We want to adopt Ruth lol. She is amazing, she instantly felt like a friend and made both my husband and I feel so completely relaxed. Not to mention her incredible talent! We have only seen the sneak peeks so far but they are incredible, we are beside ourselves anticipating the receipt of the rest of the shots. I cannot say enough about Ruth- hire her, and you will not be disappointed!

I didn’t know where to start when planning my wedding, but choosing to work with Ruth was one of the best decisions!! She was professional and yet down to earth. She made getting pictures done in SC summer heat a breeze . I loved that she was able to capture our day! 10/10 recommend.

The best experience ever! Not only were our pictures perfect but we had the pleasure of getting to meet Alex and Ruth who are amazing people that make you feel so comfortable and at ease on your big day. Even our guest are still talking about how kind and great Alex was! We got our pictures back very quickly and we couldn’t be happier, they are beautiful and just what we wanted! The whole experience from start to finish has been nothing but wonderful!

Ruth went above and beyond! I relied on her to help me stay on our timeline and capture everything I ever dreamed of! Her and her husband both speak Spanish and they helped Bridge the gap between our families. Your going to have your photographer hang out with you all day on your wedding day so get you a hard working friend like Ruth! We loved having you guys! Thank you sooo much again.

The best in Greenville! Ruth was absolutely amazing! I was new in town and she made me feel at ease with our quaint, small wedding. She responded to all my questions promptly. I didn’t need to worry about anything. She knew the venue and knew which shots would look great. The photos were sent to me quick and they were beautiful. She captured the day perfectly. I would recommend to everyone I know.

I cannot HIGHLY recommend Ruth enough!! She did our wedding on July 3rd and we not only received highlight pictures on the July 8th, but she ALREADY sent us our entire album on Friday 7/22. Her work speaks for itself! We’ve gotten so many compliments on how beautiful they are. 10/10 ✨

I absolutely LOVED everything about my experience with Ruth and her husband. Ruth communicated very well with us leading up to & on our wedding day, so there was no confusion or concerns about anything we wanted photos of. All of our pictures turned out so beautiful. There was only one thing that I’d wished we’d gotten a professional photo of (the floral wreath/decoration that was in my mother’s seat - she passed away last year) but one of our family members got a picture of it, and considering the hundreds of fantastic pictures we received, I really can’t be upset about one thing. When working with these two, I could tell that they have a real passion for what they’re doing, and it definitely shows in the quality of the photos we received. The turn around time was surprisingly fast, so I didn’t even have to wait long to see all of our pictures! Even still, Ruth does a little “sneak peak” before all of the pictures are finished so you’re not waiting long before you get to see some of the pictures from your special day! I really can’t recommend Captivated Joy Photography enough. Ruth’s prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of her work :)

Working with Ruth was an awesome experience. She made the process very easy for me. Firstly, the prices for the product were AMAZING. She’s extremely talented- as you can tell by looking at her work. Secondly, all I had to do was sign my contract and fill out a questionnaire and that was it. One less thing for me to stress about in regards to the wedding. I needed to make a change to something I wanted done at the wedding because of a death in the family and she was very accommodating to that. I was actually late to my own wedding because my matron of honor got car sick on the way there and I had no service to notify Ruth, she came in clutch and got pictures of the sunrise I was missing and got some photos of the groom before the wedding for me, without me having to ask! My guests were hard to get in order for pictures because they all wanted to talk but Ruth was able to gather them all calmly and get beautiful pictures of everyone. She is super sweet and made our portraits so fun to take. She got our pictures back to us in a timely manner and abided to her deadline she included in the contract. Our wedding pictures are beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us capture our perfect day

She is very knowledgeable about her work and knew how to work with us as a shy couple who barely had an idea of what to do for engagement and wedding pictures.
