and I are from New England and couldn’t find any venues that were quite right around us. We came across cannon green in a best venues article and fell in love. We got a virtual tour and booked without seeing it in person. The first time we visited, over 6 months later, we were a little nervous. But oh my goodness the venue is even prettier in person! Don’t just book because of the gorgeous venue though - book because or the amazing service. We worked with Meg and can’t recommend her enough. She helped us through the entire process and literally everything was perfect. The Cannon Green team are true professionals. and I promise you will be in good hands. I also can’t forget to mention that the food and drinks are all truly incredible - We were blown away at our tasting!

We hosted my son and fiancé's after rehearsal dinner at Cannon Green. I live in Birmingham and a friend of mine from Charleston recommended Cannon Green. From the very beginning, Tayla Manson and her team provided outstanding customer service. They made the planning process easy and were very responsive and professional. Our tasting was delicious and the food did not disappoint at the rehearsal dinner. We had guests from 17 states and they all complimented the food and service at the dinner. Tayla and the team at Cannon Green helped kick off and set the tone for a fun and memorable wedding weekend!

Cannon Green was by far the most perfect venue for our wedding. We toured the space and later dined at Wild Common for dinner... and were booked for our big day by the end of the night. Cannon Green is hands down the best venue in Charleston. The location, the gorgeous courtyard, historic Trolley Room, the food, the service, literally everything!! For brides like myself who don't want to deal with renting everything down to linens and silverware, Cannon Green provides everything you could need... even incredible food! We worked with Tayla who is just amazing, she is organized and responsive and I never had to stress about things running smoothly because she always had everything handled- along with the entire CG team! Our wedding guests couldn't stop saying how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was. Would recommend CG to anyone!

After visiting several Charleston locations, we choose Cannon Green for our son’s rehearsal dinner. The courtyard is stunning and well suited for cocktails. Trolley room comfortably seated 100+ guests. This is a stellar venue with exceptional ambiance, food quality, and service. Event manager(Meg) is knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on customer experience. On the downside, the parking situation is not ideal. Guests should be encouraged to use ride share services. All in all, my wife and I highly recommend Cannon Green.

Cannon green was the BEST VENUE! not only that but their staff was super helpful and Tayla was amazing to work with! She took the stress off the planning! Everything was ready to go and I asked about popsicles and prosecco and she made it happen!! The food was amazing and our wedding day was perfect!

Best venue and team ever! I cannot say enough good things about Cannon Green – from the beautiful space, to the incredible food (our guests were raving), to the convenient downtown location, to the entire team there. We worked with Anna through multiple (and I mean multiple) wedding date postponements due to COVID, and she was so kind, responsive, thoughtful, and accommodating along the way – I felt like I had gained a friend at the end of the planning process! The day of was a dream and went so smoothly, and I’m still dreaming of the food and drinks we had (they even made a special steak frites meal we requested, and it was fantastic). On the day of the wedding, it was windy, raining, and cold. Nevertheless Cannon Green staff made the venue look like a dream! The courtyard tent proved to be beautiful, and our vendors made the trolley room look outstanding! The food is out of this world delicious as well. We received so many compliments from guests that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted. I cannot recommend Cannon Green (and Anna!) enough if you are considering it as your wedding venue.

The venue is beautiful and offers indoor and outdoor space, they include everything you need but also allow you to bring in rentals if you would like to, and the food is fantastic! From the beginning of the planning process to the wedding (which ended up being much longer than we all ever imagined!), the team at Cannon Green was helpful, gracious, and professional. We loved having our wedding at Cannon Green, and our guests did too. We are all from out of town and greatly appreciated the Charleston vibes the venue offers and the delicious food. Cannon Green caught my eye from the beginning of our wedding planning journey. From seeing it on the Knot to my first visit with Anna, I knew it would be perfect for us. Their mix of Charleston history, outdoor greenery, and modern services made for a truly perfect wedding. Anna was so easy to work with and very accommodating. She worked with special menu and drink requests and helped us achieve the exact vision we had for our day. Being able to have an outdoor wedding while staying downtown was important to us. Their outdoor courtyard was perfect for our ceremony while the Trolley room offered an indoor space for dinner and dancing. The inclusive nature of Cannon Green was also an important feature; offering everything from food and drink to tables, chairs, dinnerware, and linens to impeccable service - all wrapped up in one cost. It made planning very easy for us! Not only was the venue beautiful but the food was beyond amazing. So many of our guests have commented on how delicious the food was. "I'll be dreaming of those collard greens forever." -exact quote from my bridesmaid. :) We would not have changed a thing! It was the most perfect day, thanks to Cannon Green!

Cannon Green did a fantastic job with our rehearsal dinner in the Garden Room. As an out-of-town mother, planning an event in Charleston, I really appreciated the care they took in helping me plan a perfect evening. Anna Steadman, our event planner is a treasure and was a total pleasure to work with. She put me at ease from the start and offered many options that worked within our budget and style. The thing I liked the best about this space was that it included everything we needed. The space is light and airy and the architectural aspects of the building were so eye-catching and beautiful. At night, the room took on an intimate and upbeat vibe that set the perfect tone for our event and kickoff to wedding weekend. In addition to all food, beverages and dessert, our event included all servers, bar tenders, tableware, votives, several large green potted plants for ambiance and an excellent sound system that allowed us to play from Spotify for background music. There was ample space for separate bar, coffee and dessert service, along with space dedicated for an 82" TV display for our slideshow presentation. The highlight of the event was the food. It was fantastic! The food tasting really helped us select the perfect hors d'oeuvres, main course and desserts to suit our guests. The staff is well trained, positive and efficient. I would definitely recommend Cannon Green to anyone who is looking for excellent food, trained and dedicated staff and lovely atmosphere to host a memorable event.

My wife and I were supposed to get married in April of 2020 and Cannon Green was where we wanted to have our Rehearsal Dinner. Earlier in the year, Alyson set up our food/wine tasting, which was out of this world. So incredibly good and we couldn't wait to have our Rehearsal Dinner there. Well COVID had other plans for us and we postponed our wedding to July, 2020. Once again, COVID made us change our plans last minute and we decided to simply skip our Rehearsal Dinner, knowing it would be with the same 20 people that would be at our wedding the next night. Alyson and her team were extremely accommodating and by our side through this difficult time. Alyson offered a great idea of having a 1-year anniversary party at Cannon Green to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family that we couldn't have during our wedding. So July 2nd, Cannon Green hosted our 1-year party and it was amazing. So well orchestrated and Alyson and Beth had everything lined up and prepared just as we wished. The service, food, furniture, layout was all top-notch and the venue is unlike anywhere else in Charleston. We still get compliments of Cannon Green from friends and family to this day and we are so grateful for everything they did for us. They were there for us in the beginning and all 14 months after! Couldn't say enough good things about Cannon Green and their team!

Cannon Green provided my husband and I with that "once in a lifetime wedding" that we so dreamed of, we are still on Cloud 9 (and 10, and 11...) 10 days after saying 'I do'. Alyson was absolutely wonderful to work with...the coordination and communication was always prompt and professional, and we had so much fun with her at our tasting! If you are looking for a venue that has basically everything you could ever need on site, this is the venue for you. Our guests could not stop gushing over how beautiful everything was--and the food, MY GOSH THE FOOD!!!!! No crappy wedding food here, everything is A++++. We planned our wedding from out of town and did a lot of research. Our short list included Cannon Green and wanted to find the right place for us (elegant, competitive pricing and plans, indoor, downtown location). We are thrilled we selected Cannon Green! The entree options and taste was incredible, the ambiance was beautiful, pricing is very competitive! I wouldn’t change a thing. We highly recommend them! They are extremely professional and responsive.

It is even more beautiful in person and has the best staff! Alyson was SOO helpful throughout the entire planning process and she happily dealt with all of our many changes due to COVID. Our wedding at Cannon Green was sheer perfection. Alyson and her team were delightful to work with and played a monumental role in our day. As a COVID-19 bride, multiple reschedules, and uncertain times for everyone involved, Alyson was the voice of reason, the problem solver, and most of all, an ally. She was consistently fast to respond, polite in times of undue stress, and insanely organized. If you are looking for an on-site coordinated who you consider a friend and consummate professional, Alyson is your girl!

I cannot even put into words how thrilled we were with Anna, Cannon Green and the entire event team. From the start, we called Anna to inquire about having our wedding at CG. She was SO kind, knowledgable, and helped us get creative with their package offerings to create the wedding that we had always dreamed of. I didn't expect to end the call feeling like I had made a friend, but I did! Not living in Charleston, I appreciated that Cannon Green really had it all under one roof. We didn't have to spend time making tedious decisions on rentals, linens, dinner wear, etc. Anna was always available for phone calls when we had questions leading up to the wedding, as there were many :) We traveled to Charleston for the tasting at Cannon Green with our families a few months prior to the wedding. We had been told that there was no better tasting than at CG, so we were so excited. Sure enough, it was perfectly planned out, the food was INCREDIBLE, and it really kicked off the excitement in the couple of months leading up to our wedding. Our wedding was on February 19th, 2021 and it was the best and most perfect day of our lives. The ceremony in the courtyard was breathtaking. It looked even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. The cocktail hour following the ceremony was flawless. The wait staff was SO attentive and prompt, the bar staff was speedy, dinner was amazing, and all of our friends and family were blown away with the beauty of Cannon Green, as were we! A month later, we are still on cloud 9 over our perfect day. I cannot recommend Cannon Green and the flawless experience that they gave us enough. We are beyond grateful for Anna, her team, the venue itself, and the memories made that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Cannon Green was an absolute dream for our wedding venue! We were looking for a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue to have both our ceremony and reception and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Bonus points because they have in house catering and bartenders and it includes all linens, silverware, plates-they literally handle everything. We basically showed up with a cake, some flowers, and the wedding party because everything else was taken care of. We worked with Alyson and she was incredible- she was so attentive and responsive to our many questions and requests, especially regarding COVID. We got so many compliments on the venue and the food (SO GOOD), and I know the reason our wedding went off without complications was because of Alyson and their amazing staff here. 5 stars is not enough!

Im not going to lie, I fell in love with Cannon Green before I even saw the place in person. The photos of the place were gorgeous, it was in our budget, and they included rentals and catering, making it a one stop shop. When we visited the place in person, I knew it was were we needed to get married. And I'm so glad we did. We had no idea when we booked Cannon Green that 2020 was going to be the chaotic year that it was. Throughout all the change ups and adjustments, Anna and the staff at CG was so accomodating. They made the process as easy as possible. We also got SO MANY positive comments from our guests on our gorgeous venue and the delicious food! I cannot recommend Cannon Green enough!!!

Cannon Green is the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever seen! On top of the beauty of the venue, the food and beverages are PHENOMENAL. I felt so lucky to be able to have my wedding there! I was blown away with the turn-key experience Cannon Green provides. This really helped making the planning process simple, as I was only responsible for finding three additional vendors! Alyson (one of the event managers) exceeded all my expectations! She was always quick to respond and was able to help me modify my wedding plans ensure proper COVID precautions were taken. Alyson and Cannon Green were very accommodating with the changes I had to make to the wedding I originally planned. They did everything they could to help me have a safe and beautiful wedding!

My husband and I held our wedding at Cannon Green in November 2020. With all of the uncertainty surrounding this year, we were fielding questions and concerns left and right. If we had chosen any other venue, we may have ended up rescheduling or eloping. But we chose correctly- and it became quickly evident that Cannon Green was at the top of their game. Our coordinator, Alyson, was exceptional to say the least. She was communicative, organized, detailed, and left no stone unturned and no question unanswered. She and the staff accommodated every single possible concern from diet to space to sanitizer stations. We were floored at not only how sensational everything looked, but how comfortable and safe Cannon Green made our guests feel in order to be able to celebrate with us. We heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about the food, the service, and the ambiance. I cannot say enough about how strongly I recommend this venue. We were able to hold our intimate dream wedding and every moment was magical and seamless thanks to the staff and planning at Cannon Green!!!

The most beautiful venue with the most wonderful staff. We worked with Alyson, and through COVID, she was able to accommodate our changes and needs effortlessly. She was so responsive and helpful through the entire process. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect- a courtyard ceremony followed by an intimate outdoor dinner under the twinkle lights- it felt like out of a movie! The staff were so incredibly helpful throughout the evening and everything went off without a hitch. Would recommend 100x over. <3

Yes, dreams really do come true!! I want express my overwhelming joy and excitement for the amazing evening that we had at Cannon Green on October 10, 2020. We had an intimate wedding of 22 guests. We had a truly exceptional experience, given the current state with COVID. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Anna Griffith - she was fabulous!! Anna provided thorough, yet efficient communication and was very prompt at responding to questions via email and phone. She was very attentive to each detail and helped guide me through the many decisions that needed to be made. We met several times to discuss my thoughts, walked through the venue and she created a detailed plan for the actual day of events. She is very organized and anticipates what you need before you even realize it. Anna is very thoughtful and a true joy to work with! This was truly very special day for us! We were so fortunate to have our wedding and celebrate with family and friends at one of the most uniquely charming venues in Charleston! There is a stunning courtyard and two lovely interior rooms, one with a historic Charleston Home as the backdrop. You have to see to believe what an unbelievable space this is, all tucked away on Spring Street . Our plan was to have a sweet, simple ceremony outside in the courtyard beginning at 6pm, followed by cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a dinner reception. It was a lovely day, but rain was threatening in the late afternoon. Thankfully we took our "First Look" pictures outside in the gorgeous courtyard. Just before 6pm the guests began to arrive and the rain started...Anna was in constant communication with me, updating me as things progressed. She coordinated the last minute change of plans seamlessly and her staff quickly pivoted to set the stage for the ceremony in The Garden Room in front of the historic Charleston Single home. Well done!! We began the celebration soon after the ceremony and loved the "His and Hers" cocktails (An Old Fashioned for him and a French 75 for her) that were served, as well as fantastic passed hors d'oeuvres. The Chef's Table with Chef Orlando and his team was such a unique and special culinary journey! We are always blown away by his Tasting Menu and wine paring which, only elevates the entire experience. This was no exception - it was perfect!! A very special thank you to Anna and her team and to Chef Orlando and his culinary team for creating such a memorable evening for our wedding and celebration with our guests! We had the pleasure of working with Anna @ Cannon Green for our big day in Charleston! First & Foremost, I was a #COVIDBRIDE with our big day planned for April 2020…we had to postpone til October 2020. Fortunately they were able to accommodate and work with us on picking a new date! Quick back story…before I got engaged, I found Cannon Green on the Knot/Wedding Wire. My husband and I wanted a “destination wedding” and Charleston felt like the perfect place for our friends and family to escape for a weekend, explore, and indulge in such a marvelous city. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous Cannon Green looked. Every single picture, review, etc. was GLOWING. I saved/tucked this away…and when it finally came to plan the big day, I thought “Maybe we can make this place work…it would be my DREAM.” Well lucky for us, we were able to move forward with CANNON GREEN! I was so confident in the venue, that we booked sight-unseen, since we were from out of town. I saw it 6 months later at our tasting, where we met & worked with Anna, and I KNEW we made the right choice. I cannot thank Anna & the team enough for their flexibility, attention to detail, and dealing with a very stressed, sometimes sad & anxious bride, due to this years circumstances! Anna was always there to work me through details, different bumps in the road with lower guest count, and accommodating all our needs for the event. Our guests were blown away by the food and service, the fountains and palmetto trees, the dreamy courtyard. Anna can vouch, that when I arrived an hour before walking down the aisle, seeing the space with all our touches, florals, etc. I was brought to TEARS. It exceeded ALL expectations!!! My vision and bridal moment, that I had been looking forward to for so long, finally came to fruition and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you AGAIN!

Words cannot explain how amazing our experience was with Cannon Green. My husband and I got married on 08/28/20 and I wouldn't change anything about that day..it was perfect. From the first day we saw the venue, we knew immediately that this is where we wanted to get married. It is a stunning, elegant all-inclusive space with the most beautiful courtyard. Cannon Green provided all of the food & beverage service so it's a one-stop-shop dream venue. We had several guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had and we completely agree! Not only did our guest rave about Cannon Green...our Vendors did too! Not only did Cannon Green go out of their way to make us feel more comfortable having a wedding during a pandemic., they also were VERY FLEXIBLE which is huge during times of uncertainty. My husband and I live in Charleston so we have attended weddings at all the top Charleston venues and this by far is the best wedding venue in the Charleston area and probably one of the top venues in the US. It's definitely the best wedding food in the area no questions asked on that - we highly recommend Cannon Green!!!

My husband and I held our wedding at Cannon Green this past May, and we have nothing but good things to say about our experience. We live in Chicago, so we did the majority of our planning from afar. Demi was professional and easy to communicate with. Everything from the tasting to the rehearsal, ceremony and reception went off seamlessly. We chose Cannon Green because food was important to us, and the food at CG did not disappoint. In fact, our guests raved about the unique and seasonal fare, which I don’t think is typical for weddings. Additionally, the entire staff was professional and displayed amazing attention to detail. I would recommend Cannon Green to anyone planning a party or wedding in Charleston!

We live in Florida and were nervous about planning a destination wedding. Choosing Cannon Green and working with Alyson was the most perfect choice and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The venue is so turnkey the planning was so easy. Alyson was so wonderful to work with - extremely quick, responsive and pleasant. From the initial walk through/venue tour to our tasting/menu finalization through to the day of the level of service was top-notch. The venue itself is stunning. Our guests still rave about it. You can add as much decor as you'd like but you honestly don't need much - the greenery and courtyard and the trolley room are the perfect Southern Charm venue. We were curious to see how quickly the team would flip the ceremony space to the cocktail hour space and to be honest, it was done before I even had time to pay attention. Service was great - a server even brought me a plate of food during cocktail hour while we were taking photos to make sure I was able to taste everything! I'd give Alyson and Cannon Green 10 stars if I could!

As soon as we walked into cannon green we knew that we had to get married there! It is the perfect blend of classic and modern with the charm of downtown Charleston. The entire planning process was so smooth and I was not stressed out at all. They made sure that we knew exactly when everything needed to happen and answered all of our random questions! The food was fantastic and I could’ve eaten ten trays of those mini chicken and waffles. The venue itself is so beautiful that it hardly requires any decor and the staff are so amazing that we were comfortable the whole night knowing we were in good hands. Cannon Green was the best decision we ever made! Our wedding, originally scheduled for September 6, was pushed to September 8 due to Hurricane Dorian. What would have been the most stressful and worrisome time was put at ease with the overwhelming support from Alyson and the CG team. They were able to accommodate us and all of our guests (as well as all of our vendors!) the same weekend without one hiccup. I cannot say enough about how amazing Alyson was during the entire planning process. She was extremely professional and responsive to every small detail I threw at her. One thing that separates Cannon Green from the many other wedding venues in Charleston is their food. Being a fine-dining restaurant, they have this down to a science. From the canapes to the salads and entrees, everything was absolutely delicious. We went with the crab cake, beef tenderloin and vegetable linguine - just perfection. It truly is an awesome experience for your guests to have such high-end food and at a wedding no less! If you are contemplating a venue in Charleston for your wedding, you CANNOT go wrong with Cannon Green. Not only is the space immaculate, lush and beautiful with palm trees and greenery, but the service was impeccable. I cannot count how many compliments we received on how stunning the venue is. Cannon Green was the perfect venue to host our guests who flew in from all over the country. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the space requires little decorating. I did not see/visit the venue until the day before my wedding (as I live in Austin). I was trusting that it would be beautiful, and it truly was. There is nothing that I would change. Biggest plus, I was not stressed or overwhelmed in the SLIGHTEST throughout the entire process, Alyson was extremely easy to work with, very attentive, kind and responsive.
