Had a great experience working with Cape Cod Cakes and they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with gluten free cupcakes! Day of the wedding, delivery was as smooth as silk...
and the cupcakes were beautiful and tasted delicious. Thanks so much for making our big day all the sweeter! :)
Cape cod cakes did such an amazing job on our wedding cake, it came out so beautiful, just as we pictured. It was a pleasure working with them!
Julie is amazing...not only was the cake incredibly gorgeous, it was absolutely delicious! Julie was excellent to work with and her cakes are top quality. She also offers a free to...
p layer of your cake at your one year anniversary of you remind her in advance! Loved it!!
Everything was set up via phone and email. On the day of our wedding the cake never showed up. We called and emailed but we didn't get a reply. Next day we got an apology - someh...
ow the owner had and emergency and the person left in charge didn't realize there was a wedding cake to be made. Sad story.
Our cake was simple, and our cupcakes only two... but this cake was worth eating the entire week after!! We eloped and ate our cupcakes at our wedding lunch. Delicious and beautiful...
ly decorated! The cake was stored until later on in the evening.. we had it for dessert and shared it with some of the other guests at the inn where we were staying. 'This is the way a wedding cake should taste' was one of the remarks from a taster. Not only beautiful on the outside but worth the nibble every night afterwards until the cake was gone!!! We plan on getting an 'Anniversary" cake every year!!
The cake was beautiful. it was exactly what we wanted, and it was so yummy!
Our cake was delicious, though not exactly as we had envisioned it. Nonetheless, it was beautiful and I wouldn't change it for the world. We had a three tier cake to feed 50 people...
, and it was exceptionally delicious. We had a dark chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling, and a white chocolate cake with strawberry cream filling, all covered with a buttercream frosting. I had two pieces myself, and we can't wait to dig in for our one year anniversary. Julie was helpful, friendly, and easy to contact, which is great when you're planning from a distance.
Our grooms cake was a huge hit and they even were able to arrange someone to deliver for us on the day of the rehearsal dinner. Thanks!
It's hard for me to review this vendor because A. the cake was DELICIOUS and B. it was very pretty. However, the design of the cake was not what I asked for at all. Thank goodness ...
it was still cute, but still, it wasn't what I asked for. I think part of the problem was lack of communication because I planned my wedding from out of state and wasn't a crazy bride checking in on all my vendors around the clock, but I do think it was an error that could have been avoided.
We had cake, cupcakes and truffles...all were delicious! I would highly recommend.
I absolutely loved my cake. I am a girl who loves her sweets and the cake was a big decision for me. I wanted the design to be simple but the flavor to be amazing and she did jus...
t that. The cake was so moist and everyone said how much they loved it. I had a 3 tier cake and every layer was a different flavor, it was perfect.
The cake was delivered 10 minutes before the wedding started when it was supposed to be there 2 hours prior. The delivery guy was unproffesional and simply dropped the cake and ran...
. He didn't put the flowers on it!!! So I am about to walk down the aisle and I have to go put the flowers on my own wedding cake!! The icing was melting and the entire cake was leaning, it looked extremely sloppy.
We ordered 3 tiers: vanilla, chocolate and vanilla with no fillings just buttercream inbetween. Well we got vanilla with strawberries in the middle. Which did taste good.. but we had guests who were allegric to strawberry which is why we were careful not to order that.
Everytime I called to ask a question no one would return my phone call or email. The only time they would send me emails is to get their money.
She was a very sweet lady and baked a delicious white chocolate cake;We were told that the 'buttercream frosting' would be off-white. It was YELLOW. It tasted great but looked aw...
ful. Do not look for 'price' -- look for reputation. Would suggest Cape Cod Cakes for a birthday cake but not wedding cake.
