Based out of Colchester, VT, Captured by Carina is a photography outfit that services weddings and other special events. Founder and freelance photographer Carina Alden is a self-taught and passionate professional with an eye for beautiful moments. Carina strives to be obliging and to provide an enjoyable experience for the photography of your special day.
Carina’s love of photography began witnessing a family Polaroid camera making snaps out of moments. From middle school, Carina has practiced with cameras of her own. A chance break of her red Kodak taught her the importance of taking photos with her eyes and not just looking at the back of cameras. Inspired by the natural beauty all around her, Carina created many photos, which began to get published. In addition to weddings, she also has a keen interest in travel photography, astrophotography, and portraiture. Captured by Carina mainly services weddings in the vicinity of Burlington, VT but she is willing to travel to celebrations elsewhere in New England.
Photography with Captured by Carina can cover your joyous journey from getting engaged through your ceremony to your last toast in your reception! Carina will seek out those special moments in your festivities to capture as beautiful keepsake images. After your happy day, this photographer will be able to provide these keepsakes to you as prints and digital files for sharing online. You can revisit the unique moments of your nuptials in the years to come.
