The courtyard let in the warm Charleston sunshine with the stately palm trees, greenery, and fountains. We held the ceremony and cocktail hour in the courtyard. Then we moved indoors for a delicious dinner prepared by their onsite Michelin-starred chef. Everything was just perfect; only wish it hadn't gone by so fast!

Our event coordinator, Autumn, was fantastic—super organized, personable, and always ready with thoughtful suggestions, whether through Cannon Green or by recommending outside vendors who helped make our wedding really special. On the day of the wedding, the entire Cannon Green team was attentive and professional, taking care of every detail so we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves.
Lastly, having high-quality food and drink was very important to us, and both were absolutely delicious.

We had so much fun at the tasting and were excited for the months leading up to the wedding! The day of the wedding was flawless! Autumn really took care of us the entire day, constantly checking in, coordinating all of the little things so we didn’t have to think about anything, she takes a hands on approach and you can tell she’s so passionate about her job! Cannon Green is stunning, I first fell in love with it for all of the plants, the courtyard, the food and how beautiful everything was! It was so nice to have the food done in house, and so much included like tables, chairs, etc. I really only had to focus on the outside vendors. The food was unbelievable! So many of our guests were saying how good the food was and how beautiful Cannon Green is! We are so so happy that we chose Cannon Green for our wedding, it is now a special place for us. nseen! Tayla gave us a video tour of the property since we don’t live in the area, and it was a done deal. Some additional bonuses to having such a beautiful space: they supply you with a preferred vendor list to help get you going, have in house catering and staff (along with all of the items you could need for your event like linens, flatware, chairs, etc. that are not always included with venues but are with Cannon Green), supply some decor like the string lights in the courtyard and candle votives, and finally, the food is OUTSTANDING. That was one of the most loved things from our guests! Working with Tayla and everyone at Cannon Green was seamless from the very first email, and I can’t recommend them more. We will definitely be back to try their restaurant Wild Common next time we visit Charleston!!

Now, let’s talk about the food—hands down, the best part of the entire experience! Where do I even begin? The canapés alone make my mouth water just thinking about them. And the meal? Absolutely incredible. Every single guest came up to us to say it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Wedding food can sometimes be forgettable, but that’s definitely not the case with Cannon Green.
A quick tip for future couples: parking can be a little tricky. If your budget allows, I’d recommend booking trolleys for transportation to make it easier for your guests. That said, the venue’s location is super convenient—it’s only about a 5-minute drive from King Street.
We had the pleasure of working with Autumn, who was so kind, accommodating, and helpful throughout the entire process. She made everything so seamless and stress-free.
I can’t recommend Cannon Green enough! If you’re considering it for your wedding, just go for it—you won’t regret it.

The venue provides so many things you would normally have to rent (chairs, tablecloths, silverware, etc.), which means fewer small decisions to weigh you down during wedding planning! You can still replace any items with rentals if you prefer, but all of the included items are beautiful, classic and high quality.
The food was exquisite, all our friends and family raved about it. From the canapes during the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert to late night snacks, everything was delicious. The drinks were fantastic, and the bartender even worked up a few custom cocktails for our signature drinks! The staff is extremely nice and the service was flawless throughout the whole event, so guests never have to worry about getting a refill or loading up on tasty treats.
We loved having both indoor and outdoor spaces. Having the ceremony and reception in the same location made the day of logistics so simple. The neighborhood is right downtown with so many Airbnbs, hotels, restaurants and bars for you and your guests to choose from. All in all, an incredible venue! And we can’t wait to go back to the restaurant on site for our anniversary!

Our guests were wowed by the space and loved being able to flow seamlessly between the indoor and outdoor areas. Having the chairs, bar, desserts, and linens all provided by the venue was such a relief - it allowed us to focus on the fun parts of planning without getting bogged down in logistics.
The food was another standout. The selection was incredible, and the quality will impressive even your pickiest guests. Our guests are still raving about the passed hors d'oeuvres and plated dinner, and every food allergy was accomodated for! The intuitive flow of the space also made it easy for people to mingle and enjoy the various culinary offerings.
I live in Charleston so I had the privilege of being able to tour many top venues here. For the price, quality of food and service, and location, Cannon Green could not be beat.

The entire staff at Cannon Green is so professional and welcoming. The space is beautiful and quaint. It gives the Charleston vibe we were looking for, but in the more modern way that we wanted. The food was exceptional and by far the best wedding food we & our guests have ever had. Guests raved about the canapes, the salad, and the entree. Some even said the salad served was the "best salad they ever had". The portion sizes were great and everyone was full after dinner which is not always the case at weddings! And dinner service moved quickly and efficiently which was very important to us.
The event was so beautiful and we truly could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. We will forever recommend Cannon Green to every couple planning a wedding!

It unexpectedly poured rain the day of our wedding and their team was able to switch plans so quickly for us. Also, THE FOOD! We all know "fancy" wedding food most often misses the mark, but our dinner at Cannon Green was phenomenal!! We've had so many guests rave about it post wedding!! They were so accommodating for our guests with allergies and dietary restrictions as well. Each guest felt their meal was tailored to their needs, which was all done by the CG team. The property is stunning and very well kept, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to get married here! No decor needed when your venue is as immaculate as theirs is. The staff adroitly managed to quickly convert the courtyard from ceremony seating to a comfortable mix of cocktail tables and upholstered seating for the reception. Dinner was served inside the Trolley Room and the staff was personable and efficient. The planning was expertly handled by the special events staff who managed the myriad of details involved in such an event. The staff quickly and eloquently responded to questions and concerns during the wedding planning and during the event itself. While pre-wedding jitters are a natural occurrence, we felt confident we were in good hands at Cannon Green.

The actual venue is simply beautiful and embraces the sophisticated charm of Charleston. The food at Cannon Green is delicious and creative (nothing boring or expected). Topping all of these wonderful attributes with the in-house supply of tables/chairs/china/linens (no need to rent a thing) makes Cannon Green the perfect spot for any event!
We did a complete buy out of the space.
Our event started with a rehearsal dinner for 39ppl. We used the courtyard for actual rehearsal and cocktails then moved the the Trolley Room for dinner. After rehearsal dinner we hosted 250 for the welcome party utilizing the courtyard, garden room and bar.

cals in the crowd and everyone that we talked to stated how it was the best wedding venue they have been to in Charleston. The food and scenery are just unmatched as well.
The coordinators there (Tayla and Pressley) were amazing as well answering every question and going above and beyond. They really made us feel special and did everything possible to make our day perfect.
Overall, there aren’t enough stars or words to express how great this experience was and if you are looking for a venue in Charleston, just book it here!

the process. She was great at communicating, friendly, and ensured our day was seamless. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with a large inside space (the Trolley room) and outdoor courtyard (lined with beautiful palm trees, fountains, and string lighting). I would highly recommend Cannon Green for a variety of events. Can't beat its beauty, location, and wonderful staff.

round us. We came across cannon green in a best venues article and fell in love. We got a virtual tour and booked without seeing it in person. The first time we visited, over 6 months later, we were a little nervous. But oh my goodness the venue is even prettier in person!
Don’t just book because of the gorgeous venue though - book because or the amazing service. We worked with Meg and can’t recommend her enough. She helped us through the entire process and literally everything was perfect.
The Cannon Green team are true professionals. and I promise you will be in good hands. I also can’t forget to mention that the food and drinks are all truly incredible - We were blown away at our tasting!

I would give Cannon Green a 10 ⭐️ review if I could! Meg went above and beyond in every way to make me feel like I was the most important bride from the moment we booked this venue...
. No matter how many random questions I had, or random advice I needed for my wedding, Meg was gracious in answering every single one.The communication was incredible.
The venue was perfect, and the staff have it down to a science. We wanted one venue that did it all. From ceremony to cocktail hour then right into reception. Each staff member was warm, welcoming, and perfect at what they do. Our guests could not stop raving about the service and the FOOOD!
Thank you to all the Cannon Green staff for making us feel so loved and having the wedding of our dreams
