We loved our wedding cake from Capital City Cakes. The process of picking out samples and sharing our vision was very easy. Our cake turned out beautiful and our guests loved the flavors we chose (almond and lemon). We only had a few pieces left of our 5-layer cake at the end of the night!

Capital City Cakes was a great team for our wedding! They were able to make a beautiful tiered cake that had elements of both of our parents wedding cakes with a timeless finish. We got so many compliments!

e! They were familiar with my grandparents and not my fiance and I at the time, but they were so very warm and had such clear and amazing communication from beginning through the delivery! The tastings were great, and the final product was the same taste as the tastings; so that was appreciated. They adhered to the type that we were looking for and brought what I saved in Pinterest as inspos to life! They communicated what they needed in order to make the designs ahead of time and made recommendations for how much cake was necessary for the amount of guests attending, they coordinated with my florist vender to make the added live florals happen, the delivery was seemless and I didn't know it happened until I saw the cake be set out by the wedding planner we had (Which was great). My now husband and I along with our guests were very pleased and will continue buying cupcakes from them here on out!

City Cakes hosted an amazing tasting for my now husband and I to try their best sellers and any requested flavors. They provided so many wonderful options it was so hard to choose, and we discovered we didn’t have to! Capital City offers sheet cakes for an affordable add on prices, which allowed us to have multiple options for our guests. Everyone loved being able to choose different flavors at our reception. They were easy to work with, accommodated my cake coloring requests (a very deep peacock blue color) and they offer an anniversary cake on your first anniversary so you can have a fresh cake to celebrate a year later. Overall we had a 10/10 experience with Captial City Cakes and will definitely use their services again for future celebrations.

work! She made us even more excited than we already were to consider our cake for the big day and gave us several samples to take home with us as we made our final decision. 50 days out from our wedding day, I called Capital City Cakes and spoke with Sue about ordering some cupcakes for my fiancé that would match our wedding day as we counted down the days, and she made us beautiful cupcakes to match our future wedding cake at no charge! The week of the wedding, Sue called to be sure she had all of the correct details and timing, and on the day of the wedding, we were so delighted by the final results! The wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! Our guests, my husband and I are still enjoying leftovers! We would highly recommend Capital City Cakes to anyone and for any occasion!

VER know it. Stunning cake. We sent them a few photos just from Google searching a few “ideas” and off they went! We met them over a beer for tasting samples of cake and icing and couldn’t be more pleased with the variety of options they had and customization. We did this really good chocolate mixed with raspberry which I never would have thought of. The cherry on top was the day of. They brought the cake from grove city to downtown Columbus, delivered it and set up completely hassle free. We just had to specify where in our venue the cake would need to be and that was it. Huge load of stress off of us on our big day. I’m writing this after a year of reflection on our 1 year anniversary. They gave us a free, fresh cake topper (quite large for the two of us actually!) as an anniversary gift to us based off of what our cake was last year. Sweetest staff. Please use them for your wedding; for a local “small” business, they have this wedding thing down pat, you won’t be disappointed!
