er parties in the whole place; we were able to move the party and enjoy our time in the main room as you come in (beside the bookstore). The gorgeous ceilings, decorated already for the holidays... voided if they knew how to fully communicate things properly. This is also not the venue for you if you want to make sure your special day is the focal point.
The day of the wedding there was two other events, that put a lot of strain on the ONE coordinator the venue had running ALL THREE events that day.
They didn't have a proper working refrigerator so the wedding flowers for the men for BOTH wedding they hosted were mixed together.
After getting our wobbly arbor up (thats a review for a different rental place), we had extremely rude Botanical Garden visitors messing with it that proceeded to curse at me when I told them "if you are not with the bridal party leave the arbor alone", this caused more emotion considering it was a concern that was brought up a few times but each time we were reassured that there would be someone there to make sure no one was messing with the ceremony arrangements on the pond lawn.
After al that the wedding went smoothly until I was stopped by the closers and told that the bridal party needs to clean up the reception hall's trash on all the tables, that it was our responsibility or the bride wouldn't get her deposit back. I apologized and said I would have had it done already but we were told we had nothing else to do after we took down all of our decorations, I was then rudely told "well its in the contact". Be that if it may, but when someone asks you after clearing the decorations if that was all they needed to do, don't say yes. Also, if you are planning on the wedding party cleaning the trash, place trash cans in the venue so guests could discard of their trash. When you leave a room with NOTHING to place waste it is automatically assumed that it is being taken care of for you. I was a bride's maid, I never saw the contract but the rudeness was uncalled for by the night staff.
To wrap this up, if you choose this venue make sure you have your wedding at 5pm when the venue is closed or else you might run into rude garden visitors messing with the ceremony spot and make sure you bring a list of questions and triple check! and that you are ready to do almost everything yourself.

The Garden went above and beyond our contract requirements to help set up, move equipment, and work with our other vendors. I highly recommend this gorgeous location with their sweet staff, comprehensive amenities, high quality preferred venders, and flawless wedding day execution. Thanks so much for the incredible night!

paid hundreds for our 10 minute booking meeting and a few emails back and forth, because that is the extent of the work that had been done on our event. Pretty ridiculous considering we had no affect on the place's ability to book a new event for that weekend that was 365 days away. Very inflexible and stingy policies, so be very careful.

ng reception location. From day one, all the staff was knowledgeable, accessible, and extremely professional. We had a smooth experience with the planning process and all the aspects handled by the Garden staff. And then all the planning made for a beautiful summer evening in a gorgeous setting and there were no issues! The grounds looked warm and welcoming, clean and with many bright blooms. The Orangery was even more elegant than I could ever have imagined. The lighting (Five Star Entertainment) provided in the Orangery and the outside tent (provided by Saam's Party Rentals) was splendid, the flowers done by Always Flowers by Crenshaw's were an example of simple, southern elegance, and the caterer, Aberdeen Catery, left all raving about the food and its deliciousness. Many thanks also to Donna Foley (cake), and Jody Brandon of Atlanta for his guidance and assistance in creating a fabulous decor. Jay Christina Photography and Twenty-One Films also provided us with many wonderful photos and videos of the weekend. And last but not least, The Band of Oz was full of the awesomeness we knew they would be!!!
