Shane shot our wedding and reception and did such an incredible job with getting the photos taken, his creativity, and returning out of this world photos to us. Shane provided an incredible service that was within our budget and we didn't feel like we sacrificed a thing. As a long-distance couple getting married in a place neither of us lived, we needed someone who was good with communication, open to ideas, and able to give creative ideas and suggestions...all without meeting in-person prior to the big day. Shane did all of that and more. He took the time to gather great shots before, during, and after our ceremony, and he was such a great presence throughout it all! He was calm, helpful, and so much fun. Several guests approached us during or after our wedding day to let us know how great Shane was! He was willing to work with us on ideas and suggestions for our video, while also providing insight from his experience...and the final product came out great. We couldn't recommend Shane and Captive Visuals more. Thanks for helping make our day so great and making something we can look back on happily in the years ahead!

On the day of the wedding I was very busy and a nervous wreck. I so appreciated Shane's professionalism and calm demeanor as he guided us through our day. He showed up ahead of schedule on the morning of, got all of his equipment organized, and then went about shooting all of the detail shots while we finished getting ready. He was very focused on getting the shots we needed, setting up the room and lighting and adjusting if he didn’t like it, and assisting with posing. This continued and only got better as the day went on. He was creative with each of the locations and really made us have a great time during picture taking. I could continue to rave about what a great job he did, but after the wedding we continued to talk about how grateful we were to have him as our photographer! He was so creative, attentive to all of the little details, directive when needed, and allowed us to have such a great time! And now looking at all of the photos, we LOVE THEM! PERFECT!
