Shani has done my hair and makeup multiple times and each time I have come out looking flawless. I'm in awe of her skill. She doesn't hesitate, she just creates. She has taught me so much along the way so that I can do a better job with my everyday makeup! But I'll always call Shani when I need that glam. Shani made an already amazing day absolutely perfect. She did my make-up for my wedding day and I am so delighted with the look, my experience and how wonderful i looked and felt when I said "I do"! 1. Shani was always prompt in her replies and helpful when offering advice or suggestions (which was a life saver since I was anxious, stressed and a make-up novice.) 2. She set aside ample time for a trial session and made sure she explained the process in detail while she applied the make-up. She asked for images of my dress, flowers, the location, time of day, etc- just to make sure that the look she created would be perfect for what we had planned. 3. Shani is a very warm and open person. I felt a bit out of my element, because it was make-up and "glamorous" and I am more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of person. Her presence was immediately calming, and while she offered her own input she also listened to what I wanted. Overall, I am so very happy I chose Shani as my MUA. Her make-up work was precise and flawless, I felt beautiful on my wedding day, and I got to meet a stellar person in the process.

If I could give Shani 10 stars, I absolutely would! She is a dream! I have a very low maintenance day-to-day make-up and hair routine (I do not wear make-up most days, and I wear my hair down or in a topknot bun everyday), so I was pretty intimidated by getting all glammed up for my wedding day. Shani made the whole process easy, seamless, and so much less intimidating than I was making it out to be! She helped take my vision for myself on my wedding day (natural-looking with little pops of color for my makeup and a loose, boho updo for my hair), and she executed the whole thing flawlessly. She also gave me a few good skincare tips during our run-through that helped me up my anti-aging game. On top of that, she was such a joy and an easy presence to be with on the morning of my big day. I did not want to be around someone who was easily flustered or high maintenance on such an important morning, and I think Shani was the perfect blend of comforting, professional, and fun to be around! Shani did an excellent job on both my hair and make-up and all of my bridesmaids. She was referred to me on shorter notice and made my day the best it could have been. I felt that my pictures were so amazing because she took so much time and care on each person. I would recommend her very highly!

Shani was the best! She went above and beyond for me at my wedding, especially with me crying like 3 times before I actually got married! She did my makeup and hair, all I can say is I felt like a princess! My makeup was very natural and it lasted all day and night. I did touch up on my lipstick but other than that, all my makeup and hair stayed really well. Definitely would hire her again in a heart beat .
