Kirk’s attention to detail while recording our wedding was outstanding. Kirk took the initiative to come to our rehearsal to be sure all of his equipment was working properly at the church. Kirk knew when to be in the background and when to interact with us without being asked. He was kind to us and worked seamlessly with our photographer. The two of them contributed to our vision and helped us stay organized during the gap before the reception. The wedding video came out even better than we would ever expect. We received a full wedding video, full edited reception, and a highlight film. Watching the videos transported us right back to our wedding in the best way and were blended beautifully. Nearly every family member cried watching these videos! Fantastic videos, and they worked to our vision perfectly. We would never pick another videographer team!
I don't even know where to begin with this review. If I could give 100 stars, I would. I found Capstone Cinema through a quite random recommendation from a coworker, and I am so glad that I did. Kirk and Leah did a fantastic job capturing our wedding day as a whole, with focus on the most important, special moments and emotions. The day itself can be quite a blur with how quickly things move and how much adrenaline there is, but I am forever grateful that I have this wedding video to watch back and to jog my memory.
In addition to the amazing video and footage itself, I could not say enough positive things about Kirk and Leah. From the very beginning, Kirk was responsive, organized, friendly, caring, and showed exceptional creative skill. He helped me navigate our timeline with regard to the shots he knew would be needed in the video. He was honest about the amount of time some shots would take, and this helped so much with planning. He went above and beyond by showing up to our rehearsal to look become familiar with our venue before the wedding day and to introduce himself to us. I felt like I could fully trust that Kirk and Leah would do a great job, and they absolutely did! I would recommend Capstone Cinema to anyone who is looking for a videographer that *genuinely* cares about capturing your wedding day perfectly because they will.

Working as a husband and wife team, we are highly detailed and organized. Making our clients feel at ease is also something we excel at. Our style combines documentary and cinematic approaches, as we capture both candid and some posed scenes. We want our story driven films to showcase very natural colors with high quality audio as well. From our cameras and lenses to our careful editing process, we care about all the details of your wedding film.
Our wedding cinema packages are packed with quality and value. Each package includes two videographers to capture all the important parts of your wedding day. You will also receive the fully edited ceremony and reception events (introductions, speeches, formal dances, cake cutting, etc.). These videos are edited to show multiple camera angles and to provide fully mixed, high quality audio. Finally, you will receive a story-driven highlight film. Our cinematic highlight films are detailed and packed with the best moments from your wedding day. Our goal is to beautifully tell the story of your wedding as we capture all the emotions in our films. We care about providing the best possible highlight film for you to enjoy and to share with friends and family.

Kirk and Leah Dapo
Owner
Kirk Dapo earned his BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design where he studied film and video production. His specialty is in cinematography, and he has a keen eye for detail. He captures beautiful images and loves to tell stories through film. Kirk's goal is to create a beautifully crafted wedding story that you will love!
Leah Dapo earned her MA in Clinical Counseling from the Ashland Theological Seminary. Her relatable nature makes people feel at ease in front of the camera. As a cinematographer, she has an eye for capturing the emotions and details that bring stories to life.
