We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Cannon Green! We had our wedding there on August 29, and it was genuinely the most perfect day from beginning to end. Eden Malinski was absolutely incredible throughout the entire planning process. She is kind, thoughtful, responsive, and truly wonderful to work with. She listened to every request, answered countless questions, and worked so closely with us to bring our vision to life. On our wedding day, Eden and the entire Cannon Green team executed every detail flawlessly and made sure we could simply enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel taken care of. We received so many compliments from our friends and family about the venue, food, and overall experience. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, and so much of that is thanks to Eden and the amazing team at Cannon Green. We will forever be grateful for the care they put into making our day so special. If you are considering Cannon Green for your Charleston wedding, we could not recommend them more highly!

From our very first introduction, Autumn was incredibly patient, responsive, efficient, and genuinely invested in understanding what we wanted. She always took the time to listen, answer our questions, and find ways to accommodate us. We immediately felt like we were in great hands. What makes that even more impressive is that ours was a destination wedding, and we actually booked the venue after a virtual video tour! We viewed quite a few other venues in person, but ultimately knew Cannon Green was going to be it for us. Most of our planning and communication happened virtually and through email, so meeting Autumn in person at our tasting was such a great experience. It confirmed everything we had already felt through our many emails and calls—she is just as warm, thoughtful, and wonderful in person. The entire process was seamless, from our initial introduction, to signing the contract, to the tasting, and all the way through our wedding weekend. Planning a wedding from New York at a venue several states away could have felt overwhelming, but the team made it incredibly easy from the very beginning. We trusted them from the jump and always felt confident that we were in the best hands. They were organized, communicative, and helpful through every stage. One of the things we loved most about the venue is just how much they provide. Especially for a destination wedding, it made such a difference not having to coordinate and outsource a million different things. From table linens and so many of the other details that can become surprisingly complicated, the venue has so much already built into the experience. It made the planning process so much easier and allowed us to focus on the things that really mattered to us. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The entire property and team have this wonderful combination of Southern charm, warmth, and elegance. As New Yorkers, we really loved being able to embrace the Southern experience—it felt special and different, but still incredibly sophisticated and classy. The whole atmosphere was welcoming, charming, and just beautiful!! We have to talk about the food because our guests certainly did! The food was so delicious. We had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and we completely agree. It was one of the things people continued talking about long after the wedding. Most importantly, the entire weekend felt effortless. We were able to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about logistics, because we trusted the team completely. Shout out to Eden on the day of too!! From that very first virtual tour to saying goodbye at the end of our wedding weekend, we felt taken care of every step of the way. We are so grateful we found Cannon Green and had the opportunity to work with Autumn. Booking a destination wedding sight unseen is a leap of faith, but choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made. Some additional bonuses to having such a beautiful space: they supply you with a preferred vendor list to help get you going, have in house catering and staff (along with all of the items you could need for your event like linens, flatware, chairs, etc. that are not always included with venues but are with Cannon Green), supply some decor like the string lights in the courtyard and candle votives, and finally, the food is OUTSTANDING. That was one of the most loved things from our guests! Working with Tayla and everyone at Cannon Green was seamless from the very first email, and I can’t recommend them more. We will definitely be back to try their restaurant Wild Common next time we visit Charleston!!

Cannon Green, on the other hand, makes your life so much easier by including so much in their package. Now, let’s talk about the food—hands down, the best part of the entire experience! Where do I even begin? The canapés alone make my mouth water just thinking about them. And the meal? Absolutely incredible. Every single guest came up to us to say it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Wedding food can sometimes be forgettable, but that’s definitely not the case with Cannon Green. A quick tip for future couples: parking can be a little tricky. If your budget allows, I’d recommend booking trolleys for transportation to make it easier for your guests. That said, the venue’s location is super convenient—it’s only about a 5-minute drive from King Street. We had the pleasure of working with Autumn, who was so kind, accommodating, and helpful throughout the entire process. She made everything so seamless and stress-free. I can’t recommend Cannon Green enough! If you’re considering it for your wedding, just go for it—you won’t regret it.

The venue provides so many things you would normally have to rent (chairs, tablecloths, silverware, etc.), which means fewer small decisions to weigh you down during wedding planning! You can still replace any items with rentals if you prefer, but all of the included items are beautiful, classic and high quality. The food was exquisite, all our friends and family raved about it. From the canapes during the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert to late night snacks, everything was delicious. The drinks were fantastic, and the bartender even worked up a few custom cocktails for our signature drinks! The staff is extremely nice and the service was flawless throughout the whole event, so guests never have to worry about getting a refill or loading up on tasty treats. We loved having both indoor and outdoor spaces. Having the ceremony and reception in the same location made the day of logistics so simple. The neighborhood is right downtown with so many Airbnbs, hotels, restaurants and bars for you and your guests to choose from. All in all, an incredible venue! And we can’t wait to go back to the restaurant on site for our anniversary!

It unexpectedly poured rain the day of our wedding and their team was able to switch plans so quickly for us. Also, THE FOOD! We all know "fancy" wedding food most often misses the mark, but our dinner at Cannon Green was phenomenal!! We've had so many guests rave about it post wedding!! They were so accommodating for our guests with allergies and dietary restrictions as well. Each guest felt their meal was tailored to their needs, which was all done by the CG team. The property is stunning and very well kept, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to get married here! No decor needed when your venue is as immaculate as theirs is. dern way, plus the location is perfect - it’s right down the street from some of the best restaurants, activities, and hotels in Charleston. The food is genuinely fantastic. The staff is even better. When you tell other vendors you are getting married at Cannon Green, they are excited to be working with such a great team and rave about how gorgeous the space is. We wouldn’t change a single thing.

that turned out to be the best decision ever, as the venue is a turn-key solution for beautiful greenery and minimal vendors. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food program is excellent.

Cannon Green was a spectacular setting for a family wedding including a courtyard with fountains and lush greenery to an indoor renovated trolley barn space. The food, from canapés...

to desserts, was delicious, sophisticated, and elevated. The staff adroitly managed to quickly convert the courtyard from ceremony seating to a comfortable mix of cocktail tables and upholstered seating for the reception. Dinner was served inside the Trolley Room and the staff was personable and efficient. The planning was expertly handled by the special events staff who managed the myriad of details involved in such an event. The staff quickly and eloquently responded to questions and concerns during the wedding planning and during the event itself. While pre-wedding jitters are a natural occurrence, we felt confident we were in good hands at Cannon Green.

lanner Tayla was gracious, knowledgeable, responsive and organized. Her demeanor and poise during some stressful decisions put all of us at ease. The actual venue is simply beautiful and embraces the sophisticated charm of Charleston. The food at Cannon Green is delicious and creative (nothing boring or expected). Topping all of these wonderful attributes with the in-house supply of tables/chairs/china/linens (no need to rent a thing) makes Cannon Green the perfect spot for any event! We did a complete buy out of the space. Our event started with a rehearsal dinner for 39ppl. We used the courtyard for actual rehearsal and cocktails then moved the the Trolley Room for dinner. After rehearsal dinner we hosted 250 for the welcome party utilizing the courtyard, garden room and bar.

On our day our guest could not stop raving about how gorgeous the courtyard was, how it was the best wedding food they ever had, and how great everything turned out. After all the items that Cannon Green provides, the amazing food they serve, the perfect staff that goes above and beyond I can say confidently that Cannon Green is the best event space in Charleston!!!

The coordinators there (Tayla and Pressley) were amazing as well answering every question and going above and beyond.
