Cape Tunes is the best of the best if you're having your special day in or around Massachusetts. We worked with Scott and Peter to iron out every detail of how we wanted the wedding to sound, look, and feel, and they were endlessly patient and knowledgable. Peter is what I would describe as an expert in the industry - the wedding day ended up being torrentially rainy and he pivoted and adjusted to varying needs with grace and ease. The day was made possible because of him. Best of the best, thank you forever!!

Booking and organizing details was easy with this DJ service. Cost was within our budget and loved the add on options. Everyone was on the dance floor and having a great time! I would definitely recommend doing a pre-wedding meeting with your DJ to ensure music is correct and any other communications for what you are expecting. Things to go over would be making sure the ceremony music is accurate, and reception intro set up the way you are expecting. We had some minor miscommunications that would have been avoided if we had the pre meeting. Overall I would definitely recommend Cape Tunes everyone had a great time!

Super easy to work with from start to finish! Great pricing! Brendan kept the energy up all night long, took some video and arranged to send it to the best man and the best touch was sneaking a confetti cannon to my brother in law (a groomsmen) to blast eighth as we walked out! Super thoughtful touch and super nice guy! Would highly recommend!

Cape Tunes was a joy to work with! The booking process was easy and efficient. They allowed me to sing during the mother/son dance (at my MIL's request) without a second thought, which was very special to our families. The day of, we had the pleasure of working with Scott. Not only was Scott kind, funny, and professional, but he also color-coordinated his outfit to our wedding colors! He connected with us throughout the night and brought a calm, collected energy to everything. He also treated our parties with respect, checking to make sure he addressed them by the correct names and titles for their intros. He kept us laughing and we felt like he had our back all night. In addition, we added uplighting and the pearl photo booth. Our guests LOVED the digital photo booth and Scott emailed us all the pictures the next day. (He even added a special photo booth backdrop on the fly with our names!) We had so much fun going through all of them on our honeymoon. We can't recommend Cape Tunes highly enough!

Brendan was an awesome DJ. We got married at Chatham Bars Inn in August and we found him really nice, easy to work with, and he works with the crowd to provide requests and with the bride and groom to provide the right vibe and music. Scott was the best DJ we could have hired. He kept the fun vibes throughout the entire reception we were so sad to see it come to an end. When we had our first conversation with Scott, we explained our whole goal was to have a fun party atmosphere...he said to trust him and that he would delivery and he did absolutely that! We had so much fun and our guests had such an amazing time - the only complaint we had from any of our guests from the whole wedding was that we should have had a bigger dance floor!!

Scott was fantastic! We hired him for our wedding with a mix of people with different ages and backgrounds. From the start, he was quick to reply to our emails, very considerate of our questions and comments, and worked with us to ensure everything would be as we wished. His worksheets were straightforward and easy to complete as well. On the day of, he was dressed for the occasion, played everything right on cue, and introduced himself to us once we entered the room for our cocktail hour. We’re also very happy with the pictures from the photo booth. We love to dance and Scott kept the dance floor going the entire evening! I had the pleasure of working with Scott and DJ Cubey at my birthday event at the Pilgrim Monument and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. DJ Cubey was amazing and was able to get me and a crowd, of widely varying ages, out on the floor and having fun. Cape tunes knocked It out of the park at our wedding. We got married at Bourne farm, which is a fully outdoor venue. There are a lot of specificities that come with this venue, getting music and speakers to our ceremony, our cocktail hour, and to our reception is not a simple feat. Cape tunes did It so seamlessly, there were absolutely no problems with speakers and sound at any of the spots we needed music/sound. Our dance floor was absolutely electric- all of our guests commenting on how much fun the dance floor and the songs were. Keith was a blast, got the people going, and honored every single one of our song requests. Can’t recommend cape tunes more!

We had DJ Keith for our wedding on June 28th at Wequassett. He was excellent!! He met with us over FaceTime before the wedding so we could get to know each other a little bit. He did an amazing job for us. Highly recommend!

Absolutely THE BEST! Cape Tunes knocked it out of the park! We had Scott for our wedding and truly couldn’t have been happier with our decision. From our first inquiry until even after the wedding day Scott took care of us 110%. He was not only very responsive and accommodating but also extremely knowledgeable, a true professional in the business. He even got the least expected to dance and can read the room like no other. In Scott’s words “ it’s a no brainer” for me to say, he is the DJ you want for your special day or event!

Cape Tunes did all the audio/media for our wedding and it went flawlessly! Audio problems can really throw off the vibe of a wedding and Cape Tubes had to set up mics and speakers in four different locations and all the transitions were seamless. We had Keith, who played a great playlist and brought such a fun vibe to the wedding. Cape Tunes also set up our media (projector, mics, screen etc) for our welcome party and everything worked great!

Communicating with Cape Tunes up until the wedding was easy and we were beyond happy with how the music was handled throughout our wedding, our DJ knew exactly what to do and when, everything felt seamless. Highly recommend!

DJ Tommy was awesome!! We had such a great experience with Cape Tunes. DJ Tommy was great to work with. He listened to the songs we liked and wanted to hear and then played songs that fit the vibe. He had people dancing all night long. All ages enjoyed the music and complimented us on the music. Our guests always loved the Photo Booth!! It was nice to have guests take home pictures with them and then we got to keep them all in a book as well! Would highly recommend.

We had Brendan as our Cape Tunes DJ for our wedding at 1620 Winery. He read the room perfectly and played music that made it tough to leave the dance floor. We had requested music for the standard events of the night (processional, first dance, father/daughter, cake cutting, etc), but left the rest up to him for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Of all the wonderful compliments we received about our wedding, I think the most fanfare we had was for how great the DJ was! Thank you so much, Brendan!

THE BEST! While there were a couple of technical difficulties (a bit of a hiccup in the processional music and our needing to get Scott's attention to cut the music to start toasts) the afternoon and evening were amazing! Once we shared our music worksheets with Scott, we knew we were all on the same page, and his communication was stellar (and hilarious!) He knew exactly the vibe we were going for, wasn't an overly chatty MC (which was very much appreciated - we just wanted that sweet, sweet music!), and was just so welcoming and cheerful the entire day/night. I was worried I was becoming a bit of a bridezilla with my requests, but my mom later told me he went to her specifically to tell her I could not have been further from it (so don't hesitate to ask questions and communicate with Scott - he clearly doesn't mind! But also trust that he knows what he's doing, because he also clearly does.) We had an off-season, mid-week wedding, so saved a considerable chunk of change, and we got a lot of bang for our buck! Every weird song we requested for our big moments and Must Haves, he had! He even pulled songs from his own personal playlists that we really enjoyed and completely flowed with our vibes. The sound levels were perfect for all of our guests. When the dance floor opened, he even asked if we were cool with flashing lights - thank goodness he did, too, because we hadn't even thought of that! One of our guests randomly has seizures- who knows what would have happened if he hadn't asked?! Amazing guy with a great sense of humor and sense of what his clients are going for. Don't hesitate - book now!

Scott from Cape tunes did an AMAZING job as our DJ for our wedding at the RW botanical center this past weekend. He nailed our suggested music genres and really made sure everyone stayed on the dance floor the whole night. We can’t say enough great things about him! The price was exceptionally reasonable and I’d highly recommend adding up lights too.

Everybody uses Cape Tunes for a reason! Best party starters and incredible professionals at the same time. I got married on Labor Day Weekend, the DJ arrived early, got set up without a hitch and took care of everything we asked for. We also rented uplighting from them at the same time. DJ Cubey is the best wedding DJ ever! The dance floor was packed all night. He went above and beyond to deliver us the most fantastic day and made a special effort to accommodate all our requests. We are London based but he was only too happy to liaise with us and some of our friends remotely - nothing was too much for him. DJ Cubey was the BEST!! We had sooo much fun on the dance floor of our wedding all thanks to him. He did a great job of making sure the party was always going strong. I loved how interactive he was with the crowd - he would come on the dance floor to lead line dances, take requests, and take photos/videos! Jake at CapeTunes was an awesome DJ- he read the room and had the perfect balance of classics and new songs that got everyone dancing. He also pivoted last minute from an outside ceremony/reception to indoor due to rain. We are so grateful for the CapeTunes team!

We ended up renting the photo booth last minute since another wedding was not going to use it and our guests loved it not only did they use it throughout the whole night but it gave the guests something to do as a break between the dancing. The DJ was amazing the playlist fit our crowd of guests that varied in age from early twenties to late 80s and everyone was on the dancefloor the whole night. The uplighting we chose was stationary and it really elevated the room and changed the ambience.

Scott was amazing! He was so helpful leading up to our wedding day. Scott was so personable & really got our group dancing! We had more older guests than ones our age and Scott found music that got everyone moving! One thing our guests complimented him on was how he played music soft enough for guests to talk to one another during dinner! My husband and I would 100% recommend Scott for your next special event!

We engaged Cape Tunes, DJ Scott for our June 2023 wedding and are pleased that we did. Cape Tunes was so easy to work with. If you’re on the fence about hiring an MC for your wedding, don’t think twice. DJ Scott was so professional, respectful of our wishes, and took extra care to make sure that he pronounced everyone’s names correctly. He never took over the show. The music was perfect, great flow. He really read the crowd and had people on the dance floor dancing all night. Our guests keep telling us about how good he did, it was such a blast!

DJ Brendan was our DJ for our wedding at Waverly Oaks Golf Club and he did a phenomenal job!!! All of the songs that we picked were correctly played and he kept the dance floor full all night long! We got so many compliments about the music and how good he was! We also added on the photo booth option and that was a huge hit with the guests! Every time I passed it there were people taking pictures. We were even provided with a book full of photos at the end of the night from our guests who used it. Cape Tunes were the perfect vendor our April wedding. Scott made the booking and communication regarding our details seamless and easy. He was responsive and even went above and beyond to locate the specific version of a song we wanted for our first dance. However, if you pick Cape Tunes, I highly recommend you request Brendan to be your day of DJ. Brendan communicated with us as much as we needed leading up to the day, took the time to practice the names of each person being introduced, and read the room perfectly. With a smaller wedding (55 people) I had concerns about things being lively and upbeat, but with Brendan that was not a concern! The dance floor was filled almost all night, and Brendan handled each request, and each change in the mood perfectly. A true professional with amazing creativity! As for our photobooth, Sam ran it perfectly, keeping people engaged, and made sure to personally hand us our photos and USB drive at the end of the night. I couldn't be happier with all the work Cape Tunes did for our day.

We can not say enough great things about DJ Scott! He was fantastic from having a zoom chat with us and explaining his process and a nice chat to coordination and fun on the day of our wedding last weekend. The music was amazing and everyone was having a great time! And he was kind to come over and ask us if it was ok to play when someone requested a specific song that was not on our 'definitely play list' or 'do not play list'. The uplighting was also great and we did the pearl photo booth which got people taking super fun pictures. So glad we chose Cape Tunes!! The communication was great from the beginning, any questions we had were answered quickly and with plenty of detail. Scott was AMAZING! He made sure to play all of the songs we really wanted to hear and kept everyone on the dance floor all night and was just so easy to work with! We received an offer the week before our wedding to add on a photobooth package at a price we couldn't pass up since it had not been booked for our date and could not have been happier with the result! The booth was a hit with every guest and we were able to get a link with access to all of the pictures from that night! Our wedding day was fun and unreal in the North End (Boston) with my best friend Scott Rosenthal being my best man he was able to DJ our wedding. make announcements and handle the speeches perfectly. He had everyone dancing all night right up until the end. Both sides of our families loved him. Cape Tunes came recommended to us by our videographer, so we reached out to book them as soon as we could. When we reached out, all of the DJs were booked for our wedding night, but Scott (owner) explained that he would personally DJ our wedding as a few of his other DJs were booked at the same venue that day! From the moment we talked we Scott we knew his personality and energy would be a good fit. Scott provided us with an in-depth pre-wedding "worksheet" to understand out song selections. During our reception, we had all guests do the hora. As many of the guests were not Jewish, Scott took the time to narrate what to do so everyone felt included in the fun! He also made sure the venue provided us (bride and groom) with chairs with arms to prevent any unexpected falls as we were hoisted into the air by the crowd! During the night, he kept the dance floor busy with fantastic song selections. He had a perfect balance of upbeat songs with some slow songs sprinkled in. We also used Cape Tunes for their photo booth and up lighting, which added the perfect extra touches to the reception space. Scott may have felt like he was competing with the photo booth at times, but we didn't feel that way! If anything, it was a testament to the great services this company provides for their couples!

Scott was fantastic! This was the only vendor I chose for my wedding that I did not have a personal relationship too. I found Scott based upon knot reviews and I was NOT disappointed. When I told my photographer who we chose for a DJ, she was thrilled! She had worked with Cape Tunes before and had nothing but good things to say. Scott checked in with us before each of the big events to double check on songs and make sure we knew what to expect. He set up the speeches so that we (the bride and groom) were right next to the people talking and could see and hear everything. He gave us cue signals in case we wanted to end any of the dances early. Several guests asked for Scott's playlist because they loved it that much! People were on the dance floor ALL night long!

DJ Scott was fantastic! He was incredibly accommodating, including a last minute change to have a family member sing one of our songs. Selecting 10 must plays and 10 do not plays felt impossible to encompass our music tastes but he totally nailed it. We were on the dance floor all night long and had a blast. The lighting and photo booths were also great additions. Highly recommend him for your wedding/special event!

I am so glad we booked Cape Tunes for our wedding entertainment. Our DJ, Eric took the time to have a phone call with us a few days before the wedding to go over some last minute details which reassured us going into a hectic weekend. He played all the songs we wanted at exactly the right time, and was excellent with the transitions as well. He definitely won the crown over with a last encore of Dancing Queen! Don't think, if they're available, just book with Cape Tunes! From the very beginning, Cape Tunes was one of the most pleasant vendors to work with. The owner Scott always responded promptly to any emails with questions/comments/etc. - whatever we needed. They were 100% transparent regarding pricing and what was included which was refreshing. They provided worksheets for us to complete to help us make sure we had songs for everything that we needed to. The day of our wedding we had DJ Jake. He was awesome! The dance floor had people on it ALL night and there wasn't one song that was played that we didn't like. He followed our requests and choices to the letter and was flexible when we had to make some last minute changes due to my father, sister and brother in law being sick and unable to attend and a bridesmaid that had to leave early to tend to a sick child. In addition to handling all the music, DJ Jake also took TONS of pictures and videos and then shared the album with us a couple of days after the wedding. That was so nice, an extra special little touch which we really appreciated.

So I am one of those lucky brides who has an older sister who has already been married! My sister, Denice, and her husband, Aaron, had DJ Brendan at their 2020 wedding and immediately we knew that we NEEDED Brendan to join us at ours (even though at that point we were not even engaged haha)! As soon as our engagement did happen and we began booking vendors, we reached out to Cape Tunes hopeful that Brendan would be available for 10/1/2022 date…spoiler, he was!! Brendan kept the dance floor PACKED the whole night with music, literally we had people shoulder to shoulder. Not only that but Brendan mad a great MC and was so on top of the timeline and responsive to the many last minute changes we made! Brendan has this “go for it” attitude and had a smile on the entire night. Honestly we just love him and appreciate that he was able to join us, we would recommend Cape Tunes and DJ Brendan for any event. He nailed our event from the ceremony right up until pack up!

Due to a storm they sent a DJ to the island the night before at no extra cost. QB was great and made the night! Highly suggested!

e live in western Mass and we're planning our wedding on cape cod at the sea crest beach resort. We chose to book cape tunes to provide our music. We spoke with Scott the owner who was very informative about what we needed and felt his company offered a quality product at a fair price. As we got closer to the date, a DJ was assigned; Brendan. We spoke on the phone a couple of months before our big day. Let me tell you this guy was the bomb. We gave him a playlist of what we liked, and when we spoke, he was able to get a feel to what we wanted. We hadn't officially met him on the day, but he had everything set up at the ceremony. He moved to the cocktail hour seamlessly. Many songs from what we gave him. Then to the reception, again, easy transition. He got the place rocking! He is a true professional, and LOVES what he does. Book him for your disc jockey needs...you will not be disappointed!

We used Cape Tunes for our wedding on 9/16/22 after attending our sister's wedding last year. They were amazing! Throughout the planning process they were super responsive. They are also affordable! We loved that they don't have to move their equipment around and set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception separately. We had the owner Scott- he was a blast and played everything we wanted! He was also very personable and just great to work with. Highly suggest using Cape Tunes for your DJ!

Cape Tunes was amazing to work with, they talked to us throughout the process to figure out what was important to us and what type of music we’re into well before the wedding! On the day of the wedding we had Brendan as our DJ and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. The ceremony went so smoothly and was beautiful! He had everyone dancing very early on and the party never stopped thanks to him!! We’ve had so many people reach out saying how it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to and I credit that largely to the music and environment Brendan created! We can never thank Cape Tunes enough for giving us above and beyond the day and night we always envisioned.

Cape Tunes was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ! We had DJ Keith, and he came right on time, set up on his own, and was extremely professional throughout the night. My husband and I only gave DJ Keith 10 songs to play, and he did an amazing job reading the room and playing his selection of music (in addition to our 10 songs) during cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We had an outdoor wedding of 175 people under a tent. We also had the Pearl photobooth, which was a hit with all our guests! They loved receiving the photos right to their phones after. The photo booth didn't take up any space and the photos were great quality. In addition, while reviewing other DJ options, Cape Tunes was very affordable. We are extremely grateful for Cape Tunes and highly recommend them for any wedding/event!
