We hired John as our DJ for our wedding in July 2016. We (as bride and groom) and all of the guests were extremely impressed. He did our outside ceremony sound, cocktail hour musi...
c, and DJ-ed our reception. John went out of his way to make sure we could hook up sound for our slideshow from our personal computer to his speakers. We were picky with music and had a lot of special song requests of things to be and not to be played- he played every single song we wanted, and he played no songs that were on the dreaded "do-not play list". It was such a great time, I did not want to leave the dance floor to do my bridal duties of mingling and taking pictures. We had several compliments on how awesome the music was, and he took special requests from our guests. The best part, he is very friendly and very affordable. Highly recommend this vendor.
John did an amazing job with our son and now daughter in law's wedding. He provided all of the pre service, processional and ceremony music, along with all of the reception and dan...
cing music. He also kept us all on tract and organized. I know we were limited on time, but John helped us enjoy the most of every minute we had. Thank you! Highly recommend this great guy!

ful feedback and resources to create the perfect balance with our music selections. The best part of our evening was watching all of our families dance through the different genres of music he played everyone's favorite songs! Everyone had the greatest time and you couldn't get us off the dance floor! John made sure we stayed on track with our event and entertained our guest all evening. I highly recommend his services for weddings or family affairs!
Amazing DJ. Very Fun and Lively. Highly recommend to anyone!
This DJ went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. We had a vintage Halloween themed wedding. I made a specific request for him to dress up for the reception... in cos...
tume. Normally a request like this would raise some eye brows, but John Canterbury was all in! He arrived in a full costume and he looked amazing! He was very knowledgeable, had a lot of experience and even gave us some suggestions to make our reception flow better. Everyone was up, dancing and having a good time on the night of! Success!
I enjoyed working with Canterbury. The price included lighting and he also help backlight our head table with our wedding color. It was very beautiful. I wish he had "emcee'd" a...
little more, but, with our crowd, I'm not sure that would have made a real difference. Overall, we were more than satisfied.
