Both really listened to my feedback after the trial and made adjustments accordingly (highly recommend doing a trial, don't skip it!!). My hair and makeup so well done that it survived absolute TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR and hardly needed a touchup. And most importantly, all four of the artists who came from C&T on the day of my wedding were superb. They were so pleasant to be around, and kept the vibes on my wedding day light and easy. You don't fully realize when you book hair and makeup services that you're going to be with these people for several hours during a very vulnerable time. Being with people who are just nice and genuine matters a lot -- and that's what C&T provided. Thank you so much to Kate, Deanna, Debra, and everyone at Capelli and Trucco for making me, my mom, my MIL, and my bridesmaids feel like rockstars. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

trial out of the park and got my vision in one try. On the day of the wedding, the C&T crew was on time and even finished all 10 of my bridesmaids, my mom, aunt, and myself ahead of schedule. Every single person's makeup and hair looked outstanding and they truly made it such a personal experience. After each girl's makeup service was done, the artist would take them privately into the bathroom and ensure that if there was anything they wanted changed that they felt comfortable speaking up - this was important to me as friends and sister in laws all wear different amounts/types of makeup and whether it be full glam or a natural look C&T listened and made everyone feel and look so beautiful! Would highly recommend them.

The team arrived on time and were ready to glam me and my girls. The team was so easy to get along with and it felt like we were all friends just hanging out! Erin (hair) & Nay (makeup) were incredible during my trial and took to heart all the feedback I sent them a few days later. Erin chatted with me several times to create my day of schedule with all my bridesmaids and family members. Erin was also incredibly helpful as we dealt with COVID/ the Omicron variant in making sure each C&T team member was tested before our event to ensure my and my guests comfort. And now to the good part...our hair and makeup, from mine to my bridesmaids to my cousins was GORGEOUS. Each of us looked like absolute rockstars and had our hair and makeup dreams come to life. The entire team (2 hair and 2 makeup) were also very flexible throughout the day - some hair/makeup took longer than expected, some took shorter - and they were able to adjust and keep things moving to keep us on time. And the team was so much fun and helped create a fun and comfortable environment throughout our get ready day. Thank you C&T Team!!!

I didn’t want to straighten my hair or look super demure and soft — I wanted my bouncy, tight curls but elevated, a hot pink lip, rosy cheeks, purple shadow and lots of highlight — the team really listened to me and made it all happen. I worked with Stacy (hair) and Dee (makeup) for my look and they were lovely and fun and really skilled. They were also really easy to talk to and connect with. After my consultation with them, I gave them feedback that they ended up incorporating into my final wedding look. There are so many talented hair stylists and make-up artists out there, but communication is just as important. Dee ended up going out and getting some extra eyeshadows that were a better fit for what I wanted and Stacy used a smaller curler to give me a tighter curl. Stacy and Dee’s ability to take my notes and create a look that better aligned with my vision makes them better at what they do and that’s why I can 100% recommend working with them. They will listen to you and work on giving you what you want and what makes you happy and that is the marker of an amazing hair/makeup artist. Stacy, Dee along with the other 2 artists glammed up my 6 bridesmaids along with my mom and mother-in-law. They did a FANTASTIC job and in a record amount of time too. Everyone looked and felt amazing and praised their work. Everyone’s looks lasted through the entire day and night (and in some cases until the next day too). Capelli + Trucco are worth the money. I found them to be very affordable compared to other quotes that I received and they did amazing work. They were also flexible with rescheduling (due to the pandemic) and honoring rates. I do want to mention that during my working with them, they had a switch in management during which communication halted for several weeks, but once Katy took over, communication went back to normal and I didn’t have any issues afterward.

in my ability to get in touch with the team after management changed at some point during the pandemic. Leading up to the wedding I asked to coordinate a schedule for the day for my bridesmaids and MOB and MOG and was given very loose instructions. I was shocked when more makeup artists arrived than I anticipated on the day of wedding which would have been great but the girls weren’t ready and then I was rallying my bridal party together to get their hair and makeup done. With detailed planning, the morning of my wedding would have been a lot less stressful but at the all said and done, I was very pleased with the end result!

veryone in my bridal party was happy with their hair and makeup for the big day. I was the bride and I am very natural when it comes to hair and makeup. They understood my vision and delivered the most amazing hair and make up look, that was natural but still glam for my wedding. It was truly what I always dreamed of looking like on my wedding day! My bridal party was big (14 people) so when we were running a little behind on makeup Katy instantly called someone to help and she arrived in minutes. They were on top of it and made the morning of my wedding a fun environment with their amazing staff. I highly recommend Capelli and Trucco. They are the best!!

r back from them till June. My wedding was in August. Per the contract I signed, my trial was suppose to be in May. In April I called them, no answer. I emailed them, no answer. I filled out the trial form, no answer. I facebook and instagram DM'd them, no answer. I showed up to their literal doorstep, no one was there, and I made it a point to go on a Tuesday AND thursday when they wouldn't be at a wedding, and still no answer. I wasn't until I called their parent company in Philadelphia that someone actually returned my calls. They explained that management was changing and they were in the process of setting up trials, to which I appreciated, but it was 2 months out from my wedding and I thought I would be doing my own hair and makeup because no other artists would be available on such short notice. I know they were experiencing some changes with COVID and I can't even imagine how hard it was for the wedding industry, but after contacting them off every platform and leaving messages everywhere, I thought the communication could have been handled better. But like I said, the hair and makeup artists were fantastic and I would hire them again but the communication I experienced is not something I would wish upon other brides because it was extremely stressful.

nced to choose this company had left. The pictures on the Instagram page and website were not reflective of the work the newly hired artists were creating. I can speak to this first hand because when I arrived to my bridal hair and make up trial I was given two completely random stylists and left looking 2 decades older than I am. I requested a natural look. The makeup artist used harsh eyeshadow colors I told her I didn’t like and had never used before. They used very low-end make up products on my face and I was left looking fake and caked on. My hair looked greasy. My fiancé looked horrified when he saw me. I had to scramble to find a new makeup/hair stylist one month before my wedding. I have tried to contact the manager on multiple accounts. I was assured they would contact me. It has been months and I have yet to hear anything or receive a refund. Absolutely horrific experience. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

the responsiveness was sub par. I would wait days and days for a response. Finally I scheduled a trial for June 30 (my trial should have been in May/June according to the contract). I initially reached out to them at the beginning of May. I showed up to my appt showed pictures of a low bun up do (very bridal, very simple) to the hair stylist and she proceeded to ask “should I curl your hair first?”. That seems like a question for the professional not for the client. Needless to say, I left with very low confidence and immediately started contacting other vendors. I secured another vendor after a fantastic trial and reached out to C&T to cancel my contract and request a refund of my deposit as if they had responded timely, I would have cancelled well within 90 days. C&T had not responded to my requests. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of them and I am incredibly upset and disappointed at how the entire situation was handled. STAY AWAY! There are plenty of other stylists that will do a much better job!

ocking off 1 star as some recent brides have alluded too, Jacqueline (the original owner) left and there were some hiccups trying to schedule a trial and just receiving a response in general. I hope things get ironed out over time as I really loved the look I had and hope others don't get dissuaded from booking!

I was told they were backed up because of a staff shake up and delayed weddings from 2021. They reassured me they were going to make everything work and I was asked to provide my trial availability. I responded the next day and it's been crickets ever since. No response, no trial confirmation, nothing. I've been reaching out repeatedly again and again trying to get my $300 deposit back and I'm now scrambling to book new hair/makeup for my wedding. Stay far away from this place.

sional. Unfortunately in February I got an email that Jacqueline was going her own way and the company was under new management. After a MONTH of reaching out (because they never contacted me to tell me about the changes) I finally get word that they are figuring things out but assured the quality was the same. I was sent a portfolio, that I now know is actually looks done by artists that left the company. It took about 2 more months to get in contact with them after the generic email that they were figuring things out. I finally get in contact and I had my trial on Tuesday. I left (after a $200 trial) got to my car and just cried. The makeup was nothing like what I asked, the artist was very standoffish and not listening to what I was asking. I will say that the only plus was Erin as she was very kind and did my hair. When I walked in they were very rude. I showed pictures and she basically just went off and did her own thing. My eyeshadow was so uneven, I felt as though I probably could do my makeup day of and be better off. My trial was 88 days from my wedding, I had no idea I would be having such difficulty and when I decided to cancel my services an hour after my trial I find out that it’s not working the 90 days of my wedding time frame (again it’s 88 days) and now I am not being answered by email and probably won’t get my $300 deposit back. I had faith in this company since they are a Cescaphe company, but Cescaphe has not answered a single phone call, email, or anything to provide any help. It is not cheap for bridal hair and makeup, so please look elsewhere and do Not believe their Instagram. A sod planning a wedding through a pandemic has not been hard enough, this situation has been the worst of my entire planning so far.
