Shane captured our wedding day perfectly. Not only was the finished product incredible, but Shane has the most calming, joyful presence and we genuinely loved having him with us throughout the day. Shane / Captive Visuals was amazing. I’m camera shy and was apprehensive about the photos. But he put me at ease and got great photos throughout the day. He was very attentive to detail, framing, and lighting, and we could not be happier with our portfolio! Shane was also very courteous and professional. Even our guests commented on how kind and helpful he was during the reception. I highly recommend Shane!

Shane was a true professional! Throughout our wedding day, Shane went out of his way to make our wedding day as smooth as possible. His photos came out amazing and really captured our day, his expertise was undeniable and his personality was calming and he was more of a friend than a hired photographer!

Amazing! The absolute best thing we did for our wedding was getting Captive Visuals to help tell our story. Shane is incredible.. He brings a kindness that makes all guests feel comfortable and a level of experience and expertise that calmed all of us. The pictures and video we received from our celebration were beyond anything we expected. He absolutely crushed it. We have so many favorites from that day because he clearly knew how to capture the story. It was easily the best day of our life and a huge huge part of that was deciding to work with Shane.

We can’t recommend Shane with Captive Visuals enough! He is one of the most talented photographers I have ever seen. He is so dedicated to his work and truly going above and beyond in every way. Not only is Shane amazing at his job, but he is also such a kind and warm human. Shane shot our wedding and reception and did such an incredible job with getting the photos taken, his creativity, and returning out of this world photos to us. He also helped me (the bride) with a special project of making a video of me playing the piano as a surprise to my husband during our first dance. If you're looking for an incredible wedding videographer, you've come to the right place. Shane was an absolute pleasure to work with. We knew we wanted a videographer, but we weren't sure if we would pursue one since options we saw online would've pushed us over our budget. Shane provided an incredible service that was within our budget and we didn't feel like we sacrificed a thing. As a long-distance couple getting married in a place neither of us lived, we needed someone who was good with communication, open to ideas, and able to give creative ideas and suggestions...all without meeting in-person prior to the big day. Shane did all of that and more. He took the time to gather great shots before, during, and after our ceremony, and he was such a great presence throughout it all! He was calm, helpful, and so much fun. Several guests approached us during or after our wedding day to let us know how great Shane was! He was willing to work with us on ideas and suggestions for our video, while also providing insight from his experience...and the final product came out great. We couldn't recommend Shane and Captive Visuals more. Thanks for helping make our day so great and making something we can look back on happily in the years ahead!

Words do not express how grateful we are that Shane was by our side on our wedding day! We initially were not going to do a video; however, I changed my mind at the very last minute and to this day, I still believe we won the lottery with Shane!!! 🥰 Shane was so professional, genuine, and has a heart of gold. There is one word that comes to mind when we think back on our experience with Shane. Perfection! My wife and I had our wedding in California. We knew we were asking a lot of him with photography and videography. We knew he had a busy schedule and was coming from the opposite side of the country. He guaranteed he would be there on-time, and that our photos and video would look amazing. Shane 100% delivered! He was so easy to work with and communicated clearly with us. We had the opportunity to see a few photos too. WOW! If our preview photos were that good, we can't wait to see what they all will look like. We believe he captured our emotions from that day and who we are as a couple and family in his photos. We could not have asked for a better person to handle such an important part of our wedding day. We are so thankful for Shane.

Shane was INCREDIBLE. So easy to work with & flexible with all the twists & turns of our engagement shoot & wedding day. Our photos turned out absolutely fabulous. As much as I hate taking photos, Shane made it comfortable & quick so we could enjoy spending time with our guests! I also did not notice him at all during the ceremony, but he had to have been all over the place with the amazing angles everything was captured in. Truly an awesome person to work with! Shane photographed my wedding in May 2022 and he did a fabulous job. Shane is friendly and easy to work with. Once he accepted the task of being our photographer he reached out to us immediately. Shane did a conference call with me and my fiance to discuss our wedding plans. He communicated with us throughout the coming months to confirm our plans. On the day of the wedding I was very busy and a nervous wreck. I so appreciated Shane's professionalism and calm demeanor as he guided us through our day. Shane is such a sweet and gentle man he even helped me and my sister with her dresses. Shane captured everything we asked for. We were very pleased with our wedding photos and video, they were clear and vivid. I would definitely use his services again.

One of the single best decisions we made for our wedding day was hiring Shane. I’m not just saying that… Shane was truly incredible. Not only did he capture the spirit of our wedding and our love perfectly, but he was an absolute joy to have around. His timing was impeccable, and the ease with which he photographed our large family in such a small amount of time was amazing. He went above and beyond to be there, get the shots and made all of our family and friends love him. Our families still talk about him! We could not have asked for a better photographer and are grateful to now call him a friend. The photography and videography we received was exceptional. It was exactly what I envisioned. SHANE! Phenomenal! We truly could not have asked for a better photographer. Leading up to the wedding, he was very organized and on top of all of the details for the day, reaching out to me several times the week of to make sure he had everything down! He showed up ahead of schedule on the morning of, got all of his equipment organized, and then went about shooting all of the detail shots while we finished getting ready. He was very focused on getting the shots we needed, setting up the room and lighting and adjusting if he didn’t like it, and assisting with posing. This continued and only got better as the day went on. He was creative with each of the locations and really made us have a great time during picture taking. I could continue to rave about what a great job he did, but after the wedding we continued to talk about how grateful we were to have him as our photographer! He was so creative, attentive to all of the little details, directive when needed, and allowed us to have such a great time! And now looking at all of the photos, we LOVE THEM! PERFECT!

Shane was such an important part of our big day. He has the best personality, gave great direction, and paid attention to every little detail. We weren’t sure if we wanted a wedding video in the beginning and I’m so thankful that we changed our minds. Our video was truly amazing and I can’t thank Shane enough for perfectly capturing our special day.

Shane was so wonderful! He came with extra things that I wasn't expecting/didn't think of. He was so calm and gave easy directions. We had the best experience with Shane! Captive visuals captured our engagement session and our wedding and it was amazing! We absolutely loved how everything turned out! Shane was incredibly kind and did a great job videoing and editing my wedding video. He caught a lot of great moments throughout the day. From that morning while we were getting ready to that night when there were few people left dancing. He was also very likable and even made conversation with my group when he had some down time. If there was one thing we did in right in wedding planning it was hiring Shane as our photographer! He was prompt with a response any time I had questions (even listened to me vent about how stressed I was from time to time). The best photographer! Shane was so fun to work with and kept us totally relaxed on our wedding day. We loved getting to meet him prior to our wedding for our engagement photos too! He was so kind to let us bring our dog with us. He did all the wedding photos I asked for and included so many other fun ones I didn’t even think about. My husband blinks in photos all the time and we told Shane that ahead of time. He worked some magic and I have hundreds of photos with my husbands eyes open. 🤩 We are in love with our photos! 🤍 Shane is so wonderful and I cannot recommended him enough!
