My husbands and I’s wedding was the most magical day and I say this with our families and close friends in mind, I think everyone who attended our wedding it was the most magical day for them as well, all because of The Captain’s house inn! Not only were we coming from out of state, but we had family come over from Europe and the Captain’s House was always readily available and offered the most help with any questions or concerns.
They helped with the wedding so much that must of us just had to bring our luggage and attended! Including me, and I was the bride! Everything was so effortless and very well detailed.
They even have their own suggestions with photographers and justice of the peace, anything wedding related Captain’s has your back!
My husband and I were looking forward to getting married on the beach (weather didn’t permit) so they set up the most charming scene in the main house dining room which was just as charming and just as special! The rain coming down and the background of the garden, the slow instrumental music that was playing and the bridal suite that my husband and I stayed in was such a whisper of elegance.
The food was perfect! Anything and everything about my wedding at the Captain's was perfect, simple, charming, and tasteful without over doing it. They nailed the head on the coffin with the charm.
Before the wedding my family and man of honor did the brides high tea in the dining room and it was such a lovely experience.
The chefs at Captain’s prepared a wonderful spread of finger sandwich’s and treats, as well as cheeses and jams. Also, who can forget the variety of teas they offered! Everyone got their own teapot with their selection. We all felt very well taken care of.
I never once felt rushed, the captains house made sure to keep everything relaxed and flowing. I highly recommend anyone’s wedding at the CHI!
After the wedding we went out to the front lawn and had a champagne toast, it was so intimate and just exactly what I was looking and hoping for, for a true Cape Cod wedding!
The estate of Captain’s is wonderful to walk around, the backdrop of the high pines and spruces are a dream!
Thank you so much Captain’s! All of us in the wedding and attending appreciate your services, your efforts did not go un noticed during and after. All staff reading this, you have made not just mine and my husband’s day once again magical but everyone else’s involved! I even think the wedding officiant was blown away!
