My family and I attended a wedding at this event center this weekend. While the center was beautiful and 95% of the service people were lovely, a man at the bar, one of the owners,... acted very inappropriately. As my two daughters and I approached the bar, my daughter saw him write a label on a bottle that said “Liquid Leg Spreader”. He brought the bottle over and set it in front of us. We didn’t say anything just looked disgusted. He then proceeded to pour a drink from the bottle and slid it in front of my youngest daughter (22 years old). As a mother I was completely disgusted. I slid it back to him and said “No. That’s disgusting.” He just shrugged and walked away. When I spoke with him and his sister (also an owner) they were not that bothered by it. They said sorry but thought it wasn’t a big deal. We did not ask for a shot or engage with him in any way as we approached the bar. He did this all on his own. I wasn’t sure I should post this but then I thought as a woman and a mother I need to show my young daughters that women need to stand up to this behavior. It is unacceptable. It worries me that he did this to other guests at other times that wouldn’t push back.
