HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Their food and customer service is amazing. We had them cater a wedding here at Pinehill Pavilion and we were blown away with everything.

I highly recommend Capital City Chefs to cater any event! The food was amazing! Usually wedding food is notoriously bad, but Jason knows what he is doing! They were great to work with and reasonably priced.

We hired Jason and Capital City Chefs for our wedding on 10/10/21. We had many tastings with other caterers but Jason's food was beyond all the rest. His NY steak and vegetable pasta was amazing!! He cooked the right amount of food and multiple people went up for seconds, which doesn't happen a lot at weddings. We cannot say enough good things about his food, communication, and service. All of our guests came up to and said that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The venue even stated how wonderful they were at picking up their trash and leaving the venue clean, as if a caterer wasn't even there. His staff took care of not only us, but every single guest. If i could rate him 10 out 5 stars I would!!!!! Thank you Jason for taking such good care of us on our special day!

My wife and I got married a few months back in November 2020 and Capital City Chefs catered our wedding reception. Due to Covid, we had to reschedule our wedding from July to November. Jason and Amy where very professional and understanding as they worked with us to reschedule. They went above and beyond to meet our ever changing menu requests and last minute changes to our guest head count due to unforeseen circumstances. Jason is an extremely talented chef. He worked with us to create customized meal options for our menu that were reflective of our backgrounds (Jamaican and Italian) and the types of food we like to eat. During the reception, our guest raved about how delicious their meals were and some even said it was the best wedding meal they have ever had! The staff was also very friendly and everyone felt that their needs were attended to during the reception. If you’re getting married or planning another event in the Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh area, hiring capital city chefs is a must for your catering needs. I cannot thank Jason and Amy enough for helping to make our wedding day so amazing! (I’m posting this review everywhere to spread the word about this amazing vendor.)

Jason and Amy are so incredible and willing to work with you to make your day incredible. Even through this pandemic, they were awesome and really made sure that our food vision was executed the way we wanted it. We got so many compliments on our food and desserts. They even allow the guests that could not stay due to Covid restrictions to take to go boxes of food. Our guests have asked for our vendor caterer information because they have not stopped talking about how good the food was at our wedding and the desserts were so good they want more.

Jason and his team went above and beyond for us on for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. We were able to pick the entire menu and he worked with us on everything we could do within our budget. They we're incredibly friendly and had such a positive attitude with us and our guests. I would highly recommend them!!

Jason and his crew were OUTSTANDING for our May 2019 wedding! Jason was there from the very beginning—meeting with us to do a complimentary taste test, being so responsive and helpful in providing endless menu options during the planning process, coming to our DIY “venue” (personal field) to scope out the area, providing suggestions when needed, and so much more. The food, the service, the bartenders, the servers, the chefs, the timely set up and clean up….words can’t describe how FANTASTIC everything was during the reception! We have received so many compliments from family, friends, and day-of vendors. The crew ensured my husband I received appetizers while waiting for introductions, brought us plates from the buffet so we could eat first, and made sure I had new drink when needed. Amy checked in with my mother-in-law throughout the reception to make sure that we had everything we needed. Capital City Chefs even helped move venue decorations from each site before AND after the wedding. You will not find better service, better people, better food, or better prices anywhere else! We seriously could not have asked for anything more. We highly recommend Capital City Chefs for your catering/bartending/event service needs as they were simply amazing in every aspect.

We recently had Capital City cater our wedding, and we were thrilled with how all the food and drinks turned out. Many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed it as well. Everything was delicious and creative, and Amy and Jason couldn't have been nicer to us or easier to work with to set up tastings and help us get everything exactly how we wanted it. The price and service were also fantastic, and we're so glad we decided to book Capital City for this special event!

Capital City Chefs provided the most delicious appetizers and taco bar for our daughter's wedding. We received so many compliments on how tasty the food was. The level of service was exceptional. The buffet tables were kept clean and continually filled with food and the servers bussed the tables regularly. The bride and groom were grateful for the thoughtful server that delivered a plate of food for them prior to post-wedding pictures.
