Located within the shadows of Montpelier’s Golden Dome, on Historic State Street lies the Capitol Plaza Hotel & Conference Center. Since 1994 Capitol Plaza Hotel & Conference Center has been offering award winning service and facilities to couples from all over the country. Our capital city of Montpelier is the perfect place for a destination wedding that blends small town, the open space of the Statehouse lawn and the full-service experience and elegance we love to offer. Recently voted the areas Best Hotel, Best Restaurant, & Best Sunday Brunch. We host weddings from 20 guests in our Ethan Allen room to up to 250 in the grandeur of our Governor’s Ballroom and our all-inclusive wedding packages make the planning process easy and enjoyable for all of our couples.

azed! We were always taken care of! I thought I would be nervous handing off my decorations for someone else to take care of. But the closer I got to our day, the more I appreciated that they were doing it. And everything was placed exactly the way I envisioned it. The wedding packeges are very convenient! We chose one that included our cake, toast, meal and more and it was absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal! We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before and all enjoyed a private amazing dinner together with family and friends. As if you weren't hooked already.. the bridal suite is a must! I stayed there the night before with my bridesmaids and we loved all it had to offer! Plenty of space for getting ready the next day! Overall I wish I could give the Plaza more then five stars because they more then exceeded my expectations! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wedding possible! Thank you Brian!!

estions promptly, had meetings whenever necessary, and kept us(me) on track with wedding planning. Everything was so easy! They provided me with checklists, called the vendors the week of the wedding, decorated and set-up the ballroom, delivered our gifts to our hotel room, poured us water before our glasses were empty, and every other thing you could think of. People raved about the food, and the Capitol Plaza worked with our budget for the bar. I highly recommend booking your wedding or other event at Capitol Plaza if you’re looking for an affordable but amazing option. Brian and his staff will take great care of you.

We didn't have to worry about anything, which was exactly we wanted! The price was excellent considering our cake and floral centerpieces were all included in the cost. I'd highly recommend the Capitol Plaza to anyone for any function -- the level of professionalism, experience, and helpfulness is top-notch!

The atmosphere was great, the food at the wedding was delicious (I am STILL getting compliments on it) and all of the suggested vendors were fantastic. Also, they did all of the set up and the clean up so that my husband and I, and our families, could focus on enjoying the day and celebrating and not have to stress or worry about anything. I would highly recommend the Capitol Plaza. It seems expensive, but when you take into account everything they provide, in addition to the peace of mind that comes along with knowing everything will be taken care of, it more than pays for itself!
