Cap City made the night of our dreams come true. They were true pros from handling ceremony audio to perfection to getting down on the dance floor with our guests. Very accommodating of all our little detailed requests and executed them perfectly. Their performance made us so glad we spent the extra money to go with a live band over a DJ. Seriously look no further for your wedding band. Made the night so fun and so easy.

Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful and overwhelming. Picking our wedding band was not - all thanks to Cap City and their manager Greg. They are very reasonably priced and there are no hidden fees whatsoever. All their packages are all-inclusive and come with mic/audio/speakers for the ceremony, cocktail hour DJ, PA system/audio engineering and interactive stage lights. Greg was extremely easy to work with and very flexible with our various requests. We were able to make changes up until the day before our wedding and everything was implemented flawlessly and Greg made us feel very calm leading up to the big event. As for the band - myself as well as all our guests cannot stop raving about them! Very outgoing, music selection/mashups were great and had the dance floor packed the entire time. Additionally, they were extremely flexible and allowed myself and my wife to sing a few songs and join them on stage whenever we wanted. They truly made sure everyone was having a great time and ultimately allowed myself and my wife to just "be us". Even if that meant stealing the limelight for one or two songs! Would highly recommend this band for all types of events.

I can't say enough good things about Cap City! Everyone at our wedding raved about how amazing they were and they were honestly just the highlight of our reception. They brought us on stage for the last song of the night to end everything with a bang, which we were not expecting! They know how to make a wedding memorable and are so kind to guests. The personal relationships this band cultivates is outstanding as well - I was surprised Casey, one of the lead singers, remembered me from when I saw Cap City perform at Baker St. Pub & Grill (btw- go see Cap City at Baker St. for a preview, they even get an entire restaurant on a weeknight dancing!) before our wedding. I went up to talk to him during a break at Baker St. and he was so happy and nice to talk to, told me he was glad I introduced myself before the wedding. You can tell this isn't just a job for Casey, he loves love and he understands the importance and gravity he has as part of your wedding. If you want to ensure you have a packed dance floor (even without having to resort to line dances!), book Cap City!!! It was the party of our lifetime.

We had an absolute blast with Cap City Band! I did a ton of research looking for a band that would ensure a memorable night for everyone. It was so important for us that the band engaged with the crowd and played fun music all night. CCB did NOT disappoint! The dance floor was packed until the very end of the reception.. the band members engaged with the crowd and were so charming! We are still getting phone calls telling us about how awesome the band was! Book CCB for your special day!! Highly recommend !

Holy moly. I do not have the words to even begin to describe how incredible Cap City was at our wedding. If you want everyone on the dance floor at your wedding then you NEED to spend the money and book this band. They are so interactive and their performance is truly incredible. I have a background in musical theater and am very critical when it comes to any type of performance or show. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Cap City. If you are reading this, here is your sign to JUST DO IT!!!!! You seriously will not regret it. Cap City IS THE BEST!!!!!

It’s hard to find exact words when it comes to describing Cap City Band because they blow your expectations out of the waters!! They have so much lively energy, are kind, humble, fun, and make you feel so special on your big day. From slower songs to get those sweet moments with one another in the crowd, to bringing every bit of dance moves out of your body, it’s truly unmatched! We have not stopped receiving compliments from our friends and family saying, “that is the best live band I have ever seen!” And it really is true. Cap City knows how it’s done!!! We can’t thank them enough for being there on our big day!

My aunt (and maid of honor) called me from a wedding reception to say this was the THIRD time she'd seen Cap City Band perform at a wedding. They were SO GOOD, that everyone in her friend group had referred them to the next wedding! I immediately booked them for my wedding on 4/30/22, and we LOVED them! Not only did they curate the ceremony music that we selected, but they were the highlight of our reception. My only regret is we didn't have a bigger dance floor, because EVERYONE was dancing!! The performances were extremely entertaining and engaging. As a bonus, the genesis story of how Greg Williams discovered Casey and formed this band will make you appreciate these artists even more. Lastly, I sang a surprise song for my husband, and the band was extremely accommodating - learning the accompaniment and remaining discreet so everyone in the audience was surprised. Several guests came up to me after the wedding to comment on how great the band was. I 100% recommend Cap City Band, and I hope to see them perform again soon!

Cap City played for my 10 year anniversary party and EVERYONE loved them, I told them they made me look good (since I plan events for a living lol). We danced, we limbo'd, we had an AMAZING time. Cap City band made my wedding night so fun! To this day, 6 months later, people still talk about this fun the band was. They were extremely easy to work and communicate with and Greg was amazing! Wow! Of all the decisions we had to make for our daughter’s wedding, this is the one people are still talking about. Casey and the rest of the band entertained the crowd and had our group of all ages dancing all night. The horns were a huge added bonus and were awesome. Having Cap City Band at our wedding in March was seriously one of the best decisions we made in regards to the wedding vendors! We both knew we wanted a live band and ended up picking Cap City Band without ever seeing them live. We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out! From the very beginning everything went smoothly and Greg, the manager, is so helpful and organized. This was definitely one of the vendors I never felt worried about even leading up until the wedding day. They were responsive, on time and got everyone on the dance floor. I can say without a doubt some of our favorite wedding photos are with the band and guests dancing and singing along on the dance floor! People are still talking about the band months later. Even though we never gave them a song list (besides first dance, father/bride, mother/groom) they played one hit after another and we wouldn't change a thing! I couldn't be happier with having Cap City Band perform at our wedding! They did such an amazing job at keeping the dance floor crowded all night long! The best part was the last song of the night when they let my husband and I up on the stage to sing! Such a great memory we will have forever!

After seeing them perform at my sister-in-law’s welcome party last April, my husband and I were already impressed with Cap City. Cap City ended up being way better than the actual wedding reception band after all! When it was time to choose a band for our wedding in Dallas, hiring Cap City was a no brainer. Not only are they half the price of less than mediocre Dallas wedding bands, but they are SO MUCH FUN! Casey and Alyssa basically turned our reception into a full-on concert and everyone loved it! How could you not love Casey’s dance moves though?! Our dances moves pale in comparison to his and we aren’t really the type to be in the spotlight, but my husband and I didn’t even hesitate when Casey asked us to join him on stage. They were also so sweet and accommodating to allow my dad to sing with them for a song or two. Cap City couldn’t have done a better job of engaging the crowd the entire reception and they knew exactly what songs to play. The dance floor was full all night long! Cap City’s energy, talent and professionalism is truly hard to beat. We and our wedding guests are still raving about how much fun our reception was and Cap City exceeded our expectations when the bar was already set high from my sister-in-law’s wedding weekend. We can’t thank Cap City enough for their phenomenal performance and for the priceless memories they’ve given us of our wedding day. I would hire them again and again and you should too 😊

I recently got married. My husband and myself were certain of one thing for our wedding-we wanted a live band. To us the band was an essential piece of the party! From the moment we reached out to Cap City Band about playing our New Years Eve wedding to the night of, they exceeded expectations. Our wedding was so memorable and it was mostly due to the band! Everyone had a blast! The did an amazing job. The band was engaging, the music was fun, and they were responsible for setting the tone of the dance party. We had Cap City perform for our wedding in Houston, Texas. We had the entire band with the horn section and they made our party amazing! All our guests still talk about our wedding (over two years later) and how one of the best memories is how the band performed. They brought an amazing energy to the experience and were all so lovely. We used Cap City (and Cap City Horns) for our wedding and was one of the best decisions we made! They honestly couldn't have done a better job--the dance floor was packed the entire night! Cap City Band just performed at my wedding (less than 24 hours ago!!) and I am already writing this review because I am blown away at how amazing they were! They were professional, extremely nice, and so much fun! Any crowd would love them. They are super interactive and make sure everyone’s having a great time! I would choose them over and over and over again. They truly exceeded all expectations I had and made my wedding even better than I could of imagined!

Cap City Band played at our daughter's wedding September 22, 2018, at Eagle Dancer Ranch in Boerne, TX. They did a fabulous job! The music was great and they mixed in with the crowd a bit. They were definitely entertaining. They really added that extra element to the wedding which our guests thoroughly enjoyed!

My husband and I had recently gotten engaged when we went to Crossroads Saloon in Fredericksburg TX with two other couples. We did not know anything about Cap City Band but "live action dance band" was an exciting concept that we had never seen before. Five minutes into their performance my girlfriend came up to me saying "THIS IS YOUR BAND!" I agreed 100% because their talent and energy is incredible and they were the perfect fit for the group of people who would be at my wedding. Leading up to the wedding was so easy. Greg was kind and responsive and the band is so flexible. He worked with me and my mother and prepping for the wedding band was possibly the most enjoyable part of the planning process. THE WEDDING DAY :) My husband and my first dance was sang by my little sister who was able to collaborate with the keyboard player from the band which is easily one of the most memorable parts of the wedding for me. Also, all the members of the band were so personable and present throughout the wedding. They watched and enjoyed the speeches with us, and took photos with the wedding party. It felt as though they were guests at the wedding and I wouldn't have asked for it to be any other way. AS FOR THE MUSIC! I did not get to specific as to what I wanted the band to play. my mother was concerned about older guests not dancing because of the genre or the lack of enough country music. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. my guests danced all night long!! my grandparents were on the dance floor all night and rave about the band to this day. They took short breaks as well which is something that we took into consider when thinking bands vs. DJs. How pleased I am with this band is indescribable. they were so much fun and so interactive. I got to rap Ice Ice baby and my husband and I were on the stage for a few songs as well! One month later, and my guests are still calling my wedding the best they have ever been to! Cap City Band is a group of extremely talented professionals and if you are reading this review, BOOK THEM. Don't look anywhere else. I promise you will not be disappointed. <3<3

Cap City Band put on an outstanding performance for our wedding. To me, the band was one of the most important parts of the wedding planning process, and, after seeing several live bands around Austin in price range, I was starting to get discouraged that we weren't going to be able to find a good band for our wedding. However, once I saw Cap City Band and saw that they were in our budget (with brass section included), I knew we were in good hands. They brought so much energy and kept our reception party rocking all night! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This band was phenomenal. As the groom, I had one request for our wedding and that was to pick the band. I was very meticulous about my research and read countless reviews for several bands, visited all of their sites, reviewed their set lists, and watched/listened to their music. Their manager Greg was very easy to get a hold of and extremely accommodating. He works with you to get exactly what you want at a price you can afford. Fast forward to the wedding day and the band was a blast. They had everyone dancing the whole time and sounded amazing. Their lead singers were a lot of fun as they'd get out on the dance floor with you and really engage the crowd. If you're looking for a fun, energetic band that'll keep the dance floor alive, Cap City is your group.

My daughter and son in law wanted a band for their wedding reception. Since both of them attended school at The University of Texas in Austin, you would think finding a band would be easy. It did take a little research for them and their diligence paid off! Cap City Band made their wedding reception a huge success in San Antonio. It was easy working with Greg Williams. They even allowed my daughter, the bride, to sing to her groom for a surprise. No one left the dance floor the entire night! The music appealed to every age group. The band is so important because they really are the MC for the whole evening. Thank you Cap City and Greg for making it a wedding we will never forget!

Cap City Bands true professionalism, positive energy & efficiency toward our event timeline made our wedding flow seamlessly & become the memory we've always dreamt about. The band manager was supposed to emcee the wedding as he described and ended up ruining my wedding by double booking and working as an emcee on the same night as the band played at my wedding. The entire flow was a disaster due to not having an emcee at all. He is completely rude and unprofessional the entire time. I should have known not to book the vendor.

Cap City was INCREDIBLE!!!!! A huge hit with all our friends & family! They were so friendly, great to work with and kept the party going all night! We would highly recommend them for your wedding or special event!

Cap City Band was incredible!! They were the life of the party. They kept the dance floor at our wedding full until the very last song. All of our guests loved them, and we all had the best time! Cap City Band (with full horns section) was our wedding band and they were PHENOMENAL. One of the most important pieces of our wedding was making sure we had a band that could play a variety of hits that would keep everyone on the dance floor all night long - Greg and the Cap City Band did just that! If you want a band that can play Motown hits, classic slow songs, and the appropriate pop songs that even your grandmother will dance to then this is the band for you! We had over 200 guests at our wedding and the dance floor was packed ALL night long including our grandmothers, aunt, uncles, cousins, and best friends! In addition to pure talent, every member of the band was so much fun to watch, they interacted with us on the dance floor and truly put on a great show. To this day, we are still getting rave reviews of how great the band was. Additionally, the band was very willing to do their first "private last dance" with us, they sang to just myself and my husband before we excited the venue and it was one of the most special moments of our wedding! We are so appreciative of their willingness to play a beautiful, classic song to us while we danced and took in the final moments of our wedding day. We are so glad that Cap City Band was our wedding band and we highly recommend you consider them as yours - you and your guests won't be disappointed!

This band is simply awesome! Hands down, just awesome! Seriously, if I could giv e them 10 stars I would, because that is what they more than deserve! They had us on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, as well as all of our wedding guests, and gave us nonstop energy. They nailed every single song that they played, and just when I thought they couldn't get any better or top the song that they were playing, what do you know, the next song was even more amazing. They were truly so excited to be at our reception and their energy and talent far surpassed anything me or my husband could have imagined or hoped for. Our friends and family have all raved about how great they are and consistently said that this band is the best wedding band they have ever seen. Bottom line, if you are looking for a band that will make your wedding fabulous, then look no further!

They performed at our wedding reception and we absolutely loved them! They were easy to work with and a great price. They opened the night with some jazzy cocktail music during dinner. Then, they transitioned into more up tempo beats that our guests enjoyed dancing to! I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a fun cover band!

We hired Cap City Band for our May 14th wedding at Sisterdale Dancehall. They had great energy and really got the crowd energized and dancing. They even jumped off stage and got in the middle of us dancing to finish one of the songs. So fun! Greg is really great to work with, super organized and really quick to respond to email and texts. Overall we had such a wonderful night and it was in large part to the amazing variety the band had to offer! Thank you!

I very rarely write reviews however my experience with Greg and Cap City Band was one I felt was worth sharing. My husband and I didn't not have a huge wedding with hundreds of guests but I knew the most important thing to us was that everyone had a good time. Greg and his team did more than achieve this. We are a family that thrives on music, regardless of genre, and when I say they had my ENTIRE wedding on their feet, I mean it. My dad was even dancing until the very last song! As a bride, you spend so much time mingling with the guests that it's hard to find a moment after the ceremony that makes you feel like the center of attention, but that definitely wasn't something the band was going to let happen! They jumped off stage, sang and danced with our guests (which they LOVED), and made a point to grab me to dance and sing to me. Let me tell you, that made for some INCREDIBLE video footage :) I really appreciated how knowledgeable the entire team was as well. I could be as particular as I wanted regarding certain requests, but for the things I really didn't know what I wanted, Greg and his crew were right there to carry me through (example: I iced my husband during the garder toss and Greg started playing Vanilla Ice lol). Not only am I still having people ask me about them so they can book them, my sister even locked down his other band, Uptown Drive, for her wedding in June!! I personally consider myself lucky to have had them play my wedding and would recommend them for ANY event! They are a total game changer!
