Rabbi Jill exceeded our expectations. We asked her to perform a small, private civil ceremony in the park. Our intention was to do an interfaith, but not too religious casual ceremony. She was very flexible and thorough in going over what we wanted in our ceremony. She took the time to get to know us to make the ceremony special and custom to us. To our pleasant surprise, she also took time before the ceremony to share some beautiful thoughts and wisdom about marriage, which is something neither one of us thought about since we’ve only been thinking about the wedding. She was so incredibly warm and let us know that her door was always open to us. 100% would recommend.

My (now) husband and I adore Rabbi Jill. We are a gay interfaith couple, and wanted to make sure we had a meaningful ceremony for the both of us as well as our families who come from diverse backgrounds. While we are both Jewish, we are not religious and did not have a relationship with a Rabbi. Rabbi Jill was absolutely amazing! She actually wound up filling in for our Rabbi who was sick the week of our wedding. With only a week's notice, she met with us for over an hour to discuss our ceremony and to ask thoughtful questions about us as a couple. She was also incredibly responsive and helpful via email in the days leading up to the wedding with any last minute questions I had about the order of things in the ceremony. Day of, she was very communicative and gave clear instructions for things (which was very helpful as we were so overwhelmed and excited!). We had an interfaith ceremony and she worked very well with the Priest who was also marrying us. Our Ketubah signing was beautiful and actually made my (now) husband tear up (something that is very hard to do!). The actual ceremony was incredible. She did an excellent job of explaining everything she was doing, which was helpful since a lot of our guests were not Jewish. She mixed in the readings with a lot of singing, which our guests are still raving about! I truly couldn't picture a more perfect day and ceremony, and a major part of that was due to Rabbi Jill. I could not recommend her more highly. Thank you again for everything!

Rabbi Jill was incredible - from the moment we first spoke to her, to meeting face-to-face, to her flexibility despite the coronavirus chaos, she always made herself available & provided support with a smile. Rabbi Jill was wonderful and very easy to work with. My husband and I were faced with a sad and unfortunate situation a month prior to our wedding, when the rabbi, whom we originally hired, suddenly passed away. Rabbi Jill was very kind, and offered to step in. With less than a month left before our ceremony, my husband and I were seemingly nervous, but Rabbi Jill made us feel at ease. We discussed and rehearsed each aspect of the ceremony in her home. Rabbi Jill was very flexible on including readings and rituals that were meaningful to us and our families. As a result, our ceremony was very beautiful! We received praise from many of our guests.

Rabbi Jill’s knowledge of the spiritual Muslim texts and traditions is impressive. She conducted our Muslim-Jewish interfaith wedding ceremony with class, beauty, and poise. She generously offered to counsel us for many long hours before the wedding. She advocates for love, inclusion, and acceptance in all situations. All her quotes from the Quran emphasized on having open hearts and minds, respecting each other’s differences, and being compassionate and loving towards all. Her selections of Persian poems were greatly spiritual and intensely amorous. She explained the significance for every custom during the ceremony, so that the guests understood what went on and why. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would.

Our favorite part of the wedding planning process was meeting with Rabbi Jill! We are so glad we picked her to officiate our wedding - she made the day so unique and special. We had the most untraditional traditional ceremony that was perfect for us as a couple and Rabbi Jill seamlessly adjusted to our needs. We are a same-sex, interfaith couple. Rabbi Jill was able to infuse my wife’s Jewish religion with my catholic upbringing. She was respectful of what we wanted and needed and gave great advice. I, myself, find it very hard to talk to religious officiants, however Rabbi Jill was easy to talk to. Both sides of our family Jewish and non-Jewish, throughly enjoyed the ceremony and commented that this was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they had ever seen. We highly recommend Rabbi Jill. We were so fortunate and honored to have Rabbi Jill officiate our wedding in April 2018. My husband and I are an interfaith and mixed-race couple – while my husband wanted to have two officiants, I was set on just one that would entwine both our faith, culture and personalities. Our search proved to be short because the moment we meet her we knew she was the perfect person to marry us. It was such an ease revealing details to her about how we meet, our families, and what we wanted for both our ceremony and future together. She engaged us to speak about the other, an exercise I very much appreciated, because it led my husband and I to reveal some of the wonderful unsaid things we feel and admire about the other, and why we choose to take this monumental step in our relationship. The warmth she’s shown to us as both a couple and individuals during our meetings and on the day of our wedding was so genuine. Both guests and staff at our wedding raved about how kind she was and what a lovely singing voice she has – even though on our wedding day she was a bit under the weather and told us her voice would not be all too great. Planning the details of ceremony with her to the actual day of our wedding, from our Ketubah signing to our planting unity ceremony (we got married on Earth Day, of course we had to plant a tree for our home) was an ease and absolutely AMAZING. We couldn’t have asked for a more PERFECT day or anyone more suited than Rabbi Jill to conduct this beautiful step in our journey as a couple. Most recently we had a small intimate blessing with her and as always, she was such a DELIGHT. We look forward to including her in the next step of our journey when the time comes. We truly feel blessed to have worked with Rabbi Jill Hausman on our wedding. My wife and I are an interfaith couple and wanted to have a rabbi and a priest officiate at our ceremony. The search process was extensive but we were fortunate to find Rabbi Jill”s information. My wife, despite not being of the same religion as Rabbi Jill, formed an instant connection. We met with Rabbi Jill a couple of times either in person or over the phone. We found the Rabbi to be very warm and accommodating. Her organizational skills lifted a huge burden off our shoulders. The wedding ceremony went off without any issues due in part to the Rabbi and how well she worked with the priest. We have kept In touch with her and even attend Shabbat services at her synagogue a couple of times. We feel we found a Rabbi and gained a friend in the process. .

We have known Rabbi Jill long before she married my wife and I in May 2018. In May 2018, Rabbi Jill officiated two ceremonies – one combining our religious faiths and the other was a non-denominational ceremony. Rabbi Jill married my wife and I in November of 2018. We were seeking a Rabbi that was comfortable with interfaith marriages. The second we met her we knew we found the perfect person to marry us. She spent a great amount of time getting to know us, and really took interest in learning us as a couple. She made us feel right at home as she was warm and kind. We chose her and had another session to go over the ceremony in detail. She planned the whole ceremony and made the entire process seamless. She is extremely organized. Now for the actual ceremony- AMAZING. Rabbi Jill's voice is absolutely breathtaking. My family is still talking about her voice. It felt like Rabbi Jill was our Rabbi my entire life. I highly recommend Rabbi Jill. She officiated at our daughter's interfaith wedding. Rabbi Jill conducted a warm, traditional ceremony. Notably, almost all of the Hebrew was sung by Rabbi Jill in her beautiful cantorial voice. That way, those in attendance who were not Jewish (and even those who were), could appreciate the singing while the rabbi was able to include the traditional prayers.
