Making our clients feel at ease is also something we excel at. Our style combines documentary and cinematic approaches, as we capture both candid and some posed scenes. We want our story driven films to showcase very natural colors with high quality audio as well. From our cameras and lenses to our careful editing process, we care about all the details of your wedding film. Our wedding cinema packages are packed with quality and value. Each package includes two videographers to capture all the important parts of your wedding day. You will also receive the fully edited ceremony and reception events (introductions, speeches, formal dances, cake cutting, etc.). These videos are edited to show multiple camera angles and to provide fully mixed, high quality audio. Finally, you will receive a story-driven highlight film. Our cinematic highlight films are detailed and packed with the best moments from your wedding day. Our goal is to beautifully tell the story of your wedding as we capture all the emotions in our films. We are so happy with how our wedding videos turned out! Kirk and his second videographer paid attention to all the details and capture the moments that were so important to us. I love having the highlight video as well as the ceremony, first look and big moments in the reception.

Of note, we did not end up working with Kirk but I felt it would be very helpful to share why! We reached out with only 6 days notice and Kirk was prompt and helpful in his response! He made time to have a personal call with me less than 24 hours after I contacted him to discuss the plans for the day. I was so impressed in this call that he willingly admitted to me that he didn't think he was the right fit for filming our wedding celebration. He repeatedly emphasized how important it is to him that he provides the best possible product to commemorate this incredibly special day. I really admire a vendor who prioritizes the quality of their work over just earning a paycheck. Ultimately, we hired another videographer and ended up with exactly what we had hoped for. But it's important to recognize that a big reason for that is because Kirk was honest with us and maintains massive integrity regarding the quality of the work he does.

We can’t say enough amazing things about Kirk and our highlight film! Kirk is organized, professional and great with communication. Kirk and his second videographer Harrison made us feel so comfortable all day long and captured everything so beautifully. We can’t watch our film without getting so emotional because it was done so perfectly. We highly recommend hiring Kirk as your wedding videographer!

My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about Capstone Cinema! Kirk was our videographer for our wedding last year, and he was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I appreciated his timely email communication, how organized he was, and how comfortable he made us feel in front of the camera! Not to mention how blown away we were when we received our highlight film. I was initially skeptical about hiring a videographer and questioned whether it was a necessary expense, but I have to say that it was absolutely worth every penny. Kirk perfectly captured the essence of our wedding day with beautiful footage! We have received so many compliments from friends and family who've seen our highlight film. I can’t even begin to explain how happy my husband and I are with our wedding day footage. Kirk and Leah have a creative eye that can’t be beat. Our highlight video perfectly captured our day, and we loved every second of footage! It was also amazing to have raw footage as well. When we were planning our wedding, we were debating about whether or not we even wanted a videographer, but now I can easily say it was the best decision we made regarding our wedding. I highly recommend Capstone Cinema! Kirk was incredibly professional and kind. He did a great job paying attention to all of the small details when creating our video and I could not be happier with the final result. He worked with us to get an understanding of what we were looking for and to ensure he captured everything. Kirk was very easy to work with and even went out of his way to hand deliver the flash drive to my front door. I recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a videographer!

Kirk and Leah were awesome to work with! We were beyond thrilled to watch the final video that they made us! They captured every moment so wonderfully! They also gave us some raw footage of our ceremony and of our dances/speeches! Kirk was super easy to communicate with and he created our video very quickly after the wedding! I would definitely recommend using them!

Kirk and his wife were absolutely wonderful to work with and did an incredible job capturing our wedding day. Both were super professional, prompt, and very easy to work with. We had a large wedding party and a few things changed last minute due to Covid but that changed nothing regarding the quality of our video. Shortly after the wedding, Kirk sent us a “teaser” wedding video which surpassed all expectations. Not long after that , we got the full wedding video and full ceremony and my husband and I were both moved to tears and left speechless. In 8 minutes, Kirk and Leah were able to illustrate our day beautifully and this is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Clear Sky Video did an amazing job on our wedding video. We wanted it to look like a cinematic movie production and that is exactly what we got! We received a 2-minute teaser video as well as a 17-minute highlight video. The teaser video included our pastor's voice. It sounds so crisp and clear, we felt as though we were back standing at the altar. They selected music to go along with the video which was absolutely perfect. It brought tears to our eyes the moment we started watching it, not to mention anyone else who watches it. Every time we watch it, we feel as though we get to relive it all over again, only not so nervous this time!! If you are the bride or groom reading this, I highly recommend getting a wedding video. The day of your wedding is such a whirlwind, you miss a lot of things happening at your wedding. By having a video, you get to see everything that happened. It's just incredible. Clear sky video was such a good choice for my husband and I. They made everything so easy from start to finish. They came out to our venue the day before our wedding to scope everything out and get a feel for everything before the big day. We really appreciated that! When our wedding was over they gave us our customized video and I especially loved the cute cover they made for the outer case of the blu ray! I’m so happy we chose clear sky video for our wedding day they made everything go so smoothly. Book with them you won’t be disappointed!!

We recently received our wedding video from Kirk and Leah (which includes the highlight video, full ceremony and full reception events). We are IN LOVE!! We've watched all the videos numerous times, they captured everything beautifully! Kirk was really easy to get a hold of with any questions/concerns before the big day. They also came to the venue during our rehearsal to check out out the venue and find the best camera angles. I'm glad they did, because right before the ceremony (which was supposed to be outside) it decided to downpour, and we had to move everything in last minute. You would have no idea that was the case with the quality of the video, and nothing was missed! I would highly recommend Kirk and Leah to anyone looking for a videographer for their special event. We will cherish these videos for the rest of our lives!

We initially had not planned on having videography for our June 2018 wedding. After some encouragement from our parents (and seeing their work at our friends’ wedding) we booked with Kirk and Leah with Clear Sky Video, and I am SO glad we did! We cannot thank them enough for capturing our day perfectly. The highlight film (and ceremony/reception footage) is absolutely beautiful. We are now able to relive our wedding day whenever we want! The attention to detail and multiple cameras allows us to feel the raw emotion and love from the day all over again. Kirk was quick to respond with wedding plans prior to the big day and even came to the church for rehearsal to check lighting/camera. They were so accommodating to our chaotic wedding day schedule. Kirk and Leah were wonderful to work with! Kirk was diligent in being prepared and making sure we got the video footage we wanted. He met with us at our venue a couple of weeks before the wedding and also came to our rehearsal to get a better idea of the setting and how the day would go. Kirk and Leah both made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The result is beautiful footage that perfectly captures the story of our wedding day!

If you are looking for a wedding videographer, then you need to look no further. Clear Sky Video is the best out there!!! Our wedding video was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, we wanted to be able to remember this day forever. Let me tell you, I could not have dreamed of a better Video!! It was perfect in every way. The highlights were amazing, and so was the video of the ceremony and reception. I laughed, I cried, it was like I was reliving that day over again ( without the stress). Not only was Kirk and his wife beyond nice, they had no problem working around our crazy wedding schedule. Our wedding day started at 10 in the morning and went on until 1 AM the next day, and they were so accommodating. We got married in a Catholic church and I was worried that any videographer we got would have trouble with all of the rules that my church makes them follow. Not a problem for Clear Sky Video! They were very flexible and VERY professional, yet still knew how to have fun! Both my husband and I ( and all of our parents who got a copy of the video) are so happy that we found Clear Sky Video. If you are not sure who you want to capture the most important day of your life, then go with Clear Sky Video. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Kirk and Leah were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were very detailed and captured every moment of our perfect day. They even showed up to the rehearsal to check the lighting and showed up early the day of the wedding to drive around the site where we had our wedding to capture the outside and parts around our venue. Both Leah and Kirk were extremely accommodating and knew exactly what they were doing. When we got our video on Christmas morning we watched it over and over and each time it brought back the most perfect day! He provided us with DVDs, USB, BlueRay, and a website of our highlight video. We would highly recommend Clear Sky Video!

Leah and Kirk were the absolute best to work with! Kirk was great with communication and really listened to everything we wanted. They did such an amazing job capturing the best day of our lives. Our video was better than we ever could have imagined! It made us smile, laugh, cry and we couldn’t be happier. We could tell that they really wanted to make our wedding video perfect. The video we received was even better than we had imagined. We watched it over and over again. We were blown away by just the highlight video and then watched the full videos and were speechless! They did such an awesome job of capturing all the special moments of the day and the audio was awesome! Kirk and Leah are both very nice and personable! Clear Sky Video was a perfect addition to our wedding memories. I wanted someone to capture the day in a way photography can’t. Kirk and Leah are incredibly nice, easy to work with and care a lot. My dad even saw Kirk at our venue the morning of our wedding evaluating the site. The video turned out beautifully. They perfectly captured audio from the ceremony and reception speeches to make this one of the best wedding decisions we made. Clear Sky Video produced an amazing quality for a very reasonable price that didn’t break our wedding budget. I highly recommend the additional hours to capture those precious moments while getting ready.

The viewpoint, the editing, the music... it was perfect. He has an amazing eye, good attention to detail and a wonderful talent for editing in a way that lets you re-live those unforgettable moments and instances you may have not witnessed in person. We had our wedding in November 2014. Kirk is a professional and skillful videographer. He cooperated really well with our photographer and helped us figure out what type of video package we wanted. We were very happy with the video of our wedding, which recorded the entire day. Kirk added a separate highlight video with the major moments blended in a creative way. He gave us a dvd copy and a digital copy we could download. We are more than satisfied with the service we received.

We were late booking a videographer and had some difficulty finding someone. We lucked into finding Clear Sky Video available for our date. The quality of the video is top-notch. The bride & groom were consulted ahead of time to ensure everything important to them was included. However, when the wedding day came we hardly noticed him ..... and then a few weeks later we got the video. It is a well-done, beautiful reminder of one of our favorite days. Of all our vendors, Kirk was the least needy and the most thoughtful and respectful of the wishes of the bride.

Kirk Dapo earned his BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design where he studied film and video production. His specialty is in cinematography, and he has a keen eye for detail. He captures beautiful images and loves to tell stories through film. Kirk's goal is to create a beautifully crafted wedding story that you will love! Leah Dapo earned her MA in Clinical Counseling from the Ashland Theological Seminary. Her relatable nature makes people feel at ease in front of the camera. As a cinematographer, she has an eye for capturing the emotions and details that bring stories to life.
