Capriccio Ensemble is a couple-friendly, boutique-style ensemble comprised of members who have been working together for many years. We provide Violin Soloists, Harp Soloist, Duos of Violin & Cello, Violin & Harp, a StringTrio, String Quartet and customizable ensembles of Harp or Flute & Strings. Our repertoire is elegant & diverse ranging from classical music, showtunes, movie themes, to light jazzy and contemporary songs. Please ask us for our most up-to-date repertoire lists containing 100s of classical selections and 300 + popular favorites. Fun fact, our String Trio performed at the wedding ceremony of Jerry Seinfeld! Here are the services we provide: 1. A service contract with your name, your event details and specifying the Soloist or Ensemble reserved: The contract will be emailed to you or mailed, upon your request. 2. Unlimited E-mail communications texts or phone calls to assist you in choosing the most perfect music for your special day. 3. A polished, experienced beautiful quality instrumental soloist or ensemble dressed formally in black concert attire or semi formally. Their beautiful music will be a cherished memory for many years to come. They perform continuously until cued to perform the 1st wedding Processional. The musicians are there fcr the duration of your wedding ceremony. At a 1 hour cocktail hour the musician(s) will perform music continuously for one hour. 4. Music preparation: we organize and assemble into books all of the music selections for your wedding ceremony or cocktail hour in advance of your special day. 4. New songs: Upon request and as per the package chosen from one of three: Silver - one new song/song arrangement is included, Gold -2 new songs/song arrangements, are included and Platinum - up to 5 new songs/song arrangements are included. 5. Travel: We perform at many locations and travel within a 250 mile range. No travel fee is charged for locations within 20 miles of our office, in Manhattan, in zip code 10033. For mileage farther than 20 miles one way, there is a travel fee per musician to cover our travel time, gas and tolls. 6. Amplification can be provided, for an additional charge, upon your request. Please ask when contacting us. 7. We are fully insured and can provide a COI ( certificate of insurance) to your venue if it is required.

My husband and I wanted to have some live music at our ceremony and cocktail hour because we were having a DJ for our reception. Natalie was great at first but leading up to the wedding she was very difficult to work with. She was sending us em...
ails constantly and gave us pushback when our venue told us that our vendors needed to be vaccinated at least two weeks prior to our event or show proof of vaccination, even though it was state law at the time of the request. At our ceremony, we had asked guests not to take any photos or videos during the ceremony. Natalie took it upon herself to take pictures of us during our ceremony. Very unprofessional. Then, our officiant forgot to say the line that was the queue for the Trio to start playing as we walked down the aisle but Natalie and the trio didn't pick up on it and so my husband and I had to start walking down the aisle in silence. Very disappointing experience overall.

We hope that you were pleased with the beautifiul music we performed at your wedding, which included all of your requests....
We received many compliments from family, guests, and the staff on our sound and the selections performed.
We did not "push back" regarding any covid requirements. I had asked a few questions of the Bride and then ultimately to the venue manager as when this matter arose in early March there were still many unknown factors and not all age groups were even eligible to receive a vaccine at that time. We always agreed fully to provide the necessary covid requirement documents which were
1. A vaccine card or 2. Proof of negative PCR test taken 72 hours prior to the event.
I received an email on May 26th 2021, four days before the wedding from Dan Flores that no test proof or display of vaccination proof was being required. Again we were completely on board with providing the needed proof if it had still been needed.
Regarding my taking photos we were set up in the very back of the room and their Pastor even with a microphone was very soft spoken so I never heard that imperative and I am not a guest. I always take a few photos of our beautiful brides and grooms at the ceremony from a distance and also took 2 photos of the Bride & Groom after we had completed the cocktail hour with their express permission.
Regarding our not performing the Recessional ASAP after not hearing "I now present for the first time Mr & Mrs Patnode", which was what Keriann & Pierre had written will conclude their ceremony via email,
unfortunately their Pastor never came to speak with us and I had asked him to please verify how he will conclude their ceremony. Our waiting a few more seconds out of respect for the instruction we had in our music and to not play loudly if the Pastor may speak again was, in the heat of the moment, a completely professional thing for us to do. We broke into their Recessional, "Signed Sealed Delivered" by Stevie Wonder when the Bride & Groom were a few feet from the front. We are sorry about this however we needed to be 100% certain that the Pastor would or would not speak further before playing the music.
Our Trio worked very hard at the wedding.
I replied to all of the emails sent to me politely, professionally and in a timely manner.
We drove in a torrential rainstorm from NYC to Queensbury, a trip taken in terrible weather of 220 miles.
I had kindly agreed to a last minute request from Keriann to provide a speaker, microphone + a mic stand for $0.00 surcharge for their Officiant when it was not in our Agreement to provide amplification other than to amplify ourselves as a Trio at the cocktail hour if that would be needed. I had arrived 2.5 hours early to set up amplification for their Pastor only to be told it was not going to be needed. I worked hard for Keriann & Pierre and state as a complete professional that their review is Very Disappointing to see after all of my and our hard work and efforts to give a beautiful quality musical presentation for their special day which was our focus.
We wish them every happiness and the best of luck always.
I thought the musicians were excellent and the music was so beautiful. I really enjoyed their rendition of Clocks by Coldplay, performed at the ceremony . I highly recommend them.

I hired the owner for a solo violin for my wedding on 6/29/19. While the music was beautiful, it was not an easy experience. The emails back and forth were endless and often unclear. While I initially provided her with the address of the event ...
and paid her a deposit, after that she wrote and asked for an additional fee because it was “10 minutes further than she thought”. After the ceremony, she had already been paid what was due to her and were not planning to tip her. She would lot leave without getting a tip. She hung around awkwardly staring at myself and my husband, waking around to my mother and coordinator asking for her $. Additionally, she distracted my videographer and other vendors to give business cards. It was a thoroughly disrespectful and awkward situation. I was disappointed to say the least.

There are a few false statements made in this review.
Firstly 2 different addresses were given. One, the initially given address was the town of Stone Ridge NY which according to Google maps was clo...
se to Exit 18 of the NY State Thruway . The 2nd address given later on was for an exit from the NY State Thruway for Kingston NY, Exit 19 and + another 10 miles once off the exit. This 2nd address given before an official contract was sent and aftter Rebecca went ahead and paid a deposit which we do not request receiving until our service contract is sent , received, read fully and signed as mutually agreed upon. Therefore it was an additional + 30 miles from what was originally given, not “ only 10 miles farther” as written in this review.
As per a comment made in the reviews about "soliciting". vendors always speak to each other and connect and are cordial and friendly while working together at weddings and events. This is an +. Our violinist didn’t “solicit “ anyone. Her performance area is much farther south in NYC , Long Island, Westchester, and northern NJ, and she is not regularly or rarely, in the Kingston area. The videographer asked for her card. She didn’t have proper cards with her that day and waited for him immediately following the ceremony as he had to go and take a video of toasts by the family of the bride and groom right away post-ceremony. The 🎻 waited to come up with a card to give him, however she was not looking for business there. She was asked for her card.

It’s a shame that you were not fully satisfied. Our violinist performed all of your requests, gave you a very reasonable price Including 100 miles x 2 of travel and we find this review to be, mainly false.

Throughout the months leading to our wedding, Natalie would invite us to events where she and the group would be performing (unfortunately we were never able to attend due to busy schedules). Payment was easy, as they accept quick-pay through banks. For our wedding we chose a mixture of pop songs and religious songs. The music was so beautiful, every song was easily identifiable. I would most definitely recommend Capriccio Ensemble if you want that nice classical touch of music, and if you want to work with great people.

My husband and I had a blast sampling all of the songs on Capriccio's user-friendly repertoire template that we used to choose our favorites. Each song we selected was truly special to us, and when I heard Natalie play them during the ceremony, it gave our ceremony that extra dream-like element.

As a bride there are so many things that you worry about from a project management standpoint, when I arrived at the church and heard how beautiful the ensemble was playing, I was so happy with my decision.
I had so many comments from guests regarding how well they played and how nice the music flowed from one song to the next.
I highly recommend booking with them and only wish I had another event that I could work with Natalie and her team on again.

The temperature stayed in the low fifties all day. I was worried because our ceremony was to be held outside. Natalie and ensemble were troopers and played for an hour outdoors! Natalie also wrote a custom arrangement of Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" for my ceremony entrance. Her rendition captured the emotions of the song and exactly what Tim and I were feeling at that moment. I would highly recommend Natalie and the Capriccio Ensemble to anyone looking for high quality live musicians!

She arrived promptly, set up and managed to provide a beautiful big sound while staying almost out of sight and not in our way. I had to have that song, I had to have them at my wedding to perform that song!! My mom and I went into overdrive and contacted them hoping that our request wasn't ridiculous, but to have them perform at my wedding would be the icing on my cake. Natalie and my mom were in contact and made it happen. It was perfect. I still watch my wedding DVD just to listen to that song.
