If anything did come up, I was completely unaware, which is exactly what I wanted.  My mom was very involved in the planning, so Tia had to handle a lot of thoughts, questions, and ideas coming her way. Months before our wedding, we met at our venue, and she provided invaluable advice on the timing of the day—even down to where the sun would be at different times to ensure our guests’ comfort and the best lighting for photos. On the wedding day, their coordination was impeccable. Even though we had a set timeline, rain unexpectedly appeared in the forecast. Tia immediately adjusted our schedule, moved the ceremony up by 30 minutes, and got guests seated without a hitch. Meanwhile, her team discreetly relocated our outdoor bar to a sheltered area, transforming it into a cozy cocktail space. They handled so many details behind the scenes—many of which I probably don’t even know about—so that we never had to worry. One moment I’ll never forget: I spilled red wine down the front of my white wedding dress (every bride’s nightmare!). Before I could even process what happened, Tia appeared with a stain remover and, within seconds, had it blotted away like magic. If you're debating whether or not to hire a wedding coordinator, trust me—you absolutely need this one. Even with a small guest list (ours was only 50 people), there are countless details that need managing. Having Tia and her team meant we could be fully present, soaking in every moment, knowing they had everything under control. From the very first consultation, Tia took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in ways we never imagined possible. She anticipated every need and concern before we even had a chance to think of it. She was always working behind the scenes, keeping us updated and lines of communication open. She took care of absolutely everything during the months of planning process from reaching out to vendors to things like vendor/day of insurance etc. Our wedding day was completely stress free - if there were any hiccups we didn’t know about it. Tia even guarded our sweetheart table while we ate dinner. Getting to pause and have that time together without an interruption was so meaningful and it wouldn’t have happened without Tia and the Capstone team. After months of planning separate pieces I was blown away by how her team brought everything together, I truly couldn’t even have dreamed up what they did. We had a blast on our wedding day because the only thing we had to focus on was that. I cannot recommend Capstone Occasions enough!

r perfect day. Tia was always responsive and helped me navigate the tumultuous process that wedding planning can be! She has curated an excellent list of preferred vendors that she has worked with and most of the other vendors I used were recommended by Tia and they were all excellent. When I booked other vendors they all asked if I was working with a coordinator and when I said "Tia with Capstone" they all said "you are in excellent hands, I love her!" Tia made sure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. I cannot recommended her and her team enough. I told her I wanted church pews in the woods and she found me church pews. I told her I needed 2 teams of horses and she found me 2 teams of horses. If you're not sure if you need a wedding coordinator, you do! If you're not sure who to hire, hire Tia!

Tia jumped in and helped me get excited about the process again and accomplish the tasks in order of importance and made sure it was a day that both Mike (my now husband) and I envisioned and wanted to make it special for us. Because of her experience she has so many friends in the business. I appreciated she recommended vendors based on who the two of us are and what we were looking for and within our budget (and ways to save). She thinks about EVERYTHING! Things we never would have considered on our own. My favorite being the sunset photos of me and my husband. He doesn’t like pictures but he loved how they turned out. Not only that, she makes sure it’s a seamless process and day that’s stress free. My mom was so grateful to be able to let loose and relax and could not say enough about how instrumental Tia and her team were to make the day so beautiful and coordinating with all the vendors so we didn’t have to. Day before the wedding, I was honestly a mess and left our name tags at my office and a few other prints including labels and a mock up picture of what we were thinking. So, we had to last minute hand write the name tags and in a rush left unorganized and unlabeled bins for them to sort out. My brain was all over the place and it didn’t occur to me until too late but when we walked in, it was even better than I imagined. They really went the extra mile and made everything picture perfect. Our friends and family were so impressed and we’re still getting compliments to this day. Thank you Tia and the Capstone Occassions team! You are fun to work with, easy to get along with (even some of our craziest family members), hardworking, magician ninjas (for all the stuff you do behind the scenes we will never even know about- thank you). We are forever grateful for the best and happiest day of our lives!

olute BEST decision we made!! Tia is absolutely incredible, and I would have been 100000x more stressed the week of my wedding and the day of my wedding if she was not there. Tia is so organized and has such an eye for making things beautiful. We met with Tia periodically for months leading up to my wedding, and she completely understood my vision and what I wanted for the day. She helped us put together the timeline, worked with my vendors and met with them so everyone was on the same page, and did the set up for our ceremony and reception space which was a HUGE relief. I trusted Tia completely, and I am so happy we did because everything turned out so beautiful! Tia was always there to answer my questions and give recommendations, and I am just so grateful to her for all she did for us. It was super helpful having an itemized to-dos list broken out by months away from the wedding. The online portal also provided additional tools such as seating chart design, guest list management and vendor information, which made the process even smoother. We discussed any inquiries we had, addressed challenges and issues we were encountering, and really covered everything else in between. Her proactive and supportive approach truly made a difference! On the day of the wedding, Tia went above and beyond to handle every detail. She ensured that the vendors arrived on time and that their setups proceeded seamlessly, arranged all of our decorations, made sure our schedule was on-time, packed up all our decor/items after the wedding and placed them securely in my husband's car. She even went the extra mile of driving his car from the venue back to our hotel so we would not have to worry about getting it the next morning. Tia's commitment to ensuring a flawless experience did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for her outstanding assistance.

The week before a wedding is high with emotions but now the bride will not have her sister by her side on one of the biggest days of her life. Tia was there through all the tears and supported our entire family. She was our “sense” when we had none. We scrambled for ideas to make them a part of it virtually and Tia didn’t hesitate to do what needed to be done getting technology set up, last minute changes but most importantly the emotional support we all needed. We are eternally grateful that she was a part of this day and will be our wedding planner for any future weddings. I would highly recommend her no matter how big or small a wedding as she works with each couple to meet their needs not only from planning perspective but more importantly from a cost perspective.

Tia!!! We met Tia at DC Estates Winery when checking out venues and found out she was included in the package. We had no idea on how to plan a wedding and we both have fast pace careers that limited our time. Tia was the absolute best thing to have ever happened to us. Our first meeting left us amazed as she genuinely wanted to get to know us and find out what’s important to us. From there she kept us on track with goals and timelines, kept the process fun and stress level extremely low. During one of our meetings, I told her how concerned I was I would be so busy that I would take time to eat during the day, and once our ceremony was over Tia came over to us with a platter of appetizers for my husband and I, and as our bridal party stared patiently at the food, Tia said, “Not until the bride and groom eat!” LOL It was so funny, but in all seriousness, she listened attentively to my simple concern, and she made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Such a small detail that I will rave about for ever. We 100% booked our venue BECAUSE of Tia. When asked why we chose the venue by family and friends, we simply said- “Tia.” She is so detail oriented, and every meeting is genuine because she wants to get to know you and your partner as a couple – not just a contract. You can tell she absolutely puts her heart and soul into her work and into taking care of each couple, individually for what they want and hope their day to be. A “thank you” will never be enough to tell her how we feel for how she made our special day… the PERFECT day. Every other vendor that we worked with had nothing but amazing things to say about Tia, which we already knew, but it says so much that Tia truly loves her job and the wedding industry, and makes an impact on everyone she works with. Tia was a godsend in helping us postpone our wedding due to Covid and we are grateful every day that we had an amazing coordinator and venue that made such a hard decision easier to navigate.
