About this vendor
Cape May Flower Co. is a wedding florist based in Cape May, NJ. The business specializes in capturing nature’s natural essence by fashioning a mixture of flowers into intricate floral bunches. All flowers are meticulously selected and gathered from several fields for different and fresh styles.
Amy O'Brien grew up surrounded by vibrant blossoms and verdant leaves. While immersed in her enchanting world, Amy’s mother taught her the art of cutting and tying flowers into beautiful arrangements. Once she reached adulthood, Amy followed in her mother’s footsteps and opened her own flower shop, the Cape May Flower Co.
Amy skillfully fashions blossoms and greenery into delicate and whimsical designs. She artfully selects various colors and textures that are complementary to each other for stylish final looks. Amy tastefully incorporates items such as silky ribbons and bows for dreamy arrangements. She draws inspiration from nature’s wild side to craft rustic bouquets and to formulate interesting concepts. For added variation, Amy enjoys working with local farmers to discover new plants and collect seasonal blooms.
Couples can personalize their wedding aesthetics by choosing from the range of flower decor available. In addition to bouquets, Amy offers blossom embellishments for wedding arbors, cakes, hairstyles, and much more. Using her trained eye, Amy can create custom designs to decorate almost any space and leave wedding guests submerged in a beautiful sea of flowers.

The flowers survived a 90 degree day and my bridal bouquet made it down the aisle and up and down all 199 steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse without falling apart. They also helped with details when purchasing a memory charm from another vendor to add to a boutonnière then added the charm securely and gorgeously. owed her a Pinterest board with some themes I liked, and I thought they were all over the place, but somehow she was able to extract the overall essence from them and come up with the most gorgeous arrangements! I wanted one particular flower that ended up being really hard to get and would have been super expensive for the time of year, so Amy asked me to trust her and she put together something even better. I had originally had all pale colors in mind, and she brought in some wine colors to make it "moody", as she described it, and it added a lovely contrast. Guests took home the centerpieces and gushed about them for weeks after my wedding. Amy even made flower crowns for me, my maid of honor and my flower girl, and they were expertly crafted and were the finishing touches to my whimsical, romantic wedding.
