We hired Cape Cod String Quartet to perform at our pre-ceremony and ceremony at our May 2026 wedding in Boston. From the start, Dan was a delight. He worked with us to accommodate our budget, had great communication, and was warm and friendly. He helped with song selection and even accommodated a special request for us! We had a pianist and violinist and are still hearing how special they were from our guests. My only regret was that I didn’t get to speak to them in person on the wedding day! I was in hair and make up during their arrival / warm up, and then it was Go Time - so I could only give a little wave. I would have loved to catch up for a chat before they left for the evening. We would recommend Cape Cod String Quartet a hundred times over!!
Cape Cod String Quartet was one of our best vendors for our wedding this summer! They were very accommodating (made videos playing the songs we were interested in beforehand to send to us), very professional day-of, and so gracious! We really loved working with Cape Cod String Quartet and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. We booked the violinist and cellist to welcome our guests to their seats/during our ceremony and then only the violinist stayed for cocktail hour. Many guests commented on how beautiful it was! We are so appreciative for their hard work and professionalist.

- Very Important - unlike most wedding musicians who meet for the first time on your big day and have not rehearsed and performed together regularly, the Cape Cod String Quartet has a concert season and therefore, we rehearse and perform together regularly. Continuous rehearsal and performance creates familiarity and understanding in a musical sense so that we become a unit who can interact musically at a very high level. Some string quartets perform well together occasionally but, we want to set ourselves apart from others by delivering a very polished, expressive, and seamless music experience. Owner
Dan Flonta is a violinist and he is the founder of the Cape Cod String Quartet. Mr. Flonta is a very active member of the performing community on Cape Cod. Mr. Dan Flonta earned his Master of Music in Violin Performance from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and his Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from The Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Mr. Flonta has performed extensively throughout Europe and North America.
